Tiroler Gröstl ... is a ... pan-fried dish consisting of ... boiled potatoes and ... beef or pork ... that are ... roasted in a pan (Source: Wikipedia) I ordered it with great anticipation. I received boiled potato slices and sliced ​​pork, all smothered in a sauce. My dish hadn't been cooked in a pan. This meal had very little to do with Gröstl. One might now ask, why didn't he complain? The day was very long, I was hungry, tired, and didn't want to go to bed on an empty stomach. However, since I have to give one point, it relates solely to the friendliness of the service staff in the restaurant. I will gladly forgo a return visit to the restaurant.

It's a bit out of the way, so it's best to rent a car. The owner is friendly, and the food is very plentiful. We stayed for three days and highly recommend it.

15/05/2025: A febbraio ho preso una torta per mio figlio che di fatto non abbiamo consumato perché non era per niente buona. Noi ordinavamo sempre lì poi appunto c'è stato questo cambio di gestione e non ci siamo trovati bene. Eh niente ora abbiamo trovato altrove.

07/10/2025: We went for lunch a few days ago. The restaurant has tables right on the lake. The service was satisfactory, but the prices are absolutely outrageous for the amount of food you receive. €10 for half a chicken, no side, no potatoes, no salad, is way too much, and the view doesn't justify the price. The sandwich was also quite good, but the price is absurd. What a shame.

21/09/2025: We were here during our favorite team's training camp. We had dinner here twice, once for pizza, once for traditional food. We had a great time.
