01/06/2025: Beautiful terrace, well located, but that's about it, at least as far as drinks go. Long wait to order even though the terrace isn't full. The same goes for receiving your orders. The server doesn't know what he's putting on the table and gets confused between an alcoholic and a non-alcoholic glass. When we question him about it, he claims the volatile doesn't contain alcohol... then he doesn't know... but we're right, there is alcohol. The non-alcoholic mojito resembled a barely sparkling lemonade with a few mint leaves and two small pieces of lime. (Which weren't squeezed, so they didn't impart any flavor.) The quantity is minimal, which makes this glass relatively expensive for its quantity and quality. Maybe we went on a bad day... Five cocktails, four of which were alcoholic, and a peanut or other small snack. Too bad.

29/07/2025: Abbiamo preso l’ovovia da San Cassiano, ci siamo diretti verso il rifugio con mia moglie e nostro figlio di 3 anni , siamo riusciti ad arrivare con il passeggino (40 min circa) , un po’ di fatica ma una volta arrivati abbiamo preso due primi , veramente molto buoni, tagliatelle al pino mugo e canederli al burro!! Poi il dolce, Prezzo nella media , lo consiglio !! Anche perché è ad una distanza accettabile , vista molto bella.

12/06/2025: Come sempre quando siamo in alta badia un pranzo al Bioch non può mancare. Bella giornata di sole, a tavola ancora meglio. Penne alla Bioch e tagliata, un calice di vino, acqua e caffè. Prezzi da rifugio Alta Badia, comunque imperdibile

26/06/2025: Wir hatten eine Fleisch Plättli bestellt. Nach Angaben der Karte für 2 Personen resp. zum teilen empfohlen. Sehr wenig auf dem Teller für 38 Euro. Brot gab es nicht dazu. Auf Nachfrage nach Brot hieß es, man habe ein Problem in der Küche.

24/06/2025: Recent change of management. The very elegant and panoramic environment corresponds to an insufficient restaurant cuisine (buffet only in winter) with unjustified luxury prices. Poor service only for waiting for dishes longer than 30'

28/07/2025: Following a mix-up with a reservation at another property, everyone at this hotel went out of their way to provide me, my family, and our longtime friends with the utmost support and hospitality. The entire staff demonstrated unparalleled competence and professionalism. The positive review is absolutely deserved and worthy of mention! As for the rest...what can I say? Excellent location, spacious and spotlessly clean rooms, a breakfast filled with quality products, and a superb dinner!!! Well done everyone, truly!!!

14/08/2025: We have ordered hamburger for 21€ so our expectation was high, but it was one of the worst hamburgers we’ve ever had. Service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was completely empty. Horrible experience.

29/07/2025: This property may carry the Leading Hotels of the World label, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of that standard. Setting and decor is old and rundown , the service philosophy seems to revolve around charging extra for absolutely everything — often without warning. From basic amenities to services you’d reasonably expect to be included in a hotel of this caliber, nearly everything comes with an unexpected fee. Instead of feeling pampered, you feel like you're being upsold at every turn. It’s disappointing and leaves a sour taste. Luxury isn’t just about the look — it’s about the guest experience. And here, that experience feels transactional, not hospitable. Definitely not the seamless, elevated stay one would expect from a member of LHW. Extremely underwhelming spa and massage experience. The massage was poorly executed, felt rushed, and completely lacked any professionalism or technique. The spa area itself is tiny and cramped, offering none of the comfort or luxury you would expect. The pool is small and uninviting, the showers are bare — no shampoo, conditioner, or body products provided. No brushes, no hair products, no amenities at all. Everything felt like an afterthought. This is not a relaxing or rejuvenating environment by any standard. Definitely not worth the cost or the time. Would not return or recommend. But the worse was interaction with few members of the staff that insisted on changing us the fee for spa entrance after we paid 150 euro for our poor massages for each and were planning to have dinner for 4 right after. When we called 4 to 5 days in advance, we were told by two staff members that there was no separate entrance fee if you’re having a spa treatment or dinner. We were planning to have both. On the way out of the spa we were asked to pay another 300 for entrance to the “ magnificent “ spa. They could not produce any email confirmation re those charges. We left the hotel very disappointed.

