17/08/2026: We had a lovely one-night stay at this rifugio. We couldn’t believe how good the food was — we really weren’t expecting it and were so impressed! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We also absolutely loved the dogs! A really lovely stay and a great experience overall.

Siamo partiti dal Parcheggio Zannes (un consiglio: arrive presto al mattino, poiché i posti auto a pagamento sono limitati and si riempiono rapidamente). The abbiamo seguito a bellissimo percorso ad anello che passa prima per la Malga Kaserill: una camminata piacevole, panoramica e adatta a tutti, che rende ancora più meritata la pausa ristoro. From there, we followed a beautiful loop trail, passing first by Kaserillalm: a pleasant, scenic walk suitable for everyone, making the food stop even more rewarding. The food was simply fantastic! We had: Cold cut platter (Tagliere): Generous, authentic, and featuring top-quality local products. Dumplings (Canederli): Made to perfection, rich in flavor, and perfect for recharging your energy. Buchteln: The absolute highlight! A spectacular, fluffy, and delicious dessert that you must try. Friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and breathtaking views of the Geisler/Odle peaks. 30/07/2026: An excellent mountain hut, reachable in about an hour from the convenient valley parking lot... plenty of seating, all outside, plus comfortable wooden loungers! Friendly staff, fair prices, excellent food... I highly recommend the locally produced yogurt, which is truly top-notch!

02/11/2025: Great pizza with stunning views! We went there on a tuesday evening after a really long drive, we were welcomed by a really kind waitress and got a table outside. The pizza we had was probably one of the best pizzas i’ve had yet, you get chili oil, vinegar and salt/pepper on the table with you. The personell was really friendly and nice coming back multiple times asking if everything is fine. We had the creme brûlée as desert, definitely nailed the experience in with that one! Really creamy nice custard and the sugar on top was perfectly torched, you get a strawberry on top of it and a mint leaf for contrast, was really nice. My only complaints would be that the knives weren’t sharp enough to consistently cut the pizza without any problems, and that the chili oil bottle had a leak on top so it’d pour out way more than it should’ve, on top of that there were kids playing outside on the trampoline being fairly loud, but that was expected when taking a seat outside. But the views definitely make you forget those 2 things, would definitely recommend eating there! :) Bathrooms were clean and sanitary too!

09/08/2026: A truly excellent experience! We ate wonderfully: the food was authentic, plentiful, and well beyond "good." The service was impeccable, with welcoming, cheerful, and attentive staff. The setting is charming, well-maintained, and has a warm atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. A refuge that far exceeds expectations. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

21/07/2026: I stopped by during my Alta Via 2 hike for an early dinner. The food was excellent and the staff were wonderful. The host wearing the traditional Dirndl showed amazing hospitality, when I asked to take the leftover bread from my table, she kindly refilled the bag so I would have extra for the trail. I will definitely come back.

02/07/2026: Beautiful destination. If you’re going to hike, recommend you to be at parking at the morning. The apple strudle and aperol was completly worth it (not even that expansive).
