31/07/2025: Posto magnifico,staf molto disponibile e cordiale vista a dir poco magnifica,pesce molto fresco e con un ottima varietà di piatti per tutti.

30/07/2025: Были с семьей. Было очень вкусно. Брали детям жареное мясо на гриле (большая порция на двоих); кньоки с трюфелем, дегустационный сет из бутеров с местной рыбкой (из озера); осьминог; ; вино. Нам повезло, перед нами позвонили и отменили бронь на террасе и это был последний столик. Поэтому рекомендую делать бронь заранее. Ресторан напротив (бистро) тоже их же. Но там блюда больше бистро (тартары и что-то ещё)

12/08/2025: A dinner with friends in Castiglione del Lago... nothing... we really tried to find something wrong... but it's a wonderful place with so much good food, fantastic staff and a super kind owner who did his utmost to make us eat given the amount of people... tartare like never before... side dishes that are something absurd... shame we're not close... super fair price for such incredible quality... we hope to return as soon as possible, perhaps around Christmas to see the famous Christmas tree... thank you so much...

21/08/2025: We had a truly wonderful time. The restaurant is welcoming and elegant, the staff exceptional and incredibly kind. The food left us speechless, truly excellent. They even gave us the option of taking our second course with us since our daughter was very tired. It was the perfect end to our vacation. Thank you.

22/06/2025: We love this family run trattoria nestled in the center of Castiglione del Lago! As we spend several weeks in Castiglione every summer, we often stop in for lunch or dinner, and sometimes just for drinks. The menu has a variety of options, from a quick meal of torta al testo to a more substantial dinner with multiple courses. Whatever you select, the food is excellent, fresh, and plated with care. They often have specials featuring seasonal ingredients such as truffles or asparagus.

31/07/2025: Delicious! We were there twice during our vacation. It's close to Lake Trasimeno, but much less touristy. Mostly locals eat here, and you can taste it. The location might not seem inviting, but it doesn't have to be. The food is delicious. We tried the various pasta dishes and pizza. Everything was very tasty. The pasta portions weren't huge; it's primi piati, of course, so no huge plates full of it. Instead, we had plates of truly homemade pasta. Delicious. The pasta with garlic, pomodori, and bacon is especially recommended. A nice wine to go with it. The owner/waiter works tirelessly, but remains hospitable and makes sure you have everything you need. The food was delicious. Highly recommended!! Authentic Italian cuisine.

29/07/2025: The owner welcomes us in an 80s atmosphere. We ordered a simple platter of excellent cured meats and cheeses, but what makes the difference, in addition to the excellent products, is a delicious onion jam with berries. We continue with the excellent cod and special pici alla carbonara. We decide to have a Margherita pizza, even if with some doubts, but we receive an excellent pizza, perfect dough, very tasty, very delicious, and we finish with a shortcrust pastry with cream and peaches, the price is a gift for everything we ate and for the excellent products. We will return as soon as possible, thanks to the very kind owners who reflect the authenticity of the dishes they offer. Highly recommended.

13/08/2025: Passing by, I stopped in, tempted by the positive reviews. The staff was kind, helpful, attentive, and thoughtful. The food was excellent and delicious (ricotta and spinach tortellini, eggplant parmigiana, fried vegetables, and potato and water pie). The service was prompt, and everything was served hot. The bill was 1/5 less than I expected. If only I could give it six stars.

13/08/2025: Found by chance, outside the city center. A great diner with a wide variety, the food is home-style, and everyone is very friendly. The eggplant parmigiana and ricotta and spinach ravioli with tomato sauce are delicious. It has an indoor dining room and an air-conditioned veranda. Highly recommended not only for tourists, but also for lunch breaks and families.

19/08/2025: Il Pellicano has been a regular stop when I visit my sister in Umbria since 1998. When I was younger, I'd stop in for sandwiches and a beer; now I use it to pick up a delicious takeout pizza. The dough is well-made, well-risen (so much so that you won't wake up thirsty the next day), and the wide selection of flavors is worth trying. Recommended for anyone passing through the San Faticchio area and surrounding towns.

18/08/2025: We had dinner at Pellicano and, in addition to the generous portions, we were served by very friendly staff. The burgers and pizzas were excellent. Prices were average. I recommend it!

I walk into a restaurant and expect a warm welcome, and the staff made us feel like regulars. I give it a 5-star rating. Then, once you're seated at the table, you expect to eat well. Well, we chose traditional dishes and felt the desire to serve good food. I give it a 5-star rating. And let's not forget that even though we had our Cucciolona with us, a peculiar Maremma dog with her obsessions, she was also welcomed with kindness and affection. And finally, we need to consider the exit. The one where you say it was wonderful to be there and that you want to return. I want to point out that the prices are fair. I give it a 5-star rating. 03/08/2025: During our stay near Lake Garda, my partner and I, traveling from Rome, had the pleasure of discovering an exceptional restaurant, booked through TheFork. The experience was nothing short of memorable, thanks to a welcoming atmosphere and a refined ambiance. Because it's a grill restaurant, our focus was on the meat, which was superb and cooked to perfection, according to our preference (rare). The restaurant offers a choice of three levels of marbling, with options changing daily. We opted for medium marbling, selecting a Scottish cut, as the more heavily marbling Polish cut didn't particularly appeal to us. I want to express my appreciation to the chef, whose kindness and expertise enriched our experience. He explained the cooking technique used, which involves a specially designed grill to allow the wood smoke to adhere to the meat, giving it an intense and delicious flavor. A nice touch was the rosemary-infused oil, which further enhanced the flavor of the meat. Although we considered adding a side dish, we chose to focus on the meat so as not to weigh ourselves down. However, I highly recommend the appetizers, especially the bacon-wrapped tomino and the pecorino with truffle, both excellent. To accompany the dinner, we enjoyed a local house wine, which we were so impressed with, we decided to buy it today. In short, an extraordinary culinary experience that I highly recommend to anyone in the area.

02/07/2025: We entered this restaurant to book and were greeted with unique warmth. The ladies were busy preparing the pasta by hand and that already gave us a good impression. The staff was courteous and the wait to eat was quite short. We took the saffron gnocchi (two plates), a portion of potatoes and a bottle of water spending a total of 39 euros. The gnocchi were spectacular to the point that we cleaned the plates with bread and the same can be said for the potatoes. Beautiful memory of our visit to Castiglione del Lago. Thank you. 😀
