This restaurant is located in the heart of Scicli. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. The atmosphere is very welcoming and furnished in a simple yet elegant style. The ingredients used in the dishes are excellent, reflecting local produce. The dishes are generous, even for those with a hearty appetite. The staff is extremely helpful, and service is prompt. The presence of Professor Sgarlata (Donna Luisa) is delightful, and it's always a pleasure to chat with her over meals. I recommend it not only to tourists in town, but also to locals.

A very charming osteria in the heart of Scicli. The staff are very friendly, and the food is generally good and tasty, although I didn't appreciate the calamarata with red tuna ragù because the tuna was chunked into rather large pieces and seemed loose, separated from the pasta. Still, it's worth a visit and a pleasant evening.

Second time in Scicli 💛 and we couldn't miss eating on the street where Montalbano's police station is located.
Our first experience at Osteria Donna Luisa was excellent.
From the ritual tasting of the delicious EVO oil to everything else. The calamarata with diced tuna, dates, and capers was exceptional, as was the spaghetti with sardines and muddica atturrata 💛.
To finish, an excellent mixed fried fish and an orange, fennel, and spring onion salad.

Very kind and helpful.

A very well-kept restaurant, with equally welcoming and friendly staff. Attentive and meticulous service. Refined traditional Sicilian cuisine made with fresh local produce. Tasty and attentive, even for those like me with intolerances. A local icon, Mrs. Luisa, to whom the restaurant is dedicated, took the time to describe Scicli's culture and traditions, including stories from her life. A true gift.
