04/05/2025: Absolute perfection from start to finish. We came here last July and still talk about it. Our favorite meal and restaurant we’ve ever been to and can’t wait to go back.

29/03/2025: I returned to them last night: the last time I had been to their historic location in the centre. The new restaurant is beautiful both inside and out and is also interesting on an engineering level. Coming to the point, after having tried many other starred ones, I can affirm that the Arnolfo experience surpasses even that of the most renowned in the world. I tried the vegetarian menu, intrigued by the proposal: it was absolutely up to par. Giovanni Trovato deserves a special mention, for his extraordinary ability to welcome "guests" and tell them about Arnolfo's evolution; Giovanna, for her professionalism and empathy in the room; Alessandro for the time dedicated to explaining the cheese selection trolley. The cellar and the precious advice of the sommelier are surprising. But thanks also go to everyone else, by whom we felt truly pampered.

16/05/2025: We ate for lunch. Everything was delicious! Pici with crunchy breadcrumbs and stracciatella ravioli with pistachio pesto and shrimp, fried calamari. One dish better than the other! The dessert - semifreddo with salted caramel brittle is a spectacle!! If you pass by those parts I recommend you try it. Highly recommended!!!

25/05/2025: After returning from my trip and spending 17 days in Italy, I can say that I ate the best cacio e pepe pasta. The texture of the pasta, flavor and presentation of the dish were excellent. The service was good. We recommend the restaurant.

01/05/2025: Excellent food! We recommend this restaurant, typical and very nice. We had a great meal and the staff are really friendly. We recommend the appetizer with chicken livers, amazing! The homemade desserts are also very good (the cheesecake is very good). When we pass through here we will definitely be back!

26/05/2025: For me, Antica Trattoria in Colle di Val d'Elsa is the epitome of an excellent restaurant in Tuscany. Eating at this restaurant is like 'eating like God in Italy'. The menu features a variety of typical Tuscan dishes that you rarely find elsewhere. The ribollita is the best between Florence and Siena, and Enrico's tartare is impressively refined. The entire menu is accompanied by wines of the highest quality. Everything about this restaurant is just right. It has a cozy atmosphere and friendly service, and sometimes the setting makes you feel as if you're in one of Federico Fellini's best films. Enrico and Luciana Paradisi, along with their daughter Christiana, are excellent hosts. It is also the best value for money that I have found in Tuscany. I have been eating at this restaurant for 25 years and have never been disappointed. The menu offers a variety of typical Tuscan dishes that are difficult to find. The ribolita is the migliore tra Firenze and Siena, while the tartare of Enrico is raffinata al punto giusto. The intero menu is accompanied by wine of high quality. It's perfect in this restaurant. The atmosphere is accompaniment, the cordial service and the ambient atmosphere are similar to the famous films of Federico Fellini. Enrico and Luciani Paradiesi, with the figure of Christiana, are also the fathers of the house. This is perfect and it also has a better quality report - before it was born in Tuscany. 23/05/2025: During my experience I encountered serious hygiene problems, finding worms inside the food. In addition, I witnessed a worrying scene with the owner lying on the floor in an apparent state of overdose. I strongly advise against this place. If you are looking for a place to eat, I suggest you go elsewhere, perhaps to a trusted kebab shop.

25/04/2025: We found this pizzeria by chance and can highly recommend it. We received a very friendly and courteous welcome with our dog. As a “greeting from the kitchen” the boss served us foccacia with prosciutto crudo. Crispy and very tasty! Our pizzas were also nice and crispy, with thin dough and well topped. There was also a fruity limoncello on the house. Thank you!!! We'd love to come back!

18/04/2025: A charming boutique hotel in a beautiful location, a relatively short driving distance from several attractions. We arrived with three little ones, we took a suite which was pleasant and we really enjoyed our stay!

10/05/2025: La location si presenta calda e accogliente. Peccato per un odore sgradevole di fogna all'ingresso, probabilmente dovuto a una situazione momentanea. Il personale è preparato, gentile, professionale e attento. Il servizio è ben organizzato, con una buona descrizione e presentazione dei piatti, curate e coinvolgenti. È però mancata la descrizione del vino, probabilmente per una semplice dimenticanza. Il menù è ben studiato, con una prevalenza di piatti di carne ma anche alcune proposte di pesce. Manca però attenzione verso le esigenze di vegetariani e vegani. Bella la carta dei vini con diverse proposte. La qualità dei piatti è buona: lo spaghetto era ben pensato ed equilibrato, anche se nel mio caso un po' d’olio in eccesso; il polpo leggermente duro e gommoso, buono il complesso; perfetto invece la mousse di ricotta, un dolce tra i più buoni provati, equilibrato e ben realizzato. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è corretto per il tipo di proposta.

06/05/2025: Very disappointing. We had spontaneously reserved a dinner and received a very quick response, which made us very happy. Unfortunately, we accidentally chose the wrong restaurant as there was another Il Fratoio at our holiday resort. A waiter from our restaurant explained the situation to them over the phone and we also apologized via email. Unfortunately we have never received a reply since then, but the EUR 150 fee was charged. Of course it's your own fault and you'll be informed of it when booking, but I would have hoped and given such good reviews of the restaurant that they would be a little more accommodating or at least respond to my email. When I visited Tuscany, I would have liked to put this restaurant on my next wish list, but that's been crossed out. I find something like that a bit thin.
