23/09/2025: The pizza was delicious and plentiful. The first courses weren't particularly generous, and we recommend sticking to the à la carte menu. If you vary something, you'll be a bit disappointed. Spaghetti with clams and bottarga. We asked to remove the bottarga, and the chef brought us spaghetti with clams without even a sprinkling of parsley and garlic. I understand that we modified the dish, but the foresight to complete it in a different way was lacking. Excellent place, I recommend it.

14/09/2025: It was our fault because we could have predicted the outcome of the dinner from the long wait just to receive the menus, which ended only when we asked. There was also a long wait for the orders: we called them ourselves. We should have run away. The orders were a tragedy: a waiter arrived so confused that it seemed like he was the customer. He didn't know what ingredients were there, how much an add-on cost, he couldn't take the order on the tablet, much less understand what we were asking for—nothing too complex, just not the pizzas on the menu exactly as they were written—for example, we wanted a queen (a red pizza) without tomato sauce, and he had marked a red queen (it's already red!). He ran away, shocked, and sent a colleague, who was more capable, but he still didn't know how much the add-ons cost, and he didn't think to ask, and the ordering system was so flawed that he had to memorize certain information and communicate it verbally. Another forty minutes for the pizzas. They were completely empty: the queen had two cherry tomatoes cut in half, a pizza with truffle had, I think, a teaspoon in total, the vegetables were sliced ​​very thin, like with a potato peeler. The few ingredients that were there were mostly tasteless, like the buffalo mozzarella. The fried food (€19 for fried food) lacked prawns, and the lack was compensated for by chips on the bottom, NOT SPECIFIED ON THE MENU - thank goodness we weren't allergic. Let's talk about the prices: €2.50 for a cover charge and there were paper placemats, luckily there was some bread; adding burrata to the pizza was €3.50, but removing ingredients from the pizzas didn't lower the price, strangely. It was 100% a tourist trap, and they probably mistook us for tourist traps, too, but we frequent this place often and will never return.

14/09/2025: The restaurant is in a good location, but that's the only positive aspect, given that: - The food, while beautiful to look at (sometimes not even that), is subpar: the mozzarella is rubbery, you ask for truffle sauce and it ends up being spit on; the €19 fried dish listed on the menu as "fried calamari and shrimp" arrived, but as soon as it arrived, we discovered they'd covered a lot of potatoes with the fried food, which wasn't even listed on the menu; A white pizza with vegetables for €15 and up... - The service was completely absurd: the first waiter arrived and couldn't take our orders, where we had ordered plain pizzas. He couldn't tell us how much it cost to add burrata to a pizza. He couldn't understand what one of us wanted on the pizza when he simply asked for chopped potatoes on top. He didn't know which fresh vegetables were available as options, and he had marked a pizza we had asked for plain as red. Then, the first waiter called a second waitress who understood much more, but who still couldn't tell us how much the extra cost was for adding other ingredients. I'd also like to mention that we had to call the waiters to order because otherwise they never would have come, and, after ordering, the fried food arrived after 10 minutes, while the pizza took 40. - The cover charge was extremely disappointing, the placemats were outside the school cafeteria, the table was dirty, the bread was probably brought to us because they heard us complaining about it not being brought to us, a fork that was never brought back after it fell—well, that's it.

30/08/2025: Inspired by the positive reviews, we went to get some takeout pizzas for my family. We're Neapolitans and used to good food, so we weren't expecting our pizza... but what we ate wasn't even pizza. Burnt, thin, very salty, and the crust was pale white. An experience to forget.

19/08/2025: For lunch, we had penne allo scoglio and spaghetti alle vongole, which were delicious. To finish, a delicious fried fish dish. Everything was excellent, and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

14/08/2025: A very nice and welcoming place despite its proximity to the road. It has plenty of seating, both inside and out, and a child-friendly garden. The food, especially the fish, is high-quality, and the wait times are reasonable. The owner and staff were very friendly, and even offered a limoncello at the end! A very pleasant experience.

12/09/2025: The week before Ferragosto (August 15th)... I wanted to spend a day at the beach with my grandchildren. From the parking lot, we stumbled upon Tropicana Beach for convenience. I asked if there was a beach umbrella available, and the asking price was €50 for four people. I explained to the lady that it would be fine (even if there were four or five of us in a row), but that there were three of us, plus a four-year-old child and a newborn. With a knowing eye, she told me that I would then have to get two umbrellas for a total of €100 for a day at the beach, and that she couldn't do otherwise out of respect for her customers (,,, even though she explained that my eldest grandchild and I would be spending the whole day playing on the beach). I'm giving it 5 stars because, thanks to the not-so-kind lady's suggestion, we moved two or three beach clubs away, where for €30 we found what we were looking for, and with the €70 saved, we discovered an excellent restaurant (in the same beach club) that made our day even more enjoyable.

19/08/2025: The atmosphere is not bad except for a strong smell of incense, the staff is always very polite and helpful... but the prices are out of proportion we paid €7 for a tiny portion of takeaway chips and it's really a lot.

31/07/2025: Despite spending many summers in Follonica, it was our first time trying this fish and chip shop... and the experience was beyond positive. We ordered fried shrimp and squid to go: good-quality fish, fried to perfection—crispy, dry, and not at all greasy. The staff were friendly and the fresh fish counter was well-stocked, making it a surefire way to return for more to cook at home. A great find!

23/08/2025: We went for dinner during the week, we wanted to book but we were told to go whenever you want with the result that once we arrived it was full but luckily we still managed to sit down, we had half an hour to order the drinks, another half an hour to order the food which in our case was a Florentine steak and another half an hour to be able to eat so terrible service, the Florentine steak was delicious and the price was right but given the wait at least they could have offered the amaro

13/09/2025: Normally zero stars!!!! I can only advise everyone to stay well away from this place. Unfriendly staff, not all items on the menu are actually available, convenience food at inflated prices. The meal for three people came "staggered." My salad was forgotten. As I recall, the inslata mista, consisting of Lidl bags of mixed salad and six halved tomatoes, was slammed next to my now-empty main course plate, naturally without apology. Even our dog, with whom we were supposed to share the "culinary delights," turned away in disgust. All in all, we could have just thrown the money down the drain, and our standards are certainly not high.
