Andrea and Barbara have the gift of understanding how precious the trust their guests place in choosing their restaurant is, and they truly understand the value of time! The time people choose to spend in their restaurant is the time needed to grow authentic products and prepare them with the necessary care. The restaurant is small (about 12 seats), with meticulous attention to detail. The menu is fixed and the same for all guests, and dinner is at 8:00 PM. Barbara prepares delicious vegetarian recipes using local products grown directly near the restaurant, while Andrea welcomes his guests with great warmth and kindness, introducing the restaurant, their daily activities, and each course with meticulous care, conveying all their love for growing products and their artisanal preparation according to ancient traditions. 25/04/2026: A fantastic experience amidst the winding roads of Abruzzo. After a motorcycle ride through Guardiagrele, Casoli, the Verde River springs in Fara San Martino, Palena, Campo di Giove, and Pacentro, we crossed the San Leonardo Pass and stopped for lunch at Locanda del Barone in San Vittorino (descending just before Caramanico). ​The restaurant is wonderful, with a beautifully landscaped outdoor garden, perfect for relaxing. Lunch was top-notch: on the owner's recommendation, we opted for three starters, all perfect. We then continued with superb handmade arrosticini and exceptional roast lamb. The dessert, a lemon tart, was also excellent. ​The value for money is amazing, with the bill being decidedly modest considering the high quality of the dishes. We wanted to show our biker friends from Bari the best of Abruzzo, and thanks to this lunch, we achieved perfection. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! Booking in advance is recommended.

The welcome is warm and cheerful, yet not intrusive, like the service. The seasonal menu is carefully crafted, without overwhelming the number of courses, highlighting local traditions. Meticulous preparations in the kitchen are transformed into tasty and succulent dishes at the table. The veal with tuna sauce is superb, and the guinea fowl leg is excellent. The desserts are exceptional. The wine list is interesting, with a focus on regional wines. Reservations are recommended.

10/01/2026: tiny portions no more than 50 grams of pasta, if you go just for a first course they are quite annoyed, but it's all good, furniture and tables quite worn, quite cystic for a trattoria, for a first course you go from a minimum of 12 euros for a cacio pepe 😵‍💫

I also find the price to be below par for the quality offered. It's spacious with a truly pleasant outdoor area (I'd prefer real grass, not synthetic). Nothing else to say except compliments!

15/06/2026: Attracted by the opportunity for my partner to eat gluten-free, we wanted to give this place a try. Run by two very kind people who are happy to chat along the way, we were literally stunned by the "Costanzo" sandwich, an explosion of bold yet well-balanced flavors. Some might argue, "They're just sandwiches," but the love, dedication, and above all, the RAW MATERIALS these guys put into every creation is incredible (so much so that we forgot about dessert and grabbed a third sandwich to share, spoiling another moment of joy). We returned to Carmine's for a family dinner and, as always, we were reassured that this place is a must-try for those seeking excellent seafood. Their consistency in the quality of their ingredients and service is admirable. The experience started off great with the two house mixed appetizers. It's a beautifully structured menu, offering a series of hot and cold tastings where the ingredients take center stage. Dishes are clean in flavor, never overpowered by excessive seasoning, ranging from the delicacy of local seafood to more delicious traditional seafood dishes, all served with perfect timing. The freshness of the fish is evident in every bite. The highlight of the evening were the first courses, all executed with remarkable technical precision. For our little girl, we ordered gnocchi with scampi in tomato sauce: the pasta had the perfect consistency, and the rich, creamy sauce was perfectly balanced for a child's tastes, so much so that she swiped it all up in no time. The marinara risotto was a real surprise, impeccably creamed, with perfectly separated grains and an intense aroma of the sea. The spaghetti with clams was also top-notch: pasta decidedly al dente, bound together by a perfect emulsion, flavorful and without a trace of sand. We finished by sharing a mixed Adriatic fry between three: dry, crispy, and very light. To drink, we had a half liter of house white wine, chilled and delicious throughout the dinner. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, and the staff stands out for their professionalism, never stiff, with an old-fashioned attention to detail, even for the children. The bill was absolutely fair for the quality of the dinner. We always come back and continue to recommend it.
