12/08/2026: Last night in Maremma had a taste of Tuscany. 🇮🇹🌿🥂 We started with fiori di zucca—zucchini flowers, which I adore. 🌸💛 Here they were fried, stuffed with ricotta, and served with anchovies marinated in citrus and aromatic herbs. Tender, crispy, and absolutely addictive. Then came gamberi rossi 🦐 and my discovery of the evening—gnudi di ricotta e bietoline with vongole and tomatoes. Gnudi is one of those wonderful Italian ideas that sounds simple but tastes exceptional. They're essentially "naked" ravioli—a filling of ricotta and green leaves, without the pasta dough, leaving only the soft, tender interior. 🍃 Tuscany at its most beautiful: ricotta, herbs, sea, tomatoes, and a touch of simplicity. For the second course, delicate fish with zucchini, zucchini blossom, and a green, herbal sauce. 🐟🌿 And of course, Vermentino 🥂, and to finish: Mirek — tiramisù ☕️🤎 Me — passion fruit sorbet with rose petals. 🌹💛 It's evenings like these that I love Italy most. Not just for the food. For the light, the garden, a glass of wine, a long dinner, and that wonderful feeling of not having to rush anywhere. ❤️ 📍 Amorvino, Maremma 🇮🇹

28/07/2026: We entrusted Amorvino with organizing a graduation party, and we couldn't have made a better choice! The atmosphere was welcoming, the buffet was generous and beautifully presented, with great attention to detail. The food was excellent, as was the always prompt service. Thanks to Silvia and Federica for their availability and professionalism; the evening was a complete success!

18/12/2025: One of the best meals we had in Italy served and cooked by one of the best couples we’ve ever met in our life. Roberto and Antonia were so kind and caring when we rudely showed up pretty close to closing time. They gave us an amazing seafood gnocchi that was so fresh and filling and shared some of the evening with us. It was truly an unforgettable night with an unforgettable view.

17/10/2025: Gavorrano, a most beautiful mountain village in Toscanu Italy and the must visit small family restaurant. The most friendly and joyful host and wonderful cookery by his wife. A joyful evening mid October 2025.

09/09/2025: Unfortunately, it was a negative experience. First things first: the pizza was good (although the edges were quite burnt), but with everything else, personally, we're not happy. We arrived here at 8:30 PM, seated under the awning with half the place empty, the rest still waiting to be served. The live music and karaoke were truly annoying; you couldn't talk to or hear the people sitting next to you. Regarding the pizzas, we were told there was "a bit of a wait, if you want to get some fried food in the meantime." We agreed. The fried food (two measly plates) arrived 40 minutes later, and the pizzas arrived at 10:00 PM: unacceptable, especially when there are hungry children who don't know what patience is (we do too, after a certain point). Of course, the staff was also courteous, but there's no way that long a wait can be justified by the fact that their oven is small and management has changed: you have to be able to fulfill orders in a normal timeframe, like all pizzerias do. And I don't accept the phrase "the wait was worth it for the pizza," because there are plenty of equally good pizzerias out there, but they served my pizza after 15 minutes, not after an hour and a half! Sorry, I don't recommend it.

01/09/2025: Good initial welcome, but a 1-hour wait. The octopus appetizer was much more potatoes than octopus, €15, not worth it. The seafood risotto and spaghetti with the same sauce were full of butter. I pointed out that they said the risotto sauce is made with butter, so since I ordered it for spaghetti, it's the same. I've never seen butter in this type of dish. We're sorry, but the experience was negative. In the negative reviews from 2 years ago, you said that criticism helps improve. That doesn't seem to be the case at the moment. We hope so.

10/07/2026: My compliments go to the pizza chef. Super delicious pizza. I have never eaten a pizza like this. The best pizzeria you can find in Gela. I will come back here often.
