15/08/2025: I spent two weeks in Val Badia and ate about fifteen strudels (it's my passion). I must say, with regret, that the one I ate in this bakery was by far the worst.
07/08/2025: Wednesday, August 6, 2025, a town festival with stalls and street food. A display of sweets outside what I thought was a pastry shop. Five euros for a slice of Sacher torte to take away, which I immediately found pricey... but incredibly expensive once I got home: it wasn't a Sacher torte. The dough was extremely dry, more like a sponge cake with a little cocoa than the rich, buttery dough of the traditional recipe. The cocoa topping looked like icing or glaze, certainly not chocolate ganache (which is essentially made of cream and dark chocolate). The Sacher torte is something else entirely; this is a poorly executed imitation made for quick-and-easy tourists.

Well-stocked for all palates.
They recently opened a BEAUTIFUL new location.
The people are simple and very kind, and I must also compliment the young woman of Venetian origin who works there, a highly knowledgeable person on the various labels and who knows her job well.
A must-visit every time I come to Alta Badia.

18/09/2023: Il ristorante (con annesso confortevole B&B), lascia veramente sorpresi per la qualità del cibo. E' specializzato nel pesce ma devo dire che qualsiasi piatto risulta oltremodo curato, per non ricordare il ricco breakfast, se si soggiorna nella loro struttura. Il pane è fatto in casa così come i dolci tra i quali segnalo in particolare lo strudel di mele fatto come di deve fare, all'antica con la vera ricetta. Non si può inoltre dimenticare la stupenda vista dell'Ortigara. I padroni di casa sono gentilissimi e pronti a soddisfare ogni vostra esigenza.
Servizio ottimo e ambiente elegante. Merita più di una visita.

03/11/2024: Die Führung war leider nicht sehr ansprechend und war mehr Familiengeschichte, als dass man über Wein oder das Unternehmen erfahren hätte.
Das Essen war ganz gut, die Naturweine jedoch leider nicht.
