04/08/2024: Disastrous experience. Unworthy of Italy. Very poorly received by a rude, unsympathetic character. Very basic charcuterie plancha, with tasteless head cheese and large pieces, no mixed plancha, hyperbasic salad, served without cutlery. the feeling of being annoying. When you don't like serving customers that much, you do another job.

16/08/2024: Restaurant located in the beautiful location of Borgo San Luigi. This is already a huge plus because it is a paradise, in every sense. The restaurant is large and meals can be consumed both inside and outside, by the pool. We had the opportunity to dine by the pool several times and the atmosphere is magical, romantic (by candlelight) and relaxing. Very kind staff, who pamper the customer in every way, giving relevant advice and directions.
Let's move on to the food... what can I say: excellent. Part of the products offered are of their own production. In general the raw materials are of excellent quality. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, starting from the cooking of the food to the plating. I tasted several first and second courses, their delicious bruschetta as a starter and desserts. The pici cacio e pepe is highly recommended, they are superb. The ribeye with rocket and parmesan is delicious, as is the fillet flavored with thyme. How to close the meal? Don't miss their chocolate cake or the wonderful berry cheesecake in a glass🤩 Their portions are satisfying. Clearly the bill isn't the cheapest, but it's worth it.
08/06/2024: Beautiful food, delicious cocktails (especially the Hugo spritz that has local lavender and herbs), lovely setting and excellent service.

09/07/2024: We had made a reservation through TheFork and our reservation was confirmed the day before our scheduled dinner. However, when we got there, the place was completely closed up with no sign of life. I called the number and there was no answer. This was very disappointing as our entire party was really looking forward to Sampling what we had was traditional delicious Tuscan cuisine.
Fortunately, some nice local residence directed us to Ristorante Ostello. We did not have a reservation there, of course, but they were able to squeeze us in and we had an exceptional experience.
15/05/2024: We organized our wedding dinner at Casalta. Everything was perfect! From start to finish. So I recommend this restaurant not only for high quality lunches and dinners, but also for private events and parties. A big "thank you" to Tommaso and Valeria, and to all the staff, for the fantastic work done!

12/08/2024: Excellent value for money. The food is very good, the garden beautiful and prices very reasonable. Only the service is a bit slow, it feels like 2 ppl is not enough for this amount of tables. But it’s also a good occasion to sit back and just enjoy the evening without being in a hurry.

21/08/2024: Di passaggio durante una vacanza, abbiamo trovato questo agriturismo a menu fisso onesto nel prezzo, buono nella qualità e soprattutto con personale molto gentile, cosa rara da trovare per noi che veniamo dalla Liguria ....
Menù non troppo abbondante nel numero di portate (1 antipasto con piccoli assaggini, 1 primo 1 secondo 1 dolce) ma esci comunque sazio e tutto di ottima qualità...
20/08/2024: Ho cenato con la mia famiglia. Location molto carina.
Cibo niente di che.
Personale assolutamente da sostituire.

03/07/2024: Infallibile nel format, nella sostanza...in tutto. Sapori, profumi, gusti di un tempo, della tradizione, del territorio...rivisti, rivisitati e riprodotti dallo Chef Samuele Bravi in maniera ineccepibile. Sala diretta magistralmente dal maitre sommelier Nicola Saporito in grado di saper consigliare abbinamenti ad ogni portata. Futura Osteria un porto sicuro, un approdo enogastronomico certo in un panorama culinario di grandissima incertezza ed inconsistenza. Bravissimi e complimenti.
10/06/2024: Great spot! Didn’t look like much from the outside, but it is very charming on their patios. The owners are lovely and the food was very good. Portions are small, but healthy services is good and friendly. Food is very authentic. We had just done a very long hike on the Frangigena trail So we were dressed casually to say the least. And felt comfortable.

Trilogy Bar Belverde

04/07/2024: I gave one star because you can't give 0 with Google. "Bar" if that's what it says it should be called, is located in Belvedere, a strategic position for those who live there. The first time I entered this "bar" it was well managed and the prices were reasonable, but now a piece of bread with a bit of salami for €3.50 seems like a scam to me. Now the bar has become very expensive and I prefer to go to the coop. I don't think it's legal to sell a single pack of tissues for 80 cents because if you read the package underneath it says: Not sold individually. In May I returned to this "bar" with some friends of mine, we asked the price of an aperitif and when the lady told us the price we took it and went to the penny (supermarket nearby), we bought Aperol and various snacks.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO PAY THAT MUCH FOR FOOD 😡🤬.

Very kind staff.
Functional for the inhabitants of the area.
At the bus stop exit, very convenient.

27/08/2023: We had dinner at the garden section of the Ristorante, which is situated a bit aside from the hustle and bustle of the main square and is quite nice. Kudos to the kitchen. The tuna carpaccio was fantastic. The Chianti classico was a real treat. The music in the garden was also very fine jazz and R&B.
But the service was very disappointing and unprofessional imho. At first the chief waiter was very friendly, but when we ordered only 1 dish and a glass of wine per person (we had a very late lunch just 3 hours before and were not hungry at all) he became irritated and allowed himself to comment on our choice, so we could hear him. Then at one point 3 different waiters at intervals of 15 minutes came one after the other to ask us whether we had finished our dinner. I even made a bet when the next one will come with the same question and I guessed correctly.
I left them a generous tip only because the food and wine were great. But the chief waiter was a real disappointment.
Otherwise I recommend the place, just be sure to order a lot of food not to make them feel offended :)
