14/03/2026: The place presents itself as a simple, down-to-earth trattoria, so I expected something straightforward, with medium-to-high quality and prices proportionate to the setting.
I ordered spaghetti allo scoglio and half a portion of seafood salad… help! The digestion was difficult and, above all, the bill turned out to be quite high for what I ate.
The place itself is very pleasant, informal and unpretentious, but the final price is not really in line with that style.
A pity, because you would expect better quality and more consistency between the type of restaurant and the bill.

07/12/2025: An excellent seafood restaurant. Excellent value for money. The only thing to note about the menu is that it's not very varied. We've been dining at Trinchetto quite frequently for several years, but the dishes have remained virtually unchanged. The restaurant is small but well-maintained.

28/02/2026: What can I say... much has already been written... à la carte menu and two set menus. Simple yet tasteful atmosphere. Courteous service and tasty, well-presented dishes. My wife, a seafood lover... The moment we left the restaurant, we said: We have to go back! Thank you AAA+++
17/02/2026: The restaurant is small but welcoming. The food is really good, based on seafood, with generous portions and great prices. The waiters are helpful and courteous. I booked before going because it's hard to find a table, especially on weekends. Recommended.

06/04/2026: We had lunch today, Easter Monday, for four of us. Everything in Viareggio was full; we were wrong not to book on a day like today, but at Bagno Irene they tried to accommodate us. They had a set menu with a choice of two first courses and two second courses, and for the price, I have to say everything was just right in quantity and excellent. I asked for my mixed fried fish to be unsalted, and they accommodated that as well. The staff was very busy for the day, but helpful. Definitely recommended.
