14/08/2025: Mid-range venue Nothing special

01/08/2025: Attention! The mountain hut is under new management by the Römerkeller company! The service was very attentive and friendly, but the rest of the food left a lot to be desired. Even the cute teddy bears on the terrace don't make up for the service and quality of the food and drinks. A shame for such a beautiful place. Similar to the Platzl in Obereggen, thumbs down. We specifically avoided the Platzl in Obereggen this year for this reason.

27/08/2025: The products are indeed attractive but the prices are unapproachable.

10/08/2025: An impulse purchase, as I'm a pine essence lover. This cream is nothing more than sweetened condensed milk; the mountain pine essence is completely invisible, neither to the smell nor to the taste. The packaging lists the website dolomiti-shop.it, but there's no mention of the product on the website. I don't question the quality of other products in the shop, but one thing that's quite disconcerting is the very high prices for products that are certainly unique, but can be found anywhere else at a lower price.

04/09/2025: Unfortunately, for the past year, pizzas have been delivered incorrectly more often. Things get forgotten, or the pizza has completely melted! It used to be a thousand times better! What a shame... the youngest should think about it.

29/08/2025: Unfortunately, the pizza isn't good anymore, and it's incredibly expensive! We paid €41.50 for three takeout pizzas (at a price of no less than €13 each). The pizzas were very ordinary, not gourmet, and we ate them at home, at our own expense. We've always bought pizza from Pizza Express; it used to be delicious, but unfortunately, we learned (after ordering it) that it's been under new management, and it shows. What a shame.

15/08/2025: I spent two weeks in Val Badia and ate about fifteen strudels (it's my passion). I must say, with regret, that the one I ate in this bakery was by far the worst.

07/08/2025: Wednesday, August 6, 2025, a town festival with stalls and street food. A display of sweets outside what I thought was a pastry shop. Five euros for a slice of Sacher torte to take away, which I immediately found pricey... but incredibly expensive once I got home: it wasn't a Sacher torte. The dough was extremely dry, more like a sponge cake with a little cocoa than the rich, buttery dough of the traditional recipe. The cocoa topping looked like icing or glaze, certainly not chocolate ganache (which is essentially made of cream and dark chocolate). The Sacher torte is something else entirely; this is a poorly executed imitation made for quick-and-easy tourists.

09/10/2025: The pizza was delicious, crispy, juicy, and good. The staff was also very friendly and readily available for any requests. The cocktails, for €7.90, were plentiful and delicious. We'd gladly return.

08/10/2025: The waterfront promenade is reflected TOO MUCH in the price. The menu lists the ice cream for 12.90. The waiter actually wanted 13.90. Was that the surcharge for the no-cream, and still only one scoop of ice cream?! The waiter was in a bad mood, his speech slurred. The cafe was packed, people were queuing for a seat. The ice cream wasn't even particularly good, and they skimped on the strawberry sauce, too. Pfff!

10/08/2025: The products are excellent, but it's a bit pricey. The bread, which isn't made by them and is always in short supply because it's already sold out by 12, is the least good thing.

21/07/2025: Good products, but quite expensive. Extremely slow customer service, but that's typical of these areas.

06/08/2025: I go in and ask for a macchiatone, but to make it with a little milk, because they were making a regular cappuccino the other time. The lady panics and demands impetuously, "But what's a macchiato?" I'll make you a regular macchiato. I'm just saying that it was easy enough not to make the cappuccino to understand that it wasn't complicated, but to the cashier, it seems that it was, and she keeps cursing me in various ways. I don't fight, I pay for it, I let them make me a macchiato, and I leave.

13/10/2025: Unfortunately, I can only confirm the negative reviews. The food was lukewarm and very poorly presented. Luggage costs €2.50 per person. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it in Bolzano.

07/10/2025: I was dining with 3 friends. In advance of ordering, I asked for separate bills. When the bill came they insisted on cash. They refused to separate the bill if it was with a credit card. Nothing was mentioned in advance. Not only was the service poor but the salads were prepared and not fresh. I would not recommend them.

27/09/2025: I bought a slice of Schwarzplententorte (buckwheat flour and jam) and an apple strudel. I really liked the buckwheat cake, but the apple strudel wasn't.

08/08/2025: The cashier serving customers today at 4:50 pm was shocked by her unacceptable behavior. We asked her for sweet pretzels, and she gave us some that weren't fresh! Then we asked her to change them, but she refused and swore in German! When I told her, "We understand what you're saying and will file a complaint against you through Google Reviews," she hit the pastries on the counter in a very rude manner. We asked her name, and she refused and continued speaking German. She is over 50 years old, has short curly hair, and wears glasses. I hope the store manager gives her a warning for bad behavior with tourists! The cashier serving customers today was shocked by her unacceptable behavior. We asked her for sweet pretzels, and she gave us some that weren't fresh! Then we asked her to change them, but she refused and swore in German! When I told her, "We understand what you're saying and will file a complaint against you through Google Reviews," she slammed the pastries on the counter in a very vulgar manner. We asked her name and she refused, continuing to speak in German. She's over fifty, has short, curly hair, and wears glasses. I hope the store manager will reprimand her for her bad behavior with tourists.

29/06/2025: Very, very bad. One star is too many. Never again with this delivery service.

12/10/2025: The place is recently renovated, but for the customers who frequent it it remains an old tavern for wine lovers.

27/09/2025: The menu was sparse, with basically a thin layer of carne salada and four slices of 13 euros!!!! The pasta was decent, although the clams were too few for the taste. We witnessed a shocking scene: the owner kicked "something" inside the restaurant, telling it to get up. Immediately afterward, a boy of about ten ran out, crying. 😮 This should be closed. 🤦🏻‍♂️

21/09/2025: The restaurant is not worth a visit, the place was crowded and there was a table for four available so we sat there (two of us). The waiter came and asked us to change seats and sit at a table for two. We sat for about 15 minutes until they brought the menu. After we ordered, it took more than 30 minutes for a plate of French fries and spaghetti with tomatoes to come!! The taste wasn't that good and it was salty 😁 I don't recommend it.

19/09/2025: Unfortunately, there was no flatbread, and the salad wasn't very fresh. Overall, it didn't taste very good. There are many better restaurants in the area.

19/07/2025: The kebab sandwich was good, but the two with the chicken cutlet left a lot to be desired... Cold bread, straight from the bag and stuffed with a cutlet that... bah..... the French fries seemed like the ones from the day before, re-fried.... I definitely won't be back.
