28/06/2025: Very nice place, kind and pleasant service, beautiful table setting, strong point also the lake view outside on the terrace. The food however is not up to par, pasta with clams tasteless and soupy on the bottom. The tentacle with nduja and mashed potatoes is a very good pairing, but it must be left whole and grilled, because in slices it seems to have come out of a defrosted vacuum.
Very limited choice of wines by the glass (one if not 2 choices after request)
There is potential but the preparations need to be reviewed and corrected

06/07/2025: Excellent place, we were with the whole family, 2 adults and 4 children and the staff was so kind to cook us 2 pasta dishes in the restaurant opposite (also owned by them), the cutting board we took was exquisite, many varieties of cured meats, cheeses with excellent jams. Recommended!!!

22/06/2025: We love this family run trattoria nestled in the center of Castiglione del Lago! As we spend several weeks in Castiglione every summer, we often stop in for lunch or dinner, and sometimes just for drinks. The menu has a variety of options, from a quick meal of torta al testo to a more substantial dinner with multiple courses. Whatever you select, the food is excellent, fresh, and plated with care. They often have specials featuring seasonal ingredients such as truffles or asparagus.

21/06/2025: Very kind service💙, the lady very sweet and helpful with my children. Excellent quality/price, the tagliatelle with venison of real thickness, the wild boar meat and cured meats are excellent and the Sienese meat sausage is a real bomb. I recommend it to everyone, the cuisine is truly excellent quality.

13/07/2025: Very spacious and well-decorated restaurant, with friendly staff and fast service. The carbonara was truly delicious, and the entrecôte was very tender.
I recommend the tiramisu for dessert.

02/07/2025: We entered this restaurant to book and were greeted with unique warmth. The ladies were busy preparing the pasta by hand and that already gave us a good impression. The staff was courteous and the wait to eat was quite short. We took the saffron gnocchi (two plates), a portion of potatoes and a bottle of water spending a total of 39 euros. The gnocchi were spectacular to the point that we cleaned the plates with bread and the same can be said for the potatoes. Beautiful memory of our visit to Castiglione del Lago. Thank you. 😀

Huge variety of pizzas, sandwiches and plated meat, special mention for the baked pork shank...great variety of beers...nice outdoor atmosphere with German beer garden style tables...large parking lot.

10/06/2025: A group of us were in Cortona for a wedding and wanted to try a restaurant in a different town - and this was hands down our favorite from the five days we were in the region. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and from start to finish this was a great meal experience. The food itself was phenomenal - ask for olive oil pairings with your food! The seafood was so fresh and the pasta mouth-wateringly delicious. If you're reading this review, run, don't walk there - you will love this place.
03/06/2025: We had a wonderful dinner here! Definitely not your standard Italian fare — everything from the generous seafood antipasti to the delicious seafood pasta and the tiramisu was exceptional. The fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. Service was warm and welcoming, with very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended if you’re looking for quality food and a great dining experience!

02/07/2025: A very nice restaurant with equally nice waiters! Neatly dressed in black and white which gives something extra for me! My advice is to sit in the atmospheric garden/terrace, you look out over Lago Trasimeno and the terrace is very nicely laid out and the plants really complete it.
The food tastes great and the waiters are real Italians, neat, polite and speak good English.
The restaurant is located in the center and is not accessible by car. You park it at the edge of the city walls a nice walk through this small town is worth it! There is a lot of variety and something for everyone. There are a number of very nice restaurants to visit. A short walk there will make you hungry.

29/06/2025: The restaurant has a beautiful veranda overlooking the lake, the service was attentive and professional, the food was excellent from the tartare to the first courses, the tortelli were fantastic, prices were slightly high but the products were excellent...
