Located in a prime position near the second gondola lift of the ski area in Champoluc, the restaurant Ostafa offers a pleasant experience surrounded by the stunning Alpine scenery of Valle d'Aosta, with snow-covered mountains and breathtaking views. The food is of good quality: the tagliolini with venison ragù are flavorful and well-seasoned, although slightly sticky in texture. The homemade tart, on the other hand, is excellent and stands out for its taste and quality. The staff is courteous and helpful. Prices are on the higher side, but consistent with the high-altitude location and tourist setting. Overall, a recommended stop for those looking to enjoy a satisfying meal during a day on the slopes, while taking in a truly outstanding location.

Bar & Restaurant Ostafa is a truly pleasant spot for a lunch break or a quiet lunch at altitude above Champoluc. We visited as a family on a Saturday and overall had a great time: the food is good, with dishes that taste "made with care" and quality ingredients. We were particularly impressed by the charcuterie board and the Black Angus cheeseburger, both tasty and beautifully presented. The location is very picturesque, easily accessible by cable car, with a view that makes the experience even more enjoyable, especially if the weather is good. The panoramic terrace is also a nice added bonus for those who want to dine al fresco with a view of the mountains. The service is friendly, although sometimes a bit hectic, as the place can get crowded at peak times (which I understand given its popularity). The prices we paid (about €140 for four) were in line with the quality and location, considering the altitude. Overall, a lovely experience, recommended if you're in the area and want a well-prepared lunch in a scenic setting—but don't expect a high-end "gourmet restaurant."

A refuge on the Champoluc slopes! We've eaten here several times. The food is good, the service is attentive and friendly, and there's plenty of space both inside and out, and Wi-Fi is available.
