16/09/2025: It has "Gourmet Street Food" in its name. It has nothing to do with gourmet. I had a "Würstel" (sausage). The dish could more accurately be described as a "Wiener in a dressing gown." Unfortunately, the dish was burnt. Something like that would have to be returned. The 0.3-liter beer cost 6 euros. Good restaurants are often cheaper. So, stay away.

07/09/2025: First time. Tiny takeout shop with a fabulous menu: incredibly original and delicious sandwiches. We tried the Vizio Gola with Chianina tuna, and Ira with zucchini flowers and orange zest, and... we decided to return to try the others. The owner is friendly and very kind. The Avarizia sandwich is brilliant: just bread (which is actually focaccia bread) with nothing inside, obviously extremely cheap! 😁. September 2025: Four years have passed, and we've been back every year (every time we pass through Viareggio), and it has never disappointed us. We'd tried almost all the "Vizi" (and a few small dishes), but never the Ottavo. So this time we try it: you think it's a normal burger, but you immediately realize it's not... Chianina beef burger, salad and cherry tomatoes, thin caciobuffalo cheese, magnificent caramelized Tropea onions, a little bell pepper, and... crispy pancetta, all in "their" special, delicious bread. And nothing... we even "dipped" the sauce left on the menu. Don't be scared by the price, it's worth it! The quality is excellent, the atmosphere small but welcoming, and the owner, Marco, is friendly and very helpful. And if you have to wait... just wait, you won't regret it. P.S. I'm not his sister! 😉

05/01/2026: A pleasant dinner for two. The food was good, with slightly high prices, but the quality justified it: overall, the value was good. Everything we ate was well-prepared. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A positive experience.

22/11/2025: While I was out of the country on vacation I found out that my dog passed away. We decided to stop in here for hookah and a drink. It was exactly what I needed. The service was perfect. They were so nice and helpful. The hookah was great. The drinks were great. We had nice conversation. It was perfect! I would definitely come here again. I hope that I get to. Thank you so much for a nice evening 😊

04/09/2025: The bar is interesting. I only went for the hookah. There's another hookah bar next door, but it was very crowded. I prefer a quiet place, so this was perfect. A good place to relax and enjoy the moment.

05/11/2025: A wonderful discovery, I went back two days later because it's quite a unique place in Italy. The guy is friendly and passionate about what he does, and it shows in the taste!

29/10/2025: Hands down, the best shawarma (and kebab) I've had in Versilia and the surrounding area. The falafel are homemade, as are all the sauces, which were truly spectacular. The guy at the counter was very friendly and kind, and you could tell he cares about serving a quality product that goes far beyond the typical commercial kebab. I'll definitely be back!

28/11/2025: The best coffee in Viareggio, excellent breakfast! The aroma of freshly roasted coffee, made by the charming Alessandro, fills the air. His wife, Valeria, pampers you with a small plate of cold cuts, cheeses, and crostini for an aperitif. The Viareggio I love.

Il fatto che siano anche personalizzabili è un grandissimo valore aggiunto. ​Qualità Superiore: Non è il solito panino. 10/01/2026: Bar Irene is now an institution, and they know how to do it. There are only two problems: 1) the indoor space is practically nonexistent, so there's only outdoor space. 2) people smoke outside, regardless of whether someone is still eating at the next table. If good manners aren't present (i.e., getting up and moving away from the tables), the manager should intervene and allow smoking either outside or on the outdoor terrace. This is the only really annoying thing.

02/01/2026: The staff is incredibly friendly. The location is interesting, right in front of the old market. The music is top-notch. The pastries, appetizers, and coffee are excellent. Everything feels like a harmonious blend of vital elements.
