02/11/2025: Stayed at a near by all inclusive hotel. Without getting transport to closest tourist places, Cefalu or Palmero, there is nothing outside of the hotel complex. 2 weeks ago there was a Ferrari car tribute event so had a walk out along the road to watch AND stumbled on this GREAT LITTLE CAFE. Having already eaten, Just stopped for a coffee (and beer🫣😂). Looks to be run by a family, with a great selection of authentic food and drink. Also very reasonably priced. A good break from an all inclusive hotel, experiencing more culture. Very polite and welcoming. English isn't great so like a game of sharards but that was the authenticity we liked of true Sicily 😃. Overheard others who had a meal saying how nice the food was. Even if it's only a walk out of the hotel and a drnykike us, support this great independent

28/03/2026: We are a family of two adults and three children. A truly welcoming place, with very kind and courteous staff, and excellent meat and pizza. We came across this place thanks to the recommendation and reservation from the owners of Donna Rosa, who introduced us to this truly delicious restaurant. It's a shame we were just passing through, otherwise we would have gladly returned.

15/03/2026: A corner of Spain near the Giardini Margherita. Excellent tapas, good-quality ingredients, and an intimate atmosphere. Perfectly drafted beer. Definitely worth trying at least once.

29/03/2026: Small place offering Asian and other cuisine in a quick and simple way. It's a small restaurant, but it's very much a place after dinner. I've had some very good dishes, good value for money. The dishes aren't very authentic and are very revisited, but I personally loved them. Various types of dumplings, noodles, and gyoza.

The view is beautiful... maybe it's also due to the beautiful day that allowed me to eat outside... the food isn't bad, it's a shame that half the already questionable menu wasn't feasible due to a lack of products. 25/03/2026: 23 € = pizza + bottle of water = never again Pizza was yummy and paella dishes are humongous -- to the point of being excessive. Unfortunately, the waiter rushed us to finish our meal (despite our big group being their only customers on Sunday and despite having booked well in advance). Icing on the cake, the usual Italian story: "we don't do split bills" -- which has nothing to do with the actual bill being printed (I'm perfectly fine having a single one), but has more to do with the cashier being unwilling to inform customers of the individual prices of their meals and unable to afford enough change for everyone... so I ended up paying more for a relatively cheaper meal just because we had to split the bill "evenly". Shame.

02/04/2026: I spent a wonderful evening dining with friends at this restaurant. What can I say? I'd gladly return. Spacious and quiet, an excellent place for lunch and dinner. The staff was courteous and professional, and both in terms of service and food descriptions, they were available for every need. Excellent dishes, beautifully presented. And the price was excellent—not too expensive, in my opinion, for what I got. I highly recommend trying it.

17/03/2026: I was in the restaurant with friends on a rainy Thursday, excellent food with a wide choice, both pizza and meat really good, excellent service, the waiters really kind and helpful, clean place and the icing on the cake was rounding up the bill by a few euros which is always nice.

09/03/2026: Did I spent two out of three evenings in Milano in a spanish tapas bar? Yes, I did. We liked the atmosphere, the friendly staff and the great wine and food.

26/02/2026: Delicious food, a quiet place with a very family atmosphere and fantastic service. An added bonus of this place is undoubtedly José Maria, who, despite all the various things to do, even sat down at the table with us for a chat. He's a warm-hearted person who exudes good vibes and makes you feel truly at ease in his company. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a place where quality food and a family atmosphere come together, and the result is truly La tienda de Juan!!!
