23/05/2026: We were served by the owner, a very pleasant, delightful man who made our dinner experience very enjoyable. I absolutely loved their short pasta with smoked ham & blue cheese sauce- just amazing flavor. Even the side salad was fresh, tasty and quite large. I will definitely be coming back!

22/05/2026: I went for lunch with a small group of locals. The bruschetta, affettati, and formaggi were plentiful but very average. Most people ordered primi, including tagliatelle ai funghi that were literally swimming in oil. I had the worst insalata caprese of my life: bits of generic mozzarella served with quartered tomatoes and lettuce, without basil leaves or oil. It's worth noting that the dishes aren't prepared on-site but simply reheated. The service was very slow, the prices were high, and it's definitely for tourists.

13/07/2026: Heartfelt owner. Two person show, so the wait can be a bit longer at times. Food is amazing (both pizza and pasta), had to come back again for a second dinner during our trip!

05/07/2026: Catastrophic, I have no words. We have been coming here for over 5 years, I wrote a glowing review 2 years ago and now I have to change it. Where do I even start. After receiving our starters it look almost an hour for our mains to arrive, they only arrived almost 10 minutes after I asked the waitress and she said 1 minute for their arrival. When the meat arrived…… the lamb chops: basically all fat, had as much meat and my daughter could consume as maybe the palm of her hand, the meat was quite dry and not pleasant to eat. She ordered the vegetables as a side, they were so salty, impossible to eat. My husband also had the lamb chops and had the same problem. As a side he ordered the mixed salad, which never arrived and they tried to charge us for it. I ordered the tagliata, half the meat was veins to the point I had to leave half of it. I ordered the fries which looked like they had been fried yesterday, this morning and then microwaved. My daughter wanted a dessert originally but changed her mind after this food. The service… where to start on that. The waitors look like they dont know what they are doing. Im sorry but if my table is sitting for almost an hour without any food, that should have been noticed. Our wine glasses sat empty for 25 minutes before my husband decided to it himself. When we went to pay, I told the lady our lack of enthusiasm and satisfaction with our meal and she could NOT have cared less. She brushed us off and seemed like she cared more about us paying and leaving quickly then leaving satisfied. Will not be returning. Very upsetting as like i said we came here every year for over 5 years, but this quality, food and service is disgraceful.

05/07/2026: Save your money, your time, and your appetite. Dissapointing to the maximum. I have been coming to this restaurant for years yet after this experience that will finally come to an end. I’m never returning and you should not come either. Everything was fine in the beginning but after our starters were taken away, the nightmare began. It took almost an hour for our mains to arrive and they only arrived after I had to remind the waitress that we existed. Our wine glasses sat empty for over 20 minutes before we had to refill them ourselves. Once the mains arrived….. no words. Lamb chops: full of fat, dry, enough meat to maybe satisfy a lizard, maybe a large chihuahua definitely not a weasel. The vegetables as a side so salty, felt like I was eating a block of salt. The beef tagliata, so veiny and boarder like inedible, I think only a starving fox would be satisfied with this meat. Half had to be left. The French fries looked dryer than the Sahara desert, definately not fresh. The salad never arrived and they tried to charge us for it. When I raised this while paying the bill the waitress did not care. At all. Seemed like she wanted us to get out more than caring about us as paying customers. Don’t come here. Save your money.

12/06/2026: We were truly captivated by Borgo Vescine. It's a wonderful place, immersed in the beauty of Tuscany, where we felt welcomed and pampered from the very first moment. Everything was simply perfect: the property, the staff, the service, the food, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail. Every experience we had here exceeded our expectations and made our stay truly special. If we had to make one wish, we would have loved to hear a little more Italian spoken around us, because we deeply love this language and the authentic Italian spirit. But this in no way diminished the magic of our stay. We recommend Borgo Vescine wholeheartedly and are certain we will return again. 12/06/2026: Wow. Borgo Vescine was the highlight of our trip to Italy! The staff was welcoming and accommodating, the room and views are BREATHTAKING, and the opportunities for exploration in and near the property are vast! We did a wine tasting, wine tour, laid by the pool, and attended the Cena in the Piazza (dinner in the square). Everything we did was so well put together! Our tour guides and wine guides were knowledgeable and all food we ate was amazing! We knew it would be beautiful here, but it far exceeded our expectations! The wine was also so great we’re having bottles delivered! Thank you for everything!

01/01/2026: In the magical village of Volpaia, the Osteria offers a refined and elegant atmosphere, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and dishes that showcase local ingredients with a delicately exotic touch that will surprise you. Last but not least, our two dogs were welcomed with joy. We'll definitely be back. Well done, Filippo and Martina!

29/12/2025: Highly recommended. The dishes are exceptional, and you can immediately see the attention to detail (as well as a lot of passion). Bonus: pet-friendly! Our dog, Barolo, was treated like a true prince. If you can, stop by and try the pumpkin buttons!

09/05/2026: In a historic setting, nestled in the cool stone, lies this well-stocked wine bar, which also serves meals. Perfectly prepared dishes and a wide selection of wines by the glass, including exceptional wines that are hard to find.

10/06/2026: Perfect place. The owner is very welcoming and kind. We were 3 couples on motorbikes, we ate delicious food, we drank. We drank 2 bottles of wine and we just wanted to go to sleep.

02/06/2026: Unforgettable handmade pici, superb peposo. Truly excellent cuisine in a truly charming setting. The terrace overlooking Chianti is spectacular.

29/05/2026: Very, very good! The pasta tagliatelle with Tuscan meat Ragu was absolutely deliacous and the truffle with tagliatelle was also perfect!

13/06/2026: Pizza Pie is an excellent pizzeria in Radda in Chianti. We ordered the Napoli pizza, topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, anchovies, and capers, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended !!!

12/06/2026: Let's start with the interminable wait time and the massive amount of oil on the pizza. The pizza is large, so it's a two-person affair. It's more like a crispy piadina disguised as pizza, nothing like real pizza. The chili pepper oil is completely lacking in chili pepper. They're not very hygienic and professional as they knead the dough without gloves, and there was a fly circling the pizzas ready to be baked. The older man working with the girls touched my glass to move it (without asking) before bringing the pizza—a huge lack of politeness, as well as a lack of communication, hospitality, and flavor. The only positive note is the homemade meloncello offered, which is truly worth it. The clean bathroom has hand sanitizer. A large Margherita, a Sprite, a small draft beer, and two seats for €30 is way too much! The cover charge is €2.50 per person, including a huge pizza board without plates! (Very inconvenient). I'll never go back. (Unknown why they press the pizza dough)

04/07/2026: We ended up visiting Lo Sdrucciolo twice during our stay in Radda, and we'd happily go back again. If you're in town, this is the perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail before dinner. The cocktail menu has plenty of great options, and they also have a full bar if you're looking for something specific. We stopped in around aperitivo time, and the complimentary snacks were a great touch and paired perfectly with our drinks. What really made this place stand out was the atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Their English was excellent, which made ordering easy, and it was fun watching locals gather here in the evenings—it felt like a true neighborhood spot. Even if the tables are full, it's worth grabbing a drink and enjoying it on the nearby benches with everyone else. We didn't have a full meal here, so I can't comment on the food, but for cocktails, service, and atmosphere, this place was one of our favorite stops in town. Highly recommended if you're visiting Radda in Chianti.
