11/05/2026: A must visit if you are driving or staying close by, or even visit from a far. Paola is such a incredible person, there is so much history in this restaurant and in the small village. Food is AMAZING, and the dessert with almond and whine mousse was soooo good! We will never forget this place, and will definitely come back if we can.

08/05/2026: A stop at Bar Ucci, in the magnificent Castello di Volpaia, was a small but precious part of our experience. A welcoming, authentic place, where you immediately feel at home thanks to the extraordinary kindness of its owners. A special thanks to Signora Paola, who is truly amazing: always smiling, helpful, and attentive, accommodating every request with great courtesy and ease. We were particularly impressed by her willingness to prepare something suitable for my mother, taking into account her dietary restrictions with thoughtfulness, sensitivity, and so much attention. A gesture we truly appreciated! It's those small, important details, combined with a sincere smile and a warm welcome, that make all the difference and transform a simple break into a beautiful memory. A genuine place, run with love, absolutely worth a visit!

23/05/2026: We were served by the owner, a very pleasant, delightful man who made our dinner experience very enjoyable. I absolutely loved their short pasta with smoked ham & blue cheese sauce- just amazing flavor. Even the side salad was fresh, tasty and quite large. I will definitely be coming back!

22/05/2026: I went for lunch with a small group of locals. The bruschetta, affettati, and formaggi were plentiful but very average. Most people ordered primi, including tagliatelle ai funghi that were literally swimming in oil. I had the worst insalata caprese of my life: bits of generic mozzarella served with quartered tomatoes and lettuce, without basil leaves or oil. It's worth noting that the dishes aren't prepared on-site but simply reheated. The service was very slow, the prices were high, and it's definitely for tourists.

06/05/2026: Super affordable, family friendly, delicious place to go. The town is beautiful and the people are so nice. We went about an hour before closing and they were so accommodating even that close to closing.

30/04/2026: We ordered a takeaway pizza. The welcome wasn't particularly warm; were we bothering them? The four-cheese pizza was pretty average. After three weeks in Italy, we've had much better. Thin crust, a little bit of cheese, and that was it. Finally, it's rather expensive compared to other regions of Italy, but then again, this is Tuscany...

03/05/2026: Excellent menu and beautiful location However, this kind of treatment is unacceptable. After more than 40 minutes, we were informed that the ravioli we ordered were unavailable. The most embarrassing reaction was the waiter's: when we said, "We ordered them more than half an hour ago," he shrugged, didn't even apologize, and waited for us to order something else. PS: A table next to us received the same ravioli (they had arrived and ordered after us). PS Part 2: Sometimes, an apology and a little bit of caring can make an unpleasant situation easier; ignoring it certainly doesn't help. :)

02/05/2026: An unforgettable afternoon at Osteria Le Panzanelle in Lucarelli, Siena. From the moment I arrived, everything felt just right a warm hospitality, impeccable cleanliness, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was nothing short of divine. I started with the Parpardelle with deer sause followed by the sweetbreads, perfectly prepared and delicately balanced, that was rich, refined, and beautifully presented. Every dish reflected precision and passion, and the service matched it effortlessly attentive, professional, yet genuinely warm. A well-deserved Michelin recognition for 2026. Experiences like this remind you why Tuscany remains one of the great culinary destinations in the world. Thank you for such a lovely afternoon.

01/01/2026: In the magical village of Volpaia, the Osteria offers a refined and elegant atmosphere, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and dishes that showcase local ingredients with a delicately exotic touch that will surprise you. Last but not least, our two dogs were welcomed with joy. We'll definitely be back. Well done, Filippo and Martina!

29/12/2025: Highly recommended. The dishes are exceptional, and you can immediately see the attention to detail (as well as a lot of passion). Bonus: pet-friendly! Our dog, Barolo, was treated like a true prince. If you can, stop by and try the pumpkin buttons!

09/05/2026: In a historic setting, nestled in the cool stone, lies this well-stocked wine bar, which also serves meals. Perfectly prepared dishes and a wide selection of wines by the glass, including exceptional wines that are hard to find.

12/05/2026: My husband and I came and stayed at Borgo Vescine and had such a wonderful time there. From check in to the three day stay, the breakfast was exceptional, the restaurants for dinner even better, the bartenders amazing! They really think of every detail and make you feel so welcome and like family. We will definitely return!

21/04/2026: We visited this restaurant today during a stay in Radda in Chianti. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, the terrace was panoramic, the Tuscan platter was fabulous and generous, the glass of Chianti was fabulous, and the piadina with ham and fontina was excellent. A positive experience that I recommend to everyone.

13/10/2025: A small cozy restaurant with awesome food. The steak with truffle cream was amazing, one of the best we ever had. Also the tagliatelle pasta with ragu was amazing and the tiramisu was good. Also had a caprese salad which was tasty. Overall, definitely will come back.
