Il Casale is a very rustic restaurant with a spectacular view, perfect for those who want to eat well, a lot, and enjoy a long lunch in good company. The menu includes: - Cold appetizers: platters of local cured meats and cheeses, bruschetta, - Hot appetizers: fritters, meatballs, mixed fried dishes, chicken livers with potatoes - First courses: your choice, to share depending on your appetite. The ravioli are good. I wasn't thrilled with the rest. - Second courses: the mixed grill is a must. The lamb and sausages are excellent. - Desserts: Among the house specials, I loved one consisting of a sort of pancake with Chantilly cream inside. Wine, water, and coffee. The price of the entire menu is between €30 and €40, depending on how much you order. It's worth it, especially for the appetizers, which are truly plentiful and delicious.

The food is excellent, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is very comfortable, surrounded by mountains, silence and relaxation.

Update 7/19/2026 We've been there two more times, and unfortunately, I have to confirm the manager's unfriendly attitude, always with the wrong words, and the last time truly out of place. I'm a cancer patient with walking difficulties, and unfortunately it shows. We had only asked to order first courses in addition to the appetizer. He came to the table and arrogantly told us in no uncertain terms that if we were in a hurry, we could leave. We'd come a long way, and despite the rudeness, we stayed, but it was quite inconvenient (the friends I'd invited wanted to leave). Luckily, the girls in the dining room are very kind as well as efficient, and with that "school," it's a plus. Despite the unpleasant episode, I still give full marks for the quality of the dishes, the friendly service from the dining room staff, and the fair bill. I'll add some photos. -------------------------------- I called by chance on a Tuesday, and Google showed it was only open on weekends. A restaurant with a beautiful panoramic veranda, quality furnishings, and good food. They're used to serving a generous appetizer, and when we declined (we prefer a first and second course), they were a bit surprised, but then everything went smoothly. We ordered three different appetizers, all very good, well-seasoned, and generous portions. The lamb was also well-cooked and flavorful. The bathrooms are brand new and clean. They also offer homemade rosolio liqueurs and desserts. The only negatives: the menu was recited aloud (not because of the prices, the bill was more than fair), but because it was difficult to remember the dishes as they were listed; the owner was a bit gruff (something noted in other reviews), but fortunately we were served by a very young, friendly, and polite man. Definitely worth keeping in mind when in the area.

Excellent appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts

I booked for my partner's birthday and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful venue with its beautiful garden, excellent food, and extremely kind and courteous staff. I also had the pleasant surprise of an eighteenth birthday party with accompanying music, and the surprise that it was open for dinner. We will definitely become customers.

Excellent staff and people. Excellent food, spacious parking. Anything else? Everything is fine. Exceptional view. Reservations recommended.

Family lunch at this wonderful panoramic restaurant. Abundant cold and hot appetizers featuring typical local ingredients. Delicious first courses include walnut and truffle ravioli, homemade fettuccine with mushrooms and truffle, and chitarrina pasta with ragù. We were full, so we opted for a few second courses, but the mixed roast was excellent.
