26/04/2025: Excellent location, between Saint Jaques and Champoluc, and a view of the snow-capped mountains to take your breath away. The guys at the service were kind, friendly and nice. Excellent food, in particular a starter of liver or peppers and anchovies, but also respectable first courses that bring you to the flavors of the mountains... what can I say, more than recommended

The food offered is very good both in terms of the cutting boards (very generous in quantities) and in terms of the polenta. 27/04/2025: Excellent first experience in this place, excellent Valle d'Aosta cutlet, crunchy and tasty breading... the zabaglione cream of the profiteroles was good but it would have been better if hot. Really nice and charming environment.

Given that the waitress was very kind to us, the only flaw is that when we were there there were many changes to the menu which were only verbally reported to us by the waitress, if there are a couple it's not a problem but when there are many it would be better to make a piece of paper to attach to the menu otherwise the customer will forget what he was told.

24/04/2025: I liked it. Small, family run environment. Few culinary choices but of quality. Some dishes were no longer available also because we were at the end of the season.

16/04/2025: Wonderful people run this hotel. We stayed for a week skiing and were brilliantly looked after. Rosalla and Francesca run this hotel as if you are much loved family, what more can you say. It is 10 mins to Champoluc which might not work for everyone but was fine for us as we had a car and Rosalla gave us a lift to the slopes every morning. Normally busses run to the door but we were too late in the season. The sauna/spa is small but really great at the end of the day skiing and we used it every day. Great food too including lovely breakfast every morning.

19/09/2024: We were there yesterday, although out of season, attracted by their animals (geese, chickens, etc.) the owner and her son welcomed us with courtesy, letting us taste their cheeses and bread. Sitting in front of a stupendous view we savored genuine goodness, in every sense. We really recommend it

Unfortunately the service was lacking in several aspects, a first request for lemon for seasoning was lost in the void and the second was made with ONE skimpy slice. Sixteen people stuck together at the table in a dark tavern, oh well. Wi-Fi connection null, password asked, incorrect provided. Let's not talk about the bill.

09/04/2025: The people are soooo nice. It's incredible. It's the end of the season and at some places you can notice because the staff really wants it to be over, but not here! They are so kind, they always help you with a smile on their face, they really try to help you in English, the food is so good and they are very helpfull. Bonus: they have the cutest dog named Alaska.

25/03/2025: Bar Ristorante Ostafa in Champoluc is a delicious spot when you're looking to refuel after a day on the slopes. it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and a cozy atmosphere. The friendly staff, l home cooked meals and the scenic terrace adds to the charm.

02/06/2025: We went there for dinner, it is recommended to call to book, especially on weekends/long weekends. They made us sit on the ground floor next to the entrance, in front of the bar. Excellent and abundant dishes and good quality / price ratio!
