08/09/2025: I wanted to respond to the POS review... first of all, we don't need anyone to give us a chance, since during the summer we serve more than 2,000 people with 5/6 negative reviews!!!!! Too bad satisfied customers never write... perhaps... it's easy and cowardly to hide behind a PC or a cell phone and denigrate the people who are working!! It was a truly gratuitous review since you tasted the ferruginous water for free and lingered at our outdoor tables all morning, drinking what??... for 7 of us, a coffee ☕...... thank goodness very few people from Romagna are like that!!!... Shame!!! N.B: To get the POS we tried many times with technicians, 📡 antennas, etc., but the valley is narrow and closed and only allows minimal reception, not enough for the POS... anyway, in the mountains it is good or advisable to bring a little cash!!!!

07/09/2025: We decided to give this place a try despite the numerous negative reviews we'd read in the previous few days. When we got outside, we were surprised: "Due to poor cell phone coverage, we can't accept payments by POS terminal." This excuse barely held up ten years ago, let alone now that it's 2025 and there are refuges at 2,500 meters that readily accept any type of payment. The result: we (fortunately) opted for the alternative just three kilometers away, where we had a wonderful time.

10/12/2025: Terrible welcome. We waited ten minutes for someone to come over for coffee, and in the end, they didn't even say hello.

31/08/2025: Based on email correspondence: the restaurant enforces a dress code and does not admit guests in trekking attire. I decided not to visit — if you have coeliac disease and are counting on a gluten-free meal after coming off the trail, it’s better to look for another place.”

13/01/2026: I tried, and never again, a slice of cake 🍰, which I absolutely didn't digest, I really don't recommend it.....

23/11/2025: Slow staff, we waited 10 minutes for our neighbors at table 25, they brought us three chocolates instead of 4 and you couldn't call it chocolate because it was basically milk and nesquik... bathroom without toilet paper, otherwise the place is very nice

06/01/2026: The atmosphere is not bad, run by very friendly and well-organized young people. The food is good, prices are fair. Indoor and outdoor tables! I recommend it!

03/01/2026: Absolutely abysmal "service"! Avoid at all costs if possible! The waiters only offer a semblance of attention after repeated requests. Orders are taken listlessly and silently before the waiter leaves the table without a word. Glasses are only filled to two-thirds capacity, and I won't even begin to discuss the "quality" of the food! €17 for a board with a bit of ham, a few slices of salami and cheese, and a rock-hard pretzel is completely unacceptable. By far the worst experience I've ever had at a mountain hut. While the view is beautiful, it can't compensate for these disastrous conditions.

28/12/2025: Clean, fast, good food. Harsh reviews for nothing. We went in with a bias, but left quite satisfied. A 5-star rating is a positive one for the slanderous reviews, which were unnecessary.

19/08/2025: I agree with all the negative reviews; there's no point repeating what others have already said. It thrives only on people unaware of the terrible quality of this place and on those who settle for less when the two neighboring restaurants are full. It should definitely be closed.

03/04/2026: Honestly, drinking a spritz and a hugó, a small bag of crisps and spending 27.50 is a steal for me that has never happened!!!!

02/04/2026: Way too expensive. It looks nice, but it's an unbelievable tourist trap. They even charge €1 for the toilet.

15/12/2025: I went for pizza with my family (I'd never done that before). The place was empty (and only now do I understand why). The pizzas were so hard they looked like Frisbees. Not crispy, just hard and unsightly. I strongly advise against it.

14/12/2025: Not even one star, so rude, especially the girl, no hospitality or good customer service, disappointing service and poor quality products they use, avoid and save money. We were still sitting down when these people started mopping and cleaning with toxic products that smell so bad, this is called rudeness.

11/02/2026: The beer was cold and the service was okay. The previous reviews are incomprehensible and inexplicable!

27/10/2025: The barmaid 'should be reported with witnesses and cameras after being examined by the judge for having offended my respect and dignity by calling me a beggar in front of others, infamy and slander punishable by law.

08/04/2026: The food was awful. The lasagna was burnt to the inside of the dish. The pizza was tasteless. The service was okay, but not great. Therefore, I was very reluctant to pay the bill. For a place that's actually quite nice, it was a complete disappointment.

05/04/2026: Positive: -Beautiful location Negative: -No bread basket (standard at Lake Garda) -No oil, salt, or pepper on the table… -Portions rather small in comparison. Fish came with fries instead of potatoes (as per the menu). -Service (the man with glasses) was very unfriendly and curt. Conclusion: The restaurant lives off its good location; everything else is below average. Good service could salvage it, but unfortunately, many reviews reflect the same impression.

07/09/2025: No staff! That's why you can't order pizza or pasta, only burgers and fries. The waiter doesn't come to the table, and you have to wait forever at the counter. I left without eating.

03/09/2025: I went to this place today with a group of South Tyrolean friends for an aperitivo. The view was breathtaking. Excellent cold cuts, warm Umbrian focaccia, good pizza, and a special South Tyrolean wine. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

12/10/2025: I rarely give such a poor review, because the cafe is wonderfully located and the views are fantastic, but the arrogant young waitresses seem to be working there as a form of punishment. When one of them approached us, my wife said, "Give it a rest, her boyfriend dumped her."

10/10/2025: The restaurant is in a prime location, but in the shade. This is probably why it was empty outside. We arrived with five people and started pushing two tables together. When the waitress rolled her eyes, we turned around and went to Café Maffei.

08/12/2025: I walked in with my dog, and a dog passed by under the arcades and started barking. I was buying some things. The older, dark-haired lady suggested I go out because she couldn't work... At which point I told her, no problem, let's go out! I should point out that I have a very sweet golden retriever, not a mastiff. Terrible experience.

08/11/2025: We're not there, terrible....we stumbled upon this pastry shop by chance...I had two pieces of cake... carrot and hazelnut... horrible taste...you can taste too much sugar...desserts need to have a balance between the raw ingredients and sweetness... I don't recommend it...

08/04/2026: The atmosphere was great and the staff very friendly. The mixed salad was very large and really delicious! The pasta and risotto were good value for money.
