01/10/2025: We were refused to eat here when we went inside the restaurant. The lady even scolded my friend on what she was wearing (off shoulder top), very unnecessary. Very bad experience. We just went out of the restaurant, even so, she continued to tell us that it was wrong to enter the restaurant. Hays.

23/08/2025: It's always a shame for me to leave a negative review, especially when the location is truly delightful: small but meticulously maintained and with a pleasant atmosphere. For this very reason, I believe constructive criticism can help both the owners, helping them grow and improve, and future customers, helping them have a more satisfying experience. During our dinner, however, several inconveniences arose that I must point out. As soon as we sat down, we found the placemat dirty, likely not replaced after the previous service. A detail that alone wouldn't have ruined the evening, but unfortunately it was the first in a series of oversights. We ordered a first course to share and two second courses. Unfortunately, the tagliatelle with lamb ragù was so salty that it was difficult to enjoy. The wild boar meatballs, however, arrived cold and partly burned. Finally, the sliced ​​beef: we weren't asked how it was cooked, and, without a proper knife for serving, we were faced with overcooked, very salty, and difficult to cut meat. A real shame, especially since the prices were decidedly high compared to the actual quality of what we were served. I sincerely hope these observations are helpful: the location has potential, but the cuisine and service deserve more attention to live up to expectations.

17/11/2025: Dear Lodenwirt Team We had a wonderful week with you. Everything was perfect for us. The breakfast was delicious and left nothing to be desired. Scrambled or fried eggs were freshly prepared and served upon request. The daily highlight, however, was the evening menu, which was truly Michelin-star quality. Absolutely delicious. The pizza was also a delight. All the staff were very friendly and attentive to our every need. The wellness area was also lovely. It had everything we could possibly need. The saunas, steam room, and whirlpool left almost nothing to be desired. Another highlight was the massage by Petra. Thank you for a wonderful week, and we look forward to seeing you again.

14/11/2025: We stayed at this hotel for two nights and were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming, clean, and tidy atmosphere. The room was spacious, equipped with all the necessary amenities, warm, and quiet. Breakfast, for us, was excellent and plentiful! A rich, high-quality buffet. The spa is small, intimate, and well-maintained! We really enjoyed our stay!! The location could be seen as a negative, but the hotel is quiet and convenient for business trips, and it's also excellent for tourism because the nearby valleys are within easy reach.

03/10/2025: We stopped at this quaint restaurant by chance. Not being from Puglia, we followed the owner's recommendation and were completely satisfied... the courtesy and quality made our lunch break a truly enjoyable one! Highly recommended!

16/11/2025: This is my second time at this restaurant. The first time we had pizza, and I have to say it was really good. We went back to try the fish option and were extremely satisfied. The portions are enormous. There were four of us adults, and with just one enormous appetizer, we were already full. Everything was delicious, tasty, and fresh. Even though we were already full, the first courses were one better than the last, and what can I say about the grilled octopus? Superb! Last but not least, the super cannoli with a ricotta cream and the melt-in-your-mouth scacciana pasta. I really can't find a single flaw in this restaurant. The Christmas atmosphere is wonderful, and the waiters and owners are friendly and joking. We didn't even pay too much for everything we ate. We can't wait to return.

09/11/2025: Truly a pleasant discovery, with polite and friendly staff, a very cute and quaint place, excellent food and service. I'll reserve five stars only after trying the restaurant as well; tonight, only pizzas and a few appetizers. Would I recommend it? Definitely! Will we be back? Of course! See you soon!

08/12/2025: A pleasant discovery just steps from the Royal Palace of Caserta. Given how busy the area is, it might seem like a tourist trap, but the pizza was actually very good, especially the tomato sauce. This makes all the difference, so I recommend it over the plain pizza. The prices are also reasonable. It's practically constantly baking, and it doesn't close for lunch.

05/12/2025: Excellent Neapolitan pizzas (special mention for the fiordilatte, escarole, pine nuts, and olives). Other excellent dishes (pasta alla genovese). Quick and friendly service. Just steps from one of the most extraordinary places in Italy (the Royal Palace of Caserta). I go to Basilico whenever I can!

01/09/2025: Excellent dinner, highly recommended. The blueberry and Taleggio risotto is truly a delight! The tagliatelle with venison ragù is delicious. Welcoming and professional service. Well-kept atmosphere. Excellent value for money.

15/11/2025: Good evening, I went to this place to eat piadina with my husband, what can I say, the piadina was good, average, but the sore point is hygiene and cleanliness... unfortunately, since everything is in view, and the tables are right next to the counter, it is impossible not to see, even if I would have liked not to see, what my eyes saw!... the guy who with his hands was dicing a large piece of gorgonzola into small pieces, all this with his bare hands without gloves... then he wiped his pants, went to the cashier and took orders touching money, and then came back to handle more cheese... I love gorgonzola, but I think I won't eat it for a while, it's not possible that all the preparations are made without gloves, especially the cheeses... I'm sorry but I won't be going back, today I already wanted to leave but by then I had paid, and anyway I didn't even finish the whole piadina, I was gone...

23/11/2025: A good pizza, made with excellent quality ingredients. It's a shame about the very long wait, about an hour after ordering. It's also a shame that they offered an alternative pizza topping without specifying a surcharge. It's unfortunate that I ate a pasta frittata that, according to the staff, had been made incorrectly by the kitchen, and that it was still on the receipt.

12/11/2025: Historic restaurant, good pizza, friendly staff, but in 2025, the lack of an adequate air circulation system is unacceptable, especially since the only thing left to do after leaving is go home or to the dry cleaners, because you can't walk around with the smell of fried food that gets on your socks. It's also unacceptable that after decades of business, they haven't noticed that the knives provided to customers aren't made for pizza, and in general, they don't cut well. Pizza knives have a special serration, but here it's impossible to cut them.

01/11/2025: Excellent pastries and croissants...the cream is amazing. The only thing I can think of to improve is: separate the coffee from the milk when ordering a latte macchiato so the customer can choose how much coffee to add. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful!!!
