18/12/2024: I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious dish of beef with baked potatoes with two friends at Baita Pauli. The meat was tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection, while the potatoes were crispy and aromatic. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend trying this dish! We will definitely be back!

27/12/2024: Sono stata a cena con la famiglia. Tutto ottimo:gulash con polenta, piatto della casa Tirolese e stinco di maiale con patate. Ottimi anche i dolci:strudel di mele e tortino caldo al cioccolato. Servizio velocissimo e sia camerieri che proprietaria gentilissimi e disponibili a scambiare due parole. Prezzi nella media. Consigliatissimo!!!

08/12/2024: TRUFFA!! Ho pagato 9€ per una pizzetta surgelata che era dura e minuscola, 3,50€ per un acqua e 7,50€ per una birra PICCOLA che tra l’altro era pure la birra spillata peggio che io abbia mai visto, non era riempita a malapena a 3/4 del bicchiere, io onestamente mi sento truffato, per non parlare dello staff incompetente che non riusciva neanche a fare due calcoli a mente e quello che ha fatto con la calcolatrice credo pure siano sbagliati, perché pagare una birra PICCOLA 7,50€ non mi sembra il caso. Non lo consiglio a nessuno, non ci verro mai piu.

19/12/2024: Everything was perfect and very pleasant: the room, the restaurant, the food, the location, the view, the common areas, the beautiful sauna area and the availability of the family who runs it with so much love and passion. We found ourselves much better than in the 4 or 5 star facilities we usually frequent, only due to the presence of swimming pools and spas, but which take a back seat. We will definitely be back! Thanks, in particular to the staff in the dining room, the 2 very kind and beautiful children 🙏🙏👏👏

12/12/2024: Ambiente familiar é uma comida caseira fantástica! O atendimento é com imensa simpatia, sempre prontos a explicar ou sugerir, muito queridos. A decoração típica em madeira torna o ambiente muito confortável. Tem uma especialidade de carne óptima!

24/12/2024: the place would be 5 stars but 30 euros for a return ticket on a simple funicular is a total steal!

06/11/2024: The walk from downtown Ortisei to the Resciesa cable car station is all uphill, which can be a bit tiring! There will be road signs on the roadside, just follow them~ It was past 3 pm when we came here, and the cable car would close at 5 pm, so we chose the shortest route: walk to the mountain house restaurant Rifugio Resciesa, which takes about 30 minutes one way. If you have enough time, you can walk a little further to the Santa Croce Church. and the popular viewing point of the Cross Statue further above. The scenery along the way is spectacular!

27/08/2024: I discovered Osteria Da Checco my first night in The Dolomites and was I ever happy because it became my go to place. The food is amazing, the restaurant itself has an incredible view. And best of all the staff are welcoming and friendly. Their main concern is that you are happy and well served. I ate many dishes on the menu, the beef tartare, the rib steak, the octopus salad, Checco’s spareribs (a must), and the veal wiener schnitzel. Everything dish is superb. They also have an incredible wine list. And their olive oil is so good you’ll want to drink it. If you’re in Ortisei this place is a must. A special thank you to everyone that took care of me.

26/08/2024: Beautiful environment. The owner is kind, but not so the girls serving. Never a hint of a smile. Very dry in their ways. Microfiltered water at 5 euros is an exaggerated price. The price of all dishes is supported. Then for heaven's sake... you are in Ortisei...

29/08/2024: Cibo ottimo, specialmente i canederli su fonduta di formaggio pinoli e uvetta. Personale veloce e professionale. Consigliatissimo! Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

28/08/2024: Fuimos en familia cuando en la zona de Val Gardena Una experiencia bastante caótica y decepcionante Lo más destacado fue la hermosa mesa al aire libre. El descanso fue decepcionante Los filetes sabrosos de comida pedidos raros estaban bien hechos y la carbonara que pedí no era comestible como tan salada El servicio fue una comedia de errores con 2 pizzas que aparecen al azar en nuestra mesa mientras estábamos comiendo bebidas. Trajeron los antipasti y la red al mismo tiempo, y faltaban todos los lados con los filetes ¡Qué experiencia!

15/09/2024: Mirando alrededor de Ortisei por la noche después de una comida para un café y postre, nos encontramos con Café Adler siendo una de las pocas paradas de café abiertas. Pedimos café, pero luego fuimos tentados por el encantador strudel en el gabinete de exhibición y no nos decepcionaron, así que regresamos la noche siguiente, pero tuvimos un postre diferente. Con todo, buena elección, buen café, buen pastel y personal agradable.

30/08/2024: Historic venue in the most beautiful square in Ortisei in front of the small church. The venue is beautiful both inside and out and is in a magnificent location. Excellent choice of teas and infusions. The choice of cakes and toasts is a little less rich (no sandwiches).
