20/12/2024: Polpette & Pampero is not the usual place for an aperitif: here everything is designed to surprise and delight. I had the pleasure of trying it and I was really impressed by the originality of the offer. No classic banal appetizers: the strong point are the meatballs in sauce, tasty and perfectly balanced, served hot and wrapped in a tasty sauce. Together, the chicken wings, crispy and succulent, made the experience unique and very different from what is found elsewhere. Everything is accompanied by a vast choice of drinks, from classics to more particular cocktails, all prepared with great care and impeccably presented. The staff, always smiling and helpful, add that extra touch, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. An aperitif at Polpette & Pampero is not just a convivial moment, but a journey into flavours, which combines tradition and innovation. I recommend it to those looking for a different experience, perfect both for an evening with friends and for a special occasion. I will definitely be back to try other specialties!

30/12/2024: 5 exciting stars, and that alone would be enough. From the moment you enter this little gem located in Sabaudia you immediately perceive the love and professionalism for catering. Homemade bread far better than that coming from the most well-known bakeries, tasting of Umbrian oil, long list of wines, wisdom in the presentation of the dishes with a clear propensity towards what the sea and the land offer that day. Personally I opted for a chickpea, calamari and cabbage soup which had an intoxicating flavour. I won't dwell further, we're talking about a place to discover and rediscover over and over again. Well done.

25/09/2024: The place is historic, evocative, very beautiful...but it is not possible that at 10am there is no longer a choice of croissants (there were 3 left) especially on the day of the weekly market considering that it is a historic cafe (and therefore knows the turnout ) and which also has its own pastry shop and therefore its own production. Having said this, in addition to having to wait (but it can take a long time given the many people), we received two flattened brioches, certainly unleavened and properly flaked, with a teaspoon of pistachio cream inside. All for the modest sum of €9 for two cappuccinos (€2 each) and two croissants (€2.50 each) not too large or stuffed. I've been there often, but after this episode unfortunately I will have to change my choice.

04/01/2025: We returned to this lovely restaurant after almost 20 years. Very nice place, clean, with attention to every detail. Despite the late hour and the absence of a reservation they welcomed us with extreme courtesy and kindness. We ordered a Spanish menu, I think I ate the best paiella (I have often been to Spain). The appetizers were plentiful and delicious and the sangria was truly top notch. Excellent value for money, helpful, attentive and kind dining room staff. Highly recommended, I will return especially to try the Greek menu.

20/10/2024: Disfrutamos de este lugar dos veces durante nuestra estancia este año. Buen anfitrión, traer un poco de apetito sólido con usted, ya que las comidas son considerables. Prueba la tagliata sobre ruccola con parmesano, nos pareció deliciosa. Recomiendo este lugar.

07/02/2024: One of the best pizzas in all of Modena, light and delicious. Friendly service and attentive to detail.

27/01/2024: Review also made on Just Eat last week but which I have no longer found so I'm replying here...pizza arrived an hour late with the fried food all bruised and banged up as if nothing had happened. Pizza? The dough was so hard that it was inedible!!! I strongly advise against it (review based on events that occurred last week)

26/01/2025: The place is small, with a narrow passage between the tables. We enjoyed the paella, sangria and the friendliness.

25/01/2025: I have been to this place several times; I have always seen a lot of friendliness from the staff, very kind and willing to exchange a few words. The food is very good, paella included. The only small flaw is the salting of some dishes which I would have preferred to be a little lighter from this point of view. However, I rate everything 5 stars and can't wait to go back! (This evening)
