01/04/2026: Excellent lunch with friends, we booked about a month in advance. My friends really enjoyed the tortelli, but they already knew the place. They were very well prepared for gluten-free dining. I managed to eat a mixed antipasto with gluten-free bagged bread and a well-made first course, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. The sauce was good, and the pasta was well-cooked. If not homemade, buy fresh. I saw they also have gluten-free craft beer in the fridge. The pizza also looked good. Recommended.

31/05/2026: A charming, rustic restaurant. It's reached by a 500-meter dirt road. Local cuisine with generous portions and very fair prices. Service is young, friendly, and fast. Plenty of tables, including outdoor seating under the pergola or in a breezy courtyard with a beautiful view of the wooded hills.
28/05/2026: Beautiful place near the Sambuca Pass. The potato tortelli with ragù are delicious; you can tell they're homemade. I highly recommend making a reservation. Plenty of outdoor seating. Tamara is a legend.

06/04/2026: I returned to Marzano after 20 years, when Grandma Gioconda was still here. Everything has remained the same, but Aia di Martino is the icing on the cake! Authentic flavors, traditional dishes made just as grandma used to make them. Homemade tortelli and ravioli are hard to find anymore. An oasis of peace immersed in nature and with the animals of a real old farm.
09/03/2026: Lunch with friends. Good appetizers: potato ravioli, spinach ravioli with butter and sage. Second course: sliced beef with roast potatoes, a portion of pork rosticciana (sausage and pork steak), a chicken, a rabbit, and roast potatoes. Water and red wine, desserts: coffee and liqueurs. Average. Just over €33.00 per person.

You'll be welcomed by knowledgeable and welcoming staff in a highly refined location, nestled in the charming center of Borgo San Lorenzo.
09/06/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with my wife, trying the tasting menu: carefully prepared dishes, well-executed, and with interesting pairings. The food is truly excellent, with quality ingredients and a cuisine that demonstrates technique and personality.
However, the experience was partially marred by one important aspect: there is no real wine list. You can only drink from the labels selected by the staff, with no independent selection. This is a significant limitation, especially for those who enjoy creating their own food and wine experience or wish to explore a broader selection.
A format that has potential, but one that deserves an overhaul, at least from this perspective.

The wait staff were excellent: kind, courteous, and always attentive. The atmosphere was informal, making us feel right at home!
17/05/2026: The food quality was excellent, but the wait times between courses were unacceptable: we waited almost an hour between the first and second courses.
It was very busy (Sunday lunch), and I completely respect the work of others, but we didn't receive even a half-hearted apology for waiting so long.
Two people at our table received their second courses shortly after us, and after waiting only 15 minutes after the first course.
They probably forgot our order, or something went wrong. I would have expected at least an apology for the wait.
I repeat, I respect the work of others, and I understand that Sunday lunch is very busy.
The food quality was excellent.

01/06/2026: The food and drink are good. It's a shame about those old layabouts who occupy the tables outside without eating, yelling and swearing without the staff ever saying anything, and the dogs making a racket at all hours.
01/01/2026: I bought an artisanal panettone based on its presentation and paid a considerable sum, but the experience was disastrous. Once we cut it, we discovered that the panettone was completely burned inside. The worst thing, however, wasn't the baking error (which can happen), but the fact that it was deliberately covered in icing to hide the burnt appearance and still market it as a premium product.
I find this behavior unprofessional and highly disrespectful to customers. Selling an inedible product at a high price, trying to hide its defects, is unacceptable. I hope management pays more attention to quality and, above all, transparency. Not recommended.
