14/09/2025: Friendly staff, when you enter the bar they smile and wish you a good morning. I always order the bomboloni which are delicious, they ask me to sit down and bring everything to my table, for me 5 stars.

18/01/2026: Very nice place, but unfortunately poorly organized. Sunday lunch, reservations for six. There were about 25 customers in the dining room and only one waiter, who, despite his great kindness and courtesy, struggled to keep up with everyone, being alone. My appetizer was served with the main course, which can happen... but I had ordered gnocchi with octopus ragù, and they arrived with squid sauce. I didn't mention anything to the waiter because it was very good anyway, and I didn't want to cause any confusion or further delays. About 50 minutes passed between ordering and the arrival of the first and appetizers, and about another 40 for the main courses. Unfortunately, the wait was very long.

17/10/2025: A Quality Surprise, One Step Away From Perfection I must admit, the somewhat secluded location had made me skeptical. Instead, you're welcomed into a refined and surprisingly peaceful setting, with a beautiful outdoor pergola that promises pleasant moments, far from the chaos. But the cuisine is the true heart of the place. When the spaghetti with clams arrived, the aroma of the sea immediately silenced any doubts. The pasta was cooked impeccably, a perfect contrast between its firmness and the tenderness of the ultra-fresh clams. I looked at my companions and we agreed that they know how to treat fish here. The service proved to be up to par: genuine friendliness, never intrusive but always present, completing a high-quality experience. A trattoria that knows how to win you over.

22/09/2025: We actually had a very good initial impression. However, after our main course, our plates took a very long time to clear. We then had to ask if it was possible to order dessert. Somehow, we had the feeling the staff wanted to close the kitchen as quickly as possible. What a pity! The restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of our accommodation, "Casa Vacanze Bicchi" in Scarlino, who also pointed out that the restaurant offers a 10% discount for guests staying at her accommodation. The restaurant didn't want to hear about this.

14/10/2025: I've been wanting to eat at this wonderful restaurant again for a while (the last time was in March), and today I managed to do so, enthusiastically involving some friends who also love this food. Disappointed by the quality, I still can't believe it. For me, it was one of the best restaurants we've been to—very disappointing.

13/09/2025: I'll just state the facts: 2 adults and 1 child. We ordered 3 fries, a basket of chicken nuggets, two 80cm bruschettas—with two tasty ones, 1 carbonara and 1 capri—two medium beers, and a bottle of water. The bill was €91.50. What we ate was undoubtedly good, but in my opinion, you got a little too big for your boots!!! PS. I was wondering why a place that was always full under the previous management was empty (we and two other tables were there for dinner). Now I understand why.

20/08/2025: Tried for home delivery and was delayed by at least 30 minutes on 2 deliveries. Tried for local pickup and was delayed by at least 15 minutes. Plus, they even made the wrong bruschetta. I won't be returning. I'm replying here since I can't reply to the owner. I didn't come by bike because I don't have one. Evidently, others are complaining too. Mine was the wrong one, since I ordered ham, mushrooms, and cheese, and I received ham, tomato, and cheese. I eat well, but if I pay for a service and I'm not satisfied with it, I'll say so; otherwise, you'll refund me. Best regards

30/10/2025: The restaurant is small and welcoming. The lady who served us was kind and absolutely had no complaints about the quality of the food, which was excellent. However, this wasn't enough to make the evening satisfying: the menu, written on a piece of paper, featured very few dishes at astronomical prices. I understand the quality of the meat and the idea of ​​simple food, but the complete lack of vegetables, the normal portions, the unsolicited wine that we found on the table (and later on the bill), and above all, the lack of a debit card (discovered at the end of the dinner because there was no sign) in no way justify the hefty bill.

21/09/2025: Terrible food, we paid for a set menu that included dry, tasteless, and tough baked pasta that I was afraid would break a tooth. Then they served two slices of roast beef, also dry, which I honestly don't know if they turned out that way from reheating them. A small piece of chicken and a small piece of pork chop, both raw inside. Oh, and yes, the menu listed non-existent potatoes. The waiters were kind, but I think the chef is also the owner, who was very rude. We paid a fixed price and forgot about the potatoes. He wanted to offer me coffee, but so I don't have coffee. I asked for a small piece of dessert and was told that I'll give you a €7 dessert? And he threw €10 at me on the table, which I threw back at him. Then, to top it all off, when we left, I assume the cashier had a questionable attitude, even calling us rude. I won't set foot in there again and I don't recommend it.

The croissants are always fresh from the bakery (NOT defrosted like many other renowned Follonica places), and there's a wide selection of savory items. They're also incredibly fresh. Their courtesy and kindness make you feel at home. I'll continue to have breakfast here!!!
