05/10/2025: A five-star experience, and it couldn't be otherwise. Top-notch cuisine, in a location whose architecture alone makes it worth a visit. Unfortunately, the chef wasn't there the night of our dinner; we would have happily conveyed our compliments to him verbally. The staff was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Recommended!

18/01/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance and without a reservation, right in the middle of a packed lunch. They welcomed me without any problems, and since I just wanted a quick bite to eat before heading out, they were very quick in taking my order and serving it. I had a herb-filled steak; it was perfectly cooked, well-flavored with the herbs, and a good portion. However, I felt the quality of the meat wasn't top-notch, as it was a bit tough and took a lot of chewing, despite being perfectly cooked. Alongside, I had roast potatoes, also a good portion, perfectly cooked and very, very good. On a positive note, the bread was good, and so was the oil they serve, which was really good quality. Looking at the tables nearby, I realized that, when the place is full, the service can be a bit slow and distracted, but oh well, you have to relax at the table! Furthermore, reading their menu and philosophy, as well as seeing the dishes, I think their strong points are the appetizers and especially the first courses; all homemade. Even the "cooked" second courses are probably better than the grilled ones. Definitely a place worth saving and returning to when you're in the area. The prices are fair, on average, lower than many others in the area. What a discovery!!!

Not only with their courtesy, but also with the excellent and carefully prepared food. The place is cozy, and it's truly a pleasure to be there. Thank you for everything.

21/01/2026: Oste di Borgo is a wonderful, intimate little osteria. The limited seating ensures a quiet yet warm, home-like atmosphere. The quality of the dishes is truly top-notch, especially the cardoon tart and the cacio e pepe pici with crispy cavolo nero and lemon zest. Highly recommended!

Super-light dough and top-quality ingredients with combinations that blend tradition with innovation. Very welcoming staff, well-kept atmosphere (personally, I would have liked a few more degrees). 10/03/2026: Il Barone is truly a wonderful discovery! The pastry shop offers a wide selection of desserts, all fresh and of excellent quality. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, it's close to the road and parking is a bit limited, but the desserts are definitely worth it. Perfect for breakfast, a quick snack, or a break during the day!

29/10/2025: The farmhouse is located in a very relaxing spot. The access road is a bit bumpy, perhaps due to recent rains. The apartment is spacious, warm, comfortable, and fully equipped: two TVs, a pellet stove, air conditioning, and a large kitchen. The staff was very kind, accommodating my breakfast needs. The breakfast was good. I recommend it for a relaxing holiday in nature, also taking advantage of their lovely restaurant.

04/03/2026: We stumbled upon Gimmy Giò almost by chance for lunch and were so delighted that we decided to return for dinner, turning the evening into a special moment. Lunch was a true treat: a minestrone soup with rice that smelled of home, followed by tender meat pizzaiola with chickpeas and potatoes. A genuine meal that immediately convinced us of the quality of the ingredients. For dinner, we returned with a dear family friend, who moved to Bucine three years ago with his partner: it was the perfect place to gather around excellent food. We started with a rich appetizer, then moved on to a perfectly cooked grilled meat, served with mixed vegetables, potatoes, and flavorful chickpeas. We finished on a high note with the inevitable cantucci biscuits and Vin Santo, chatting in a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Michele and his staff were exceptionally welcoming at both times of the day: courtesy, prompt service, and a warm welcome that makes you feel part of the family. If you're looking for authentic Tuscan cuisine in Colle Val d'Elsa, Gimmy Giò is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

08/12/2025: Fantastic! We stayed at the property for two nights. The room was wonderful, with a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The food was superb, from the breakfast buffet to dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and were more than happy to answer all our questions about the food and wines. From the property, you can also admire a breathtaking view of the valleys. There's a large parking lot just past the pool, which is safe and very convenient if you're traveling by car.

20/12/2025: Finally, a restaurant serving typical Tuscan cuisine—good, and without too much fuss. The all-you-can-eat formula, applied to a traditional menu, is perfect, allowing for unlimited choices of appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Excellent service, friendly, and cheerful staff. The location is beautiful, an old mill with barrel vaults. We'll be back!

02/01/2026: I rarely write reviews, but the guys here deserve praise. The place was fully booked, but we arrived at 7:00, and they offered us a table to be vacated by 8:30. We ordered four pizzas, one red for a 5-year-old. The pizza was slightly imperfect (a small hole in the center...an imperceptible thing), but without a word, they made another. Obviously, the kid couldn't even finish the first one, but they gave us a takeaway box. In addition to this act of kindness and professionalism, all the pizzas were excellent, generous with toppings and cooked to perfection. We went to pay, and the price was more than fair. If I didn't live a 2.5-hour drive away, it would be my new favorite pizzeria. Congratulations, truly. If I could, I'd give it 20 stars.

02/12/2025: Tenuta di Mensanello is much more than a farmhouse. It's a small, enchanting hamlet run with passion, expertise, and professionalism. The restaurant is excellent, with a wide selection of local products. The wines are also excellent, and the staff are wonderful. It's also suitable for families with children, thanks to the pool and games available.
