29/11/2025: We called to cancel a table half an hour before the reservation and they proved to be unhelpful and quite rude. We will be left with doubts about the quality of the pizza, but that's for the best.

23/11/2025: One of the best gluten-free pizzas... their dough is soft and their ingredients are excellent. The regular pizza was also very good. Reasonable prices, welcoming atmosphere.

08/12/2025: Let's start with the mise en place: plastic runner, wooden cutlery rest and not even a plate to put the bread on... in their opinion we should have placed it on the table or on the plastic runner??!! 🤮 We order panelle to wait: they arrive full of oil on a ceramic plate without straw paper to absorb it: inedible. The appetizers were passable even if the octopus was drowned in a sea of ​​tomato... the worst were the main courses: dry amberjack... rubbery and tasteless octopus and the pork my husband got full of fat and sweetish... when he let me taste it I understood why he had stopped eating!!! It has never happened that in a restaurant we didn't finish the courses like we did here... lots of smoke and no roast... in my opinion just appearance! Experience NOT to be repeated

09/11/2025: Everything was extraordinary. The location, the magical atmosphere, and above all, the food experience was fabulous. Every course exceeded every expectation. The appetizer was marinated anchovies, the first course was spaghetti with smoked sea bass, the second course was roasted sea bass in a saffron sauce, and finally, a ricotta cannoli with Marsala cream. Nothing, there are no words to truly explain how good everything was.

01/11/2025: Good, refined cuisine. The sea bass and octopus were excellent. Nice glass of white wine. Portions a little small. Pleasant and clean setting in the cave. A good memory.

09/11/2025: Having lunch in mid-September, when kitchens are practically closed, is definitely a plus. Gioele, the waiter, went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate us. We had a wonderful time.

31/10/2025: A lovely restaurant in the center of Scicli. We stopped by chance for dinner. We had a plate of delicious panelle, a platter of cured meats, a first course of torchietti with potatoes, provola, and mussels, and another first course of zucchini scapece and datterini tomatoes. Everything was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

04/11/2025: Our stop in Scicli was even more wonderful after lunch at this delightful restaurant. The catch of the day was excellent, and the wine the owner recommended was even better! The cassata was phenomenal. The spaghetti in lemon sauce, with almonds and tuna bottarga (pictured) will remain my favorite. Corrado greeted us warmly and even gave us a bottle of olive oil. If you're passing through Scicli, you can't miss it!

27/10/2025: Excellent food in beautiful Scicli! The staff is attentive, even with gluten-free options. If you're looking for authenticity, friendliness, and professionalism, stop by Baqqalà! They're wonderful, incredibly friendly, and worth a visit for dinner, just for a chat. The food is excellent and second to none. Congratulations!

12/09/2025: The best ricotta canolo on the island... The last time I was there, it was at Tona. I went there every day for my canolo because it was so good and the service was excellent. I was sad that that man was no longer there... But the quality is the same, or even better, if possible. All good. The best of Scicli and the island. You can't pass up the opportunity to try anything they make here. Incredible.

09/09/2025: I went for breakfast on Sunday morning. The macadamia nuts were very good, and the ricotta cannoli was also good, but in Scicli I've found them even better at other bakeries. I bought some almond pastries to take up north, and I didn't really like them.

05/12/2025: An excellent experience in a magical setting. We had a truly enjoyable lunch at this restaurant. The location is simply enchanting: the restaurant is perfectly nestled in the beautiful historic center, creating a unique and evocative atmosphere, ideal for a special lunch or dinner. The quality of the food was excellent. You can sense the passion and attention to detail in the kitchen.

22/11/2025: We went in November and it was recommended by a friend of ours from Verona who lives in Scicli. It's a good recommendation. The place is cozy, the staff is friendly and helpful, and we ate well. The dishes were even small and had unusual options. Photos of the dishes can be seen by scanning the menu with the QR code. A really nice place. I'm saying the price is around €50-€60 because we drank a €50 bottle, so do the math.
