07/01/2026: A truly beautiful mountain hut – both in summer and winter. We were there two weeks ago right at rush hour, but were still immediately noticed. We were kindly asked to wait a moment while they checked if there was a free table. Within a minute, we had a table inside. The food was delicious, and the prices were absolutely fantastic. The incredibly friendly staff deserves special mention. A hut with lots of charm and character, where you immediately feel at home. Thank you :)) We'll be back!

07/01/2026: After a hike of about an hour and a half, with temperatures of -12 degrees Celsius, it feels like paradise. The place is small but welcoming, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The dumplings and goulash are delicious and reasonably priced. An experience worth trying even in winter. I recommend crampons for the climb up to the refuge. The sled ride down is also very beautiful.

09/12/2025: A beautiful cabin with warm and welcoming hosts! We had a great rest and the hiking opportunities are plentiful! We would love to stay overnight there next time! The food was delicious!

02/11/2025: Great pizza with stunning views! We went there on a tuesday evening after a really long drive, we were welcomed by a really kind waitress and got a table outside. The pizza we had was probably one of the best pizzas i’ve had yet, you get chili oil, vinegar and salt/pepper on the table with you. The personell was really friendly and nice coming back multiple times asking if everything is fine. We had the creme brûlée as desert, definitely nailed the experience in with that one! Really creamy nice custard and the sugar on top was perfectly torched, you get a strawberry on top of it and a mint leaf for contrast, was really nice. My only complaints would be that the knives weren’t sharp enough to consistently cut the pizza without any problems, and that the chili oil bottle had a leak on top so it’d pour out way more than it should’ve, on top of that there were kids playing outside on the trampoline being fairly loud, but that was expected when taking a seat outside. But the views definitely make you forget those 2 things, would definitely recommend eating there! :) Bathrooms were clean and sanitary too!

03/01/2026: We went to the mountain hut on the second day of our vacation. It's a beautiful mountain hut, spacious both inside and out, with a fantastic view, generous portions, and reasonable prices. The winter trail from the squirrel trail is very pretty, but it's full of ice, especially one section that's completely frozen. Without crampons, you can't get through. If necessary, you can take the beaten path, which is slightly longer, but still better with crampons. Very good food, with a variety of menus, even for the little ones.

31/10/2025: We visited the mountain hut in October... right on the day it closed for the season. Thanks to a beautiful day and the stunning view, we spent a wonderful day outdoors, sitting at one of the tables on the terrace. The trail to get there isn't very difficult and is suitable for children. The food was good.

04/02/2026: The Geisler Alm refuge is simply fantastic! A fabulous place, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in the world, with a breathtaking view that will leave you speechless 😍 We started from Santa Maddalena in Val di Funes, a wonderful route that makes the experience even more special. The food is excellent: delicious and authentic dishes, perfect for warming the heart after a day outdoors. As for table service, we had a bit of a wait, but since it was Sunday and the refuge was very crowded, that's absolutely understandable. And then the real icing on the cake in winter: sledding, pure adrenaline and fun, truly fabulous! An unforgettable experience, to be had at least once in a lifetime ❤️❄️ It's wonderful in summer too!!

04/02/2026: This mountain hut is located just under 2,000 meters above sea level, accessible on foot along a forest trail or through the woods. Leave your car at the Zannes mountain hut parking lot or at one of the slightly further parking lots, and then walk for about 1.5 hours, a leisurely and pleasant stroll. The food we ate was truly delicious; the ribs were spectacular, melt-in-your-mouth. The price was fair considering the location, quality of the food, and ambiance. We'll definitely return.
