20/08/2026: A fantastic lodge nestled in the greenery of the Anna Valley. The owners are kind and welcoming, and the food is excellent; I recommend the barbecued dumplings. The atmosphere is beautiful, with an open grill where the menu's specialties are prepared. There's also a small play area for children.

14/08/2026: Excellent experience. The structure is divided into several levels, converted from a former farmhouse. The "small rooms" for couples are super intimate, while the other slightly larger ones are also wonderful. Excellent food and beverage selection. My only small complaint is that I would have preferred a few more dishes, but overall, a truly wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

01/08/2026: Crazy prices, even for South Tyrol residents. €34 round trip. Recommended for those who can hike. The trail isn't technically difficult, and the climb, though quite steep, is doable even for those with limited fitness. Trail 9.
28/07/2026: We're in Val Gardena, specifically Ortisei, a true gem nestled in the valley's mountains.
The Resciesa funicular is well-organized and easily accessible, either on foot by walking around Ortisei or by taking the escalators, not all of which are in working order, from the center.
The only downside is the price increase. €34.00 return for adults, €25.00 return for children over 6 and under 13.
Are you planning a family of 4 or 5?!
However, the funicular is clean and tidy.
The quality-price ratio is good.
Val Gardena is full of family hotels; a family-friendly pricing policy is needed.
The view with Ortisei and the Alpe di Siusi in the background is breathtaking.
4 stars for the setting; Val Gardena is wonderful!!

10/05/2026: As locals, we're big fans of this restaurant. Saskia's is a family business run by a mother, daughter, and son, and it's very well and warmly managed. The restaurant is refreshingly free of any unnecessary touristy frills that only serve to inflate prices. The food has been consistently excellent for years, and they offer not only pizza but also a wide selection of other dishes. The tiramisu is legendary, and I highly recommend it to everyone. We love Saskia's.

18/08/2026: This restaurant has become our regular and trusted stop for dinner in Ortisei. The atmosphere is spacious and elegant, especially the interior: very warm and welcoming; the dishes are tasty, and the menu offers something for every taste.
Regarding the service, I can only say that one evening it was a bit rushed, but overall the waiters are friendly and welcoming.
The tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms are delicious, as is the gelato with warm raspberries!

31/05/2026: Beautiful hotel, love the pool and spa setup. Booked 2 nights for $830. They told me breakfast was included before payment, then pulled a “oh actually no” after. Not cool.
Room was spacious and looked amazing. First night slept great, second night AC not working,probably the chiller got turned off. Was a rough night. Missing little things too like tissue box in room and shampoo in bathroom.
Only good thing: staff was really good.
31/01/2026: Great hotel and service. Breakfasts were superb. Loved the easy access to town center, restaurants, pool, sauna etc. The lifts are a short walk

We ordered the crème brûlée, and it was amazing! ♥️ The coffee was exactly how I liked it.
To be honest, the tiramisu was just okay, nothing special.
I really appreciated that they offer a halal menu—that's definitely a plus! 👍🏻
Would I come back? Absolutely! If I ever visit Ortisei again, I'd definitely come back for the crème brûlée and to try more dishes from the menu. 🤍

30/01/2026: This is where the locals eat. All the dishes we tried were delicious. The spaghetti carbonara tasted like it was made at home. The broth with dumplings was excellent, and the truffle ice cream was delicious.

20/03/2026: We discovered this hotel a few years ago thanks to a friend's recommendation, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The room was very welcoming and impeccably clean. The food was excellent: an honorable mention goes to the pork knuckle, truly delicious! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. It was a fantastic experience, and we'll repeat it as soon as possible.

04/05/2026: Welcoming staff, fantastic service, and outstanding food. Came back multiple times—they even remembered me and my order. Get there early, it fills up fast. From Napoli to the Dolomites, this is the best pizza I’ve had.
03/05/2026: Had a great night here and was served by Samual and another young girl. Both were awesome - especially Samuel - who spoke four languages. He was friendly and warm and I really appreciated his service. I hope his boss reads this review!
