24/01/2025: Self-service restaurant at the Porte di Torino shopping center in Corso Romania. It is divided into dedicated islands by type of dish (first courses, second courses, grill, poke, desserts, etc. The choice is wide and the menu varies every day and there is a specific promo. Yes, you can really eat in a short time, the expense is contained and the service, although limited, is smiling and attentive. The hamburger menu is rich and complete with sandwiches, side dishes, 33cl canned drinks at a very convenient price. Inside the central hall there are many tables for take a seat, some also have power sockets nearby to recharge your devices. Furthermore, at the restaurant bar you can also order salads, sandwiches, slices of pizza, round pizzas and enjoy aperitifs with dedicated platters eat from salad to shank, all at a reasonable price and with a ready smile from the staff.

22/12/2024: Very well furnished Spanish-themed environment, friendly and approachable staff. We tried the black paella and the Valencian one, very well made and very tasty. The Valenciana is super. Homemade cakes and good ones too. While doing this review I noticed the 4.0 rating for this restaurant, it deserves much more. More and more convinced that reviews really don't count for anything.

26/09/2023: Very family atmosphere, no frills but welcoming place. Fast and friendly service, the menu is simple with a nice variety of tapas and then paella in its variations, the real protagonist. I haven't had the chance to taste the original yet but I really liked it. Each fish was cooked just right, as was the rice which I found perfect with those crunchy grains clinging to the edge of the pan as tradition dictates. Generous portions and certainly more than satisfying… I will gladly return!

28/11/2024: Me parece el mejor sitio de Milán para sentirte como en España, no encontrarás nada igual en todo Milán, buena cerveza , buenas tapas, jamón extraordinario...todo producto español de primera calidad y a buen precio ( ojo que estás en Milán) El ambiente es extraordinario, música española, muchas gente joven y un ambiente muy parecido al que hay en España.... no encontrarás nada parecido en Milan. La guinda de este estupendo local se llama Chema, un joven alicantino, que te hace sentir que estás en tu barrio, un fenómeno, un crack. Si vas a Milán no te puedes perder este local.

29/09/2024: Espléndido final de nuestra visita a Milán. Lugar divertido para estar, además de un conjunto muy agradable de tapas. Siendo el punto central las alcaparras y tapa de atún. Para una tarde diferente este lugar es una muy buena opción.

19/01/2025: Molto buono, abbiamo reso 2 tapas e la paella mista. Tutti simpatici e cocktail veramente piaciuti. Un po' caro, ma la qualità è comunque buona. Di tutti ristoranti spagnoli provati, El Bonito e il num 1 a Torino!

18/01/2025: Tutto veramente buonissimo, abbiamo preso la Paella di pescado e il pesce si sente che è molto fresco! Personale gentile e disponibile! Il locale è molto bello e accogliente, un ottima scelta se si vuole passare una serata in Spagna!

08/01/2025: Finally reopened... After a few years of closure, the only place that provides cuisine different from the others, has reopened its doors... The dishes are well taken care of in every detail, generous portions and modest prices. The service is tidy and well looked after, like the rest of the place, clean and well lit. The waiters come by regularly and take care of us with extreme friendliness. Highly recommended.

27/12/2024: Siamo stati il giorno di Natale con menù alla carta. Gli antipasti buoni anche se molto miseri. Dei 5 primi presi se ne è salvato solo uno , ma nonostante fosse buono, ossia paccheri alle vongole e pistacchio , i gusci delle vongole erano praticamente quasi tutti rotti in piccoli pezzi. I tagliolini al tocco completamente sconditi . Gli spaghetti al nero di seppia completamente slegati. Sugo inesistente e pesci crudi . I secondi ossia i calamari ripieni piuttosto crudi e duri. Il giorno di Natale si pensa che almeno il pandoro o il panettone vengano offerti. Invece nulla di tutto questo. Dolci senza infami e senza lodi. 330 euro 5 persone per come si è mangiato ossia male , e’ un prezzo fuori dal mondo. Io ne spendo anche 200 a persona ma se mangio bene . Sapevo che il cuoco era andato via ed ecco la spiegazione.

26/12/2024: We went over Christmas. I can't say I ate badly, but not well either. The fish starters were good, the paccheri were definitely good, although I found several pieces of clam shell in the sauce and this is absolutely not good. Spaghetti with seafood completely unrelated with some hard seafood that seemed boiled. The tagliolini are completely uncooked when touched. The second courses are the stuffed squid which are completely hard and therefore indigestible. For Christmas I would have expected a slice of pandoro or panettone but instead nothing. Very friendly staff, but I don't think I will come back again.

10/11/2024: Discovering La Cochera, a few steps from home, was a wonderful surprise! The atmosphere is welcoming, not at all chaotic, perfect for a relaxing and unhurried dinner. The waiting times are a little long, but only because the owners run the small restaurant in two, and the wait is worth every minute: every dish is prepared with great attention. We started with excellent Spanish cold cuts and a light and fluffy pinsa, made with rice flour and topped with chorizo, which was really tasty. Even the mixed paella, chosen by a diner, was rich in authentic flavours, as was the mixed grill and the creme brulee, perfect for a sweet ending. A highlight of the evening was the sangria, one of the best I have ever tasted, capable of transporting you to Spain with every sip. The quirky Spanish wine with the cute label added a special touch, and to finish we enjoyed some delicious Spanish bitters, including a spectacular honey rum and an aromatic herbal liqueur. The only small flaw was forgetting the spoon in the coffee, but it is a detail that does not detract from this authentic and quality experience. Highly recommended for those who want to immerse themselves in the flavors of Spain without leaving home!!
