12/07/2026: Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the service, and especially the food. Absolutely not to be missed if you're passing through the Val d'Orcia. The first courses, in particular, are truly spectacular.
05/07/2026: Very good food and a quiet place to spend a lovely evening.
We ordered a platter of house specialties, accompanied by an excellent red wine. Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely return if we have the chance to pass through Castiglione d'Orcia again.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

19/05/2026: Excellent osteria, homemade pasta, wild boar, typical local flavors and wines. The food was excellent. Marcello was an excellent waiter and host, but...at least the bitter aftertaste after a hearty dinner where the guests spared no expense is offered...
16/04/2026: I stopped at this osteria for one night during a business trip, and I must say it was a truly pleasant discovery.
The atmosphere is welcoming and well-kept, and immediately conveys a sense of family warmth that makes you feel at ease from the first moment. The rooms are spotless, tidy, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail and care for guests is clearly evident.
A special thanks goes to the owner, Anna, a wonderful person: kind, helpful, and always ready to make everyone feel at home. Her hospitality truly makes the difference.
If you're passing through, whether for business or pleasure, this is definitely a place I recommend without hesitation!

07/06/2026: A little gem in Bagni San Filippo that we happened across for lunch. The service is great, the pizza and pasta is delicious and really reasonably priced, the cans of coke were icy cold, and same with the water. We sat outside and couldn't smell the sulphur from the local hot springs.

08/05/2026: A stop on the Via Francigena, nine of us dined here and ordered several different dishes, and everything was delicious! The husband and wife team take care of everything themselves; the pasta and desserts are homemade. Don't miss the Ricciolina cake and the caramelized pear in crème brulee.

02/04/2025: Wonderful. New management, new name: CONTRASTI: molecular kitchen. The owner or chef Christian was very attentive, and everything was delicious, a fantastic bread and all food.! I would like to go back to try the tasting menu!
24/03/2025: Non posso fare una recensione sul cibo, però posso dire che sono stati veramente scortesi, perchè dopo aver telefonato più volte per confermare prenotazione inviato messaggi, arrivati davanti al ristorante di sabato sera alle 20:00 ristorante chiuso, ci possono essere milioni di motivi per tenere chiuso, ma obbligo avvertire le persone con la prenotazione, comportamento non accettabile, senza alcun rispetto.

20/06/2025: Scappate via, due panini di gusto mediocre un hamburger e patatine acqua e due caffè 60 euro. Ahahah . Si paga il coperto con le tovagliato di carta, acqua in plastica, locale sporco ,buio, caffè bruciato. A chianciano capisco perché non viene più nessuno e tutti i locali chiudono. Una schifezza !

29/11/2024: Cominciamo a dire, sul mangiare nulla da dire ,il proprietario comportamento da primo della classe e che sembra essere l'unico ad avere un ristorante, riguardo al menù proposta fuori menù senza dire i prezzi e con sorpresa finale classico modo per fregare il cliente. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto lei (battuta al coltello prezzo 23€)un secondo io (tagliata alla brace da 250grammi 29€ ) mezzo litro di vino della casa un dolce e basta totale spesa 90€. Un furto. IL MIO CONSIGLIO È DI STARCI LONTANO. ci sono ristoratori onesti ma questa persona rovina la categoria.
04/11/2024: Location eccezionale, cibo ottimo, disponibilità e cortesia del personale. Tutto perfetto eccetto il prezzo! Per quanto il ristorante sia valido, i prezzi sono spropositati, non semplicemente più alti della media... abbiamo mangiato benissimo, ma si trovano altri ristoranti di simile qualità, magari con porzioni più generose, a prezzi alti ma decisamente più bassi che qui.

01/03/2025: Una tana molto carina, con decorazioni particolari nel suo genere.
Abbiamo potuto gustare dei piatti tipici di differenti paesi come la carne argentina e i burritos accompagnati da birra alla spina ottime.
