12/07/2026: Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the service, and especially the food. Absolutely not to be missed if you're passing through the Val d'Orcia. The first courses, in particular, are truly spectacular.

05/07/2026: Very good food and a quiet place to spend a lovely evening. We ordered a platter of house specialties, accompanied by an excellent red wine. Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely return if we have the chance to pass through Castiglione d'Orcia again. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

19/05/2026: Excellent osteria, homemade pasta, wild boar, typical local flavors and wines. The food was excellent. Marcello was an excellent waiter and host, but...at least the bitter aftertaste after a hearty dinner where the guests spared no expense is offered...

16/04/2026: I stopped at this osteria for one night during a business trip, and I must say it was a truly pleasant discovery. The atmosphere is welcoming and well-kept, and immediately conveys a sense of family warmth that makes you feel at ease from the first moment. The rooms are spotless, tidy, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail and care for guests is clearly evident. A special thanks goes to the owner, Anna, a wonderful person: kind, helpful, and always ready to make everyone feel at home. Her hospitality truly makes the difference. If you're passing through, whether for business or pleasure, this is definitely a place I recommend without hesitation!

07/06/2026: A little gem in Bagni San Filippo that we happened across for lunch. The service is great, the pizza and pasta is delicious and really reasonably priced, the cans of coke were icy cold, and same with the water. We sat outside and couldn't smell the sulphur from the local hot springs. 5* 🥰

05/07/2026: We stayed at this hotel for one night after a day exploring the Assisi area. We were given the opportunity to dine in the restaurant opposite the hotel, and we had a wonderful time: the parmigiana with the typical Cannara onions is a must-try! The rooms are very charming and offer all the comforts you could need. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home. The spa, for couples, is a bargain and includes a Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, and sauna. It's highly recommended after a day of constant walking, especially with one of the excellent herbal teas provided. Breakfast features many local artisanal products; although not a huge selection, I found it very good and well-prepared. In short, if you want to unwind, escape the chaos of the city, and dine with a beautiful view of the Umbrian hills, you've come to the right place.

08/05/2026: A stop on the Via Francigena, nine of us dined here and ordered several different dishes, and everything was delicious! The husband and wife team take care of everything themselves; the pasta and desserts are homemade. Don't miss the Ricciolina cake and the caramelized pear in crème brulee.

28/04/2026: We arrived in Castiglione d'Orcia almost by chance while wandering through the beautiful Val d'Orcia, and this place immediately struck us from the outside. We passed the tobacconist's bar to enter the dining room, furnished in perfect osteria style. The smiling and friendly waitress welcomed us and recommended the dishes. We chose a Tuscan platter for two and six assorted crostoni (the one with melted Pescia cheese and truffle was my favorite), all washed down with an excellent craft beer. Price: €35 for two. I'd say the price was also very good. If you're passing by...stop by!!!!
