Rifugio Sattlerhutte In Meltina

Rifugio al primo impatto poco accogliente, proprietario scontroso e apparentemente maleducato con gli ospiti italiani, molto più cordiale con i clienti tedeschi. Peccato perché cibo e prezzo sono davvero ottimi. Consigliato un pizzico di gentilezza in più.

Beautiful and well-kept location, friendly staff and good food at an excellent price. I got the dumplings, a platter of cold cuts and a medium beer. All very good and cheap.

High quality food for the place we are in: both savory and sweet! Abundant and tasty dishes! Exquisite buckwheat cake and stratospheric kaisersmutter, but the owner doesn't even crack a smile; the environment inspires fear, the manager is not only reserved but also grumpy and treats the guests as if they were a nuisance...I was very sorry about this, I don't know if I would go back if I had to choose...it's a shame

On the way back from the Stoanernen Mandln, stop at the Sattler Hütte. Fried potatoes with fried eggs and fried bacon. Plus a freshly tapped Forster beer. The world is beautiful.

Eine wunderschöne Hütte, sehr leckeres Essen und ein zackiger aber absolut freundlicher Wirt. Wir können die Sattler Hütte nur empfehlen.

Typische Almhütte auf dem Salten

Nette Wanderung vom Parkplatz Kircheben, mit Kindern machbar (5 und 10). Man sollte sich allerdings darauf einstellen, dass es stellenweise sehr steil wird. Die Hütte ist nicht riesig, aber gemütlich, das Essen war gut, die Bedienung sehr nett. Die Hütte hat einen kleinen Spielplatz. Von hier aus könnte man weiterlaufen über die Möltner Kaser bis zu den steinernen Männle.
