01/08/2024: Well organized and quiet bathroom. Friendly managers and customers both on the beach and at the bar-restaurant and competitive prices. Well-spaced tents and umbrellas. Cabins with shower, hairdryer, coat hanger and mirror. 14 tents with 2 sunbeds, 2 deckchairs, armchair and table each. Nar and restaurant under new management. On mid-August aperitif for everyone.

03/08/2024: Ice cream shop on the opposite side of the Viareggio seafront. Small place with not too many flavors, but all delicious. The excellent salted caramel, the incredible chocolate! But they are all worth trying for a sweet and unforgettable break! Average prices. Definitely coming back

30/07/2024: Nice food and a good atmosphere in the restaurant. Very nice burgers and choice. Upon arrival there appeared to be some technical issues and the brunette girl was not very friendly which we thought was due to the technical issues (never fun). The Ginger (red) haired waitress was really nice, helpful and had fun with the customers. When dealing with the brunette again upon leaving she was still very moody/rude, so not a great experience for customers as first or last impressions. All in all, a nice meal but we almost walked out upon our first contact.

18/08/2024: Perfect street food. Very, very good quality, really very fine ingredients and workmanship. I think the price is absolutely justified. Delicious. Nice boss. Good places to sit outside. If you want to eat something quick, tasty and high quality, then you've come to the right place. We'll definitely be back. Grazie mille.

15/08/2024: Must Try!! The eighth sin is incredibly good. Bacon freshly cut, burger meat is fresh and cooked rare. The focaccia bread is crispy and fluffy. Super unique and delicious, one of favourite meals in Tuscany. It's a bit expensive, but the portions are huge, and filling!

27/08/2024: I went a few years later for my sister-in-law's birthday party. The place is nice with a terrace overlooking the sea, excellent air on summer evenings. Mainly I believe that the place was created for an aperitif or aperitif in case of special parties. On the terrace there is musical entertainment, perfect for after dinner but intrusive during dinner, music too loud, you can't understand anything when you talk to the person next to you. Mainly we ate a classic platter with some cold cuts, of which the raw one was not particularly appreciated by some diners, it had a strange taste and smell, accompanied by some bruschetta, olives, mozzarella, cheese and hot focaccia. Good fried pasta, with grilled sausage and chips. The two first courses, half sleeves with ragù, paccheri with fish sauce, inedible, practically raw, put on and take off immediately. A note also on the ragù, it had a slightly acidic flavour. The sore point were the bathrooms. If you don't want to catch illnesses, avoid going, something beyond all logic, it felt like walking on a floor of urine, not to mention the rest. My husband had to use paper just to touch the handle. People suck and we know this, but there should be greater attention from the venue. From midnight the place fills up, chaotic and long queues at the checkout. Nice for a quick drink, for me to stay in short. Friendly and helpful staff and owner.

27/08/2024: Good and plentiful dishes, fair price. Location in a strategic area, practically a stone's throw from the beach (the TOP! dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea). However, in my opinion, the service needs to be reviewed, with delays and oversights

26/07/2024: Ero stata già 2 volte in questo ristorante e mi ero trovata bene. La posizione è molto bella e suggestiva. Peccato che i prezzi siano aumentati parecchio rispetto alla qualità del cibo che invece è peggiorata.

16/07/2024: Locale all’interno claustrofobico, soffitto basso e tavoli piccoli e attaccati l’uno all’altro, tanto che mettono un piccolo tavolino accanto, da condividere con altri commensali, su cui appoggiano pane e bottiglie. Ci sono tavoli all’esterno sul molo più spaziosi, ma difficilmente prenotabili. Personale di base abbastanza gentile, ma molto sbrigativo. Quello che non trovo assolutamente tollerabile è che alla richiesta di 3 primi differenti (eravamo 3 commensali) ci sia stato detto che non era possibile preparare più di due primi diversi, per cui ho dovuto mangiare un primo uguale a quello di mio figlio. Abbiamo preso 2 antipasti misti (discreti), anche se non ci è stato descritto di cosa si trattavano gli assaggi. Sono arrivati poi i tonnarelli allo scoglio (pasta fatta in casa buona) con cozze e vongole, le quali erano per la maggior parte ancora chiuse ed erano minuscole. Abbiamo dovuto richiedere un piatto per i gusci e salviette umide per pulire le mani, che non ci erano state portate. Abbiamo visto poi portare a un altro tavolo di turisti stranieri una pasta allo scoglio con vongole e cozze già sgusciate… Come dessert tortino dal cuore caldo ma senza interno morbido e molto asciutto. Credo che Viareggio offra locali con una qualità del pesce analoga, se non migliore, a prezzi onesti, in location e con servizio decisamente migliori. Non ci torneremo più!

21/06/2024: Cliente da diversi anni dove avevamo trovato un punto di riferimento e di qualità dove le materie prime erano di qualità e i piatti ricercati e presentati con arte, oggi è divenuto dozzinale e veramente scarso.

07/08/2024: Uno dei migliori gelati della città, servito sempre col sorriso. Un posto come questo nel quartiere fa la differenza. Le mie nipoti ci sono cresciute con il loro gelato ed é sempre un bel momento andarne a prendere uno insieme.

25/08/2024: We are trying various pastry shops in Viareggio, at the moment this one really seems to be the best. We have already bought two cakes, one with chocolate and another with apples, both amazing.

23/08/2024: Staff at the counter very rude, neither a smile nor a greeting. Low-leavened brioches and tarts with almost raw shortcrust pastry. The cappuccino was served to me piping hot.

25/05/2024: Ho fatto tappa fissa in questa che non posso solo definire una pasticceria gelateria , ma un qualcosa di incantevole, siamo stati a Massarosa per girare un po’ Lucca, Viareggio e posti lì vicini ed ho fatto delle colazioni meravigliose, c era una ragazza bionda Cristina che tra l’altro molto ospitale e gentile che per ogni giorno ci consigliava di provare cose diverse credo che grazie a te io abbia preso su qualche chilo!!! 🤣🤣ma sei stata impeccabile quindi lo consiglio vivamente 😘💋

06/07/2024: I visited this restaurant twice at the end of June 2024. This restaurant is visited mostly by locals, and has excellent quality food, but reasonable prices. It is not one of the polished restaurants that you will find on the marina, but the food was extremely good. I had fritto misto, and it was tasty, not oily and reasonabily priced. The first time we were sitting on a balcony, on the second floor, not visible from the road. A quiet place. the second time under a marque on the road. a pleasant place surprisingly quiet. The owners were very friendly, as were the waitresses. I would certianly return and have lunch here.