29/07/2025: We were staying in the area and came to the hotel for massage and dinner. After paying 450 euros for 3 massages, we were told to pay another 75 euros per person (300 euros for 4 of us) for utilizing spa services. I have never encountered a spa that charges an entrance fee if you’re using spa services like a massage and planning to have dinner for 4 in the hotel’s restaurant. Additionally, the spa was outdated, lacked any necessary products (like hair brush, mouthwash, q tips, etc), definitely below expectations for The Leading Hotels of the World. The deputy manager Manuel was argumentative and unaccommodating. We left very disappointed and dissatisfied.

01/08/2025: When I traveled from Ortisei to Cortina on July 6th, the Dolomites Maratona was taking place and the bus only ran as far as Corvara, but I had lunch at this restaurant and waited for over three hours until around 3:30pm. The soup I had was delicious and everyone was so kind that I was able to catch the last bus to Falzarego, which left the bus terminal at 5pm, and then call a taxi with some people who were there, arriving in Cortina at 8pm. Thank you so much!

01/03/2025: Eine sehr schöne Location mit einem tollen Blick. Im Prinzip alles super, aber als dann die Rechnung kam und für zwei Portionen Kaiserschmarrn 60 Euro berechnet wurden war die Herrlichkeit schnell vorbei. Das steht in keiner Relation zum Wareneinsatz, wenn auch die Qualität sehr gut war. Schade

06/01/2025: Location da sogno .. e anche una polenta da sogno. I prezzi alti come in tutti i rifugi ma ne vale davvero la pena. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

12/07/2025: Run buy a couple with great friendly staff, the location was great for the Maratona Dolomites on the last bend before you climb up the Passo campolongo. We had a balcony room on the ground floor with the sound of the river was very pleasant. The food was plentiful, with a good choice of breakfast and varied 3 courses for half board, with a freshly buffet salad to start too. There was a bike room to store our bikes if you didn’t want to leave outside on the balcony, parking 🅿️ wasn’t huge but I always managed even in my van 🚐.

21/02/2025: We stayed for 5 days in this property on a half board basis. Very kind and helpful staff and managers, who also adapted the menu for my vegetarian requests. Simple but spacious and functional room with mountain view. Very good food and wide choice of starters. Right portions. Varied breakfast with lots of homemade desserts... delicious butter biscuits! The only flaw is that it was not specified that the half board did not at least include water. For the rest we felt at home. Advised! We will be back 😊

03/07/2025: Great and cozy hotel in Colfosco (Alta Badia). Lady who runs the place really nice person, courteous and helpful. Town is not that big and clean. Hotel was spotless, clean, friendly among others. I really love the restroom with nice spacious shower. Beds were great and comfortable and we nice side porch with set of chairs and table to enjoy the view and drinks.

28/02/2025: Pilze auf der Pizza waren aus der Dose ungenießbar. Nudeln mit Hirsch Nudeln Weich und nicht warm Hirsch schmeckt nicht nach Hirsch.

Anni consecutivi di gruppi portati presso di loro, avere sempre una parola buona e un consiglio di visita presso il loro locale , per gli ultimi 3 anni consecutivi ho prenotato a mio nome per diverse persone(confidando di ricevere un trattamento accurato) invece nonostante avevo avvertito in anticipo , che avremmo preso le costine non ce le hanno lasciate da parte (deludendo i ragazzi a cui le avevo sponsorizzate tanto) e in più ci hanno occupato il nostro posto prenotato anticipatamente, facendoci aspettare 1 ora in piedi! Questo locale non prenderà più un euro né da me ne dai miei gruppi …
