21/05/2024: Tried to order a pizza for 2 people, but it was not possible. Seems the policy of the restaurant is that the pizza can’t be shared.

21/05/2024: We were not welcomed good since the entrance in the restaurant. We thought that we could just order and have a seat. They said that it will be an extra charge(as expected since we are in Italy). We accepted and said it was ok, but then they started to serve texts like that they have to see if they have places reserved, to find us a place to stay(2 persons). Also the waiter mentioned a policy that they have: no shared pizza. When we heard, we totally refused to stay for 1 more minute and left for another restaurant.

07/04/2024: There is a very wide choice of sandwiches, the standard variants of which cost 7 euros. Everything is freshly prepared and despite the crowds, the service is fast. There are some seats available upstairs. I recommend that you go early around opening time, because there is often a reasonable queue around 12:30. But the wait is definitely worth it. The sandwiches are delicious and if you are looking for a quick, affordable and tasty option then you should definitely go here.

06/04/2024: Divine Schiacciata, with incredibly good wild boar salami, Tuscan pecorino and dried tomatoes, one of the best Schiacciata I have ever eaten. Super friendly staff (they let me try a slice of salami and some Tuscan pecorino, obviously free) and helpful, and prices are normal. I will definitely go back

01/04/2024: Made a reservation via email and received confirmation. Upon arrival, the attendant behind the bar did not acknowledge receipt and falsely pretended to shuffle thru a few notebook pages as we watched for a length time. Ultimately took a look around, saw empty tables and decided to head elsewhere given the lack of courtesy. Place looked tight and stuffy inside and came off as a tourist trap given the proximity to the museum. Would not recommend.

02/04/2024: We passed by the restaurant by chance during a trip to Florence and we were immediately impressed. Cozy place, attentive service and excellent food. If you want to eat a perfectly cooked Florentine steak, this is the ideal place. We will definitely be back.

01/04/2024: It was an amazing dinner! Everything was perfect starting from the service, food and staff( were really professional). The restaurant was a mix of classy&traditional and I loved it. I will come back again.

03/04/2024: Went there for lunch and there happened to be no one there, so we reserved the place. It’s great to be able to eat directly looking at the church! The pasta is really delicious. Regarding the steak 🥩, adding olive oil is unexpectedly very satisfying. Of course the steak is also delicious, but my steak 🥩 was about 96 euros after weighing. Two people spent a total of 123 yuan. Overall, I don’t regret it. I will eat here next time and will be willing to return and recommend friends to eat here.

15/05/2024: Just had a great meal here. Went with two of my friends. We each ordered a pasta dish and two of us also ordered mains. We all enjoyed our dishes. We would highly recommend the truffle tortellini and the ragu tortelli for the primi course and the rabbit wraps for secondi. We also loved the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse with pear. As a side note, a large group of Americans came in and all ordered burgers. They were turning their noses up at the burgers because they were not cooked well done and sent them back. If you are a tourist here, order some of the local food. Why travel across the Atlantic just to order what you could have at home? I’m sure the burger here is good but please don’t order it—the pasta and Italian dishes here are seriously second to none. Also, we had fun trying out Italian phrases with the waiters. They were very excited when my friend used the phrase “molto buono” to describe his meal. Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere and a great meal.

13/05/2024: One of the more mediocre meals I had in Florence. I have some cooking experience, and this definitely felt like a case where I could have done a better job at home or in my AirBnb for 1/5 of the cost. Good wine list though, and the servers seemed quite friendly.

16/03/2024: The prices are very reasonable, the taste is very good and satisfying. You can stop by and taste it before or after watching the sunset. The owners are polite and provide good service.

22/05/2024: I've never written comments. Found this place in Florence based on reviews. I've been in Italy for 5 days. In Florence, second day. Before that I was in Rome. Unfortunately, I didn't try the pizza there. Which I am very happy about. For the first time I tried real Italian pizza in this pizzeria, and what I want to tell you: This is a masterpiece!!!! Or as the Italians say - Bellisimo! The pizza is really VERY tasty. No, AWESOME! My wife and I took a mix - from different pieces. You choose the size of the slices and the type of pizza! Sometimes the combinations are unusual, but nevertheless they go together very harmoniously! I recommend trying it with figs😀. An hour later, we wanted to go there again! Everything is so delicious. But, the establishment works until they run out of dough. And that's right (IMHO). All ingredients are fresh. The place has a lot of traffic. So hurry up and be sure to visit this establishment in Florence! ZY We'll go there again tomorrow for lunch😁

We are on holiday in firenze en found this Pearl on Michelin, As chef of Belgium restaurant Oltra i can say We had a wonderful experience toninght! A lovely journey with some local products of firenze. Thank you chef for the tastefull menu, also the specials with the sprays of aroma's, And also a big thanks to the hostess for the fantastis service and big thanks tot the wine sommelier for the explanations about the wines! Big Thanks !!!
