01/10/2025: A modern, beautifully decorated restaurant with a view of the lake and very friendly service. Both the starter (beef tartare with burrata and truffle) and the main course (saffron risotto) were delicious. Everything was excellent. Definitely recommended.

14/11/2025: The food was truly excellent: the platter was out of this world, the trio of tartares a combination of delicate and fresh flavors, and the vegetable caponata was a must-try. The wine selection is thoughtful and well-stocked. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with details that make it particularly pleasant. The staff was incredibly kind, especially considering we arrived almost 3 PM. Thank you for the experience!

28/09/2025: A very pleasant little place just outside the center (during the day, you can see the lake from the outdoor tables). Delicious home-cooked food: you can choose between Cinta Senese, game, and lake meats. We had the exceptional wild boar-stuffed ragù, but everything else was delicious, too.

05/10/2025: It's a sublime gelato, the number one on the island, especially the ricotta, chocolate and caper, and basil flavors, all of which are fantastic. I'm letting you know that today, October 5th, is the last day of opening.

02/10/2025: As a seasoned gelato lover, I can honestly say that this gelato shop is, year after year, the best in Italy. The gelato is light yet rich in flavor. The Ciocco Cappero is a must-try!

07/11/2025: A tavola calda where you choose what you want to eat and drink and they warm it up and bring it to the table. A massive selection of first, second and side dishes all homemade. We hade a plate of veggies, lasagne, spinach and ricotta pasta with tomato sauce. ½ litre of local white wine and water. Bread is included in the cover charge. We paid €13 per person which is brilliant. The staff are lovely and friendly. There are desserts available from €7 and coffee to finish if you want. The service is quick and efficient and there is plenty of room. Lots of parking at the petrol station next door.

30/10/2025: A great lunchtime find! "Nonna Papera" was a great choice for a quick business lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and the organization impeccable, allowing us to optimize time without sacrificing quality. ​The highlight is definitely the food: the kitchen offers traditional dishes with excellent, authentic flavor. ​The extremely friendly staff makes the experience even more positive. They are attentive, fast, and always ready to accommodate requests with a smile. ​Finally, the quality-price ratio is excellent. ​Highly recommended for those looking for a quality, quick, and affordable business lunch!

01/11/2025: A great find in the historic center of Castiglione del Lago. The staff is young and welcoming. High-quality ingredients and well-executed dishes are served in a casual setting. We'll definitely be back.

05/11/2025: We did not have lodgings but had a wonderful dinner. We were 8 service great, wine list good & fair & meat is way to go. I had beef tartar as appetizer , best ever & it’s my thing. Chef on grill knows what he is doing. Most family had steaks - special compliment to the filet cut. I had the aged & marbeled rib eye & was good but in retrospect - I’m going filet next time. Strong recommend

02/11/2025: Three stars thanks to the restaurant (which alone is worth five, for the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff. Highly recommended). As for the farmhouse, it's a real shame. The property deserves it, but the cleanliness isn't up to par. We appreciate the manager's intervention, which, following our report, immediately resolved the issue. However, greater attention to cleanliness would be desirable, to enhance and restore the property's splendor.

02/11/2025: We went for lunch yesterday. The atmosphere was family-friendly. The place is well-maintained. It feels like it's been immersed in the post-war era, with the sign outside echoing memories of the past. Inside, the tables are small with iron sconces, and the candle hanging from a metal holder from the ceiling is very pretty. I think the dark creates a lovely atmosphere. The staff is friendly but disorganized. The food is good, especially the tortelloni and gnocchi. Overall, a good lunch.

26/10/2025: It seemed like a nice place, except I found a centimeter-long white worm in my pasta! They replaced my plate, but the managers didn't even come to apologize.
