21/06/2026: We stopped by as a backup plan and thought it was great.
Getting a table spontaneously for a group of ten is anything but easy, so we asked without much hope. We were warmly welcomed and treated like royalty. I've never had a pizza like it before. The flavor was more sourdough than yeast, and the tomato sauce was a touch sweeter than what we're used to in Germany... but it was absolutely fantastic. We'll definitely remember it for a long time.

19/05/2026: Excellent pizzeria. Pizzas are €8 to €10 and they're delicious, I'd even say exceptional. The icing on the cake is the incredible wine; the glass is inexpensive, and the amount served when you order a glass is probably close to double what you'd get in France. It's served at the perfect temperature, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they even offered me a complimentary digestif (limoncello). Absolutely perfect, I recommend it 100%.

07/07/2026: We came to Augusta for the holidays and stumbled upon this Parisian-style bar with an Italian twist. What a surprise! We loved it; Jean Joseph and his wife are lovely, the Spritz is delicious, and the welcome is very warm. A real gem! ❤️🇮🇹🤌🏻
26/06/2026: After trying several granitas, I came across this bar. The best granita in Augusta, in my opinion, creamy and filled with freshly chopped fruit. The place is small but cozy, and the staff are very friendly and professional.

La Cozza d'oro

15/03/2026: Fishmonger's restaurant: we stopped here for the first time on instinct. The owners were delightful, there was a tank with all kinds of shellfish (including American clams). The place was clean, the staff friendly, and everything from the appetizer to the first and second courses was truly delicious, leaving a scent of the sea.
For anyone passing through, I recommend stopping by.
We'll be back because we had a truly wonderful lunch.
07/12/2025: We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .
