17/09/2025: Open for over 30 years, with the possibility of choosing between first courses, pizza, paella and fish dishes. I don't like fish but those who have tried it tell me it's good and the paella is without infamy or praise. Instead I tried the first courses - excellent and plentiful - and the pizzas. The pizzas come in 3 sizes: baby, normal and platter; I struggled to finish the normal one, I recommend the baby because it is generously garnished! Low prices, especially for the platter pizzas which are gigantic! The ingredients are all quality. Courteous and helpful staff.

19/06/2025: Restaurant atypique à découvrir avec une très bonne qualité de plats typiques toscans mais aussi d’autres régions italiennes . La patronne très accueillante et jonglant aussi bien avec l’italien que l allemand ou le français , il n’y avait pas d’anglais ce soir là … Le service est impeccable . Je recommande avec une mention particulière pour une belle découverte vinicole au travers d’un rosé d’un producteur local ( Scarlino) Le Carpiana .

23/07/2025: Excellent experience, good food and lots of courtesy, really good and tasty pelaella, excellent sangria as well as the desserts among which the crema catalana stands out, perhaps a little hot inside the restaurant, but it is late July and in any case it is subjective perhaps it is I who prefer much lower temperatures, we had a lovely evening, thank you!

29/09/2025: Extremely noisy atmosphere with the kitchen venting directly into the dining room, so-so service. Poor dishes with high prices. And to top it off, waking up the next day with a sour mouth, a headache, and then stomach problems. 😐

28/09/2025: The owner was friendly. Sixty percent of the paella stuck to the bottom of the pan. The only tapas that were good were the tortilla ones.

30/09/2025: I'd like to start by saying that I've been a customer for many years, having an office in Villafranca, even though I don't live in the area. This evening I was passing by with a friend and wanted him to try your cream puffs. I called at 7:45 PM to ask if you still had any available (we wanted two to grab on the go), but the guy (the skinny one) on the phone told me they were sold out. From his tone of voice, I guessed this wasn't true, and since it was only 500 meters away, I decided to stop by anyway. When I arrived, I found several puffs displayed in the window. I asked the guy if he was the one who answered the phone, and he hesitantly denied it, but I clearly recognized him by his voice. I pointed this out to him, especially since the receipt says 7:57 PM, so we were still on time. I understand it was late and they wanted to close, but all they had to do was be honest and say, "Look, we're about to close; if you come right away, we'll give you some." Also because there were still customers sitting inside when we left. The puff pastries were as good as always, but unfortunately, this kind of behavior disappoints me as a longtime customer. I advise the owners to pay more attention to their staff; otherwise, they risk losing loyal customers. Unfortunately, I can only give them one star today.

24/09/2025: I've heard great things about this place, and today I decided to eat there. What can I say? I felt like I was walking into a portal and teleported to Spain in a second. Needless to say, I had a great time! I booked ahead and arrived when everything was ready. The food was simply exquisite. The chef/owner is direct, which I personally find to be perfect. She also has a natural charm that I really appreciated. But what I absolutely loved were the unique flavors of both the paella and the sangria. The traditional dessert was the icing on the cake. They've definitely gained a new, very satisfied customer. 😎✌

22/08/2025: Thank you very much for the service. The maps say opening at 6 PM, the sign says 6:30 PM, but we're now (7 PM) at the restaurant and it's closed. It's just a shame and shoddy.

29/09/2025: We had aperitivo, it was good. A bit pricey. Great view. Friendly staff.

23/09/2025: The view is magnificent, however, it's not enough to satisfy me. Paper plates and wooden cutlery, chipped water glasses. My skewers were overcooked and therefore dry. Industrial mayonnaise. Uncomfortable chairs and slow service. That's the negative. Otherwise, the wine is good and the stemmed glasses are decent. The staff is pleasant and the price is also right, but you're still paying for the view.

21/08/2025: Spectacular service by staff and kitchen. Very good food, great wine and impeccable service. Best option (outside the tourist area ) of Ortigia.

27/06/2025: Overpriced. The first set of food was served very quickly, but we waited more than an hour for a burger. When I asked for takeaway because I wasn't hungry anymore after that much time, we waited 15 minutes more and it was still not done. In the end I had to insist on paying cause we just wanted to go home, and they didn't want to give us the bill before food. After more insisting, I finally paid so I could go home (they didn't charge the burger tho). I understand that mistakes happen, but this is not the way to handle them. They could just tell us that miscommunication happened between the waiter and the kitchen and ask if we still want it, we would say no, pay what we have until then, and it will be fine. Overall, a very exhausting experience.

26/05/2025: Ho cenato qui varie volte negli ultimi mesi e la qualità si è mantenuta sempre ottima, buono anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Bene anche la cava; da migliorare secondo me la qualità della sangria (troppo dolce)

15/05/2025: Eating here it's always a pleasure, Pietro always try his best to pleasure customers, the Paella is the best i ever tasted. The Lomo Sanchopanza is really great, and do not leave without getting some chupitos, i will come back soon and feel like home while eating.
