We had dishes like involtini di pesce spada, baccala, prawno rosso, tentacoli di polpo, frittura mista, insalata della nonna, and a wonderful wine called Vulka. 100% recommended. 04/01/2026: Let's start with the very positive things: the food and the price. The first was good, the second very good. The atmosphere, however, is what it is... it doesn't make you want to go in, and even once you're inside... you think, "Maybe I'm in the wrong place." The owner and chef served us... he was certainly kind, but he didn't dispel the suspicion that I'd gone to the wrong place. The wait was a bit long (after all, he did everything)... but just when expectations were at the point of desperation, the surprise arrived: the dishes arrived, and I have to say, incredibly good.

24/01/2026: My boyfriend had BBQ ribs, and I chose tagliatelle with a cheese sauce and pepper. The food was absolutely delicious 👌🏻 For drinks, we had an Aperol Spritz, which wasn’t on the menu, but the staff prepare it for us. There is a beautiful view of the sea and a nearby lighthouse from the restaurant. Overall, the experience was great, and the service was excellent as well. 😊🙏🏻

21/12/2025: 2 stars that could have been 5. It's a restaurant that strives for quality. You can see it in the menu, the dishes, the cooking style, the service (attentive and professional), and even the ambiance, but... It's NOT possible to attract a certain type of clientele and simultaneously have an 18th dinner with blasting music! You ruin everything you're trying to build with your restaurant and those waiters so suited to that kind of restaurant! The ambiance often makes up 50% of the restaurant's value and represents 50% of the chances that the customer will return. Now, let's pretend I've been to this restaurant before, enjoyed it, and consider it suitable for an important business dinner for... 6 people. "I'll take you to a nice place in Augusta." I book.... And find the 18th dinner playing loudly all evening???? But no way. Too bad. I would have talked about the food; that would have been a good review.... That's not how it's done.

07/12/2025: We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .

13/10/2025: I have been here twice in 2018 & 2025 and I must say that here I felt the most chilled atmosphere. Food is good and has a touch of gourmet to complete each dish. Definitely recommended.

26/10/2025: A pleasant surprise! At the suggestion of a friend, we went to this bar. Despite its somewhat retro location, you can find a wide selection of breakfast and hot food. I recommend trying the zeppole, both classic and ricotta.

21/10/2025: Over the years, they've outdone themselves, both in terms of food and pastry. The quality is truly excellent and the prices competitive. They should renovate the place a bit; it's too dated. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

02/03/2026: The gluten-free pizza was undercooked, the toppings were almost non-existent, it seemed like a snack instead of pizza, maybe they should update it

21/02/2026: I've been going to this place for about four years and have never encountered any problems. The pizzas are delicious and the service is excellent and friendly. However, I'm forced to remove a star due to the significant delay. It took 50 minutes to take an order, 55 minutes to receive fries as an appetizer, and 90 minutes to start eating the pizza. I think I'll avoid going on Saturdays for now to avoid this inconvenience. There are other details I'm avoiding mentioning because they're always caused by the delay and confusion caused by the huge influx of customers to serve.
