02/09/2024: Das Novè in Taormina ist vermutlich die Institution für alles rund um Pistazien. Hier wird gefühlt alles aus und mit Pistazien angeboten. Neben dem Cafe, gibt es auch einen Shop mit diversen Produkten. Ich probierte dort Pistaziengranita und den Espresso Pistacchio. Wirklich sehr gut!

29/08/2024: We stopped in for pistachio gelato it was amazing we also bought pistachios liquor to take with us. Friendly staff. The had tons of pistachio flavored items to purchase.

26/11/2024: Simply wonderful. Small, tranquil alley, small chairs and tables made from wine crates in front of it, rustically furnished inside - what was promised visually was even exceeded by the wine. We're not big wine connoisseurs, we said we like a dry Lugana - he recommended a local wine. In short: the best we have ever drunk. We also ate a bruschetta, the selection was limited because not all the ingredients were available in winter (so everything is fresh!) - but still a very good little piece of bread for a reasonable €2.50. If you want to have a drink before dinner: go here!

30/11/2024: It was one of the most memorable and innovative restaurants I had in Taormina. For someone who can't eat much, 6 courses were a lot, but the octopus dish and raw shrimp dish were shockingly delicious... Oh, and the lemon dessert in particular remains deeply in my mind.

04/09/2024: The patisserie we visited today was a real treat! For days we had been attracted by the seductive scent of the cookies that captivated us as we passed by. We finally took the plunge and went inside. The selection of treats was impressive. We chose a delicious tart and various cookies. Both were not only visually appealing, but also tasted excellent. The tart was fresh and baked to perfection, while the cookies offered a wonderful combination of crunch and flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience that we can recommend to anyone looking for authentic sweet delicacies in Sicily. We can't wait to come back and try more delicacies!

04/09/2024: Beautiful shop with great pastry creations - the marzipan fruits are also a feast for the eyes. Definitely try it out!

20/10/2024: Vi var där för att vi passerade stället flera gånger och de såg mysigt ut, supertrevlig personal och fantastiskt goda drinkar. Även stämningen och inramningen är väldigt bra!

28/09/2024: Heel erg romantisch plekje, een leuk terras over de tredes van een van de schattige straatjes van Taormina, in de verte zie je zelfs de zee. Heel vriendelijke eigenaren en ze hebben lekkere cocktails en het restaurant is volledig vegetarisch, met vegan opties. De Pasta a la Carlo is een van de lekkerste (vegan) pastas die we hebben gegeten. (Wel even van te voren reserveren!)

02/01/2025: Tried some pastries for the first time; right product quality... good but not the best; the thing that disappointed me was the packaging, which a pastry shop usually doesn't use!!! Pastries placed inside the bakery style paper bag!!! Plus one of the two ladies seemed annoyed by doing her job! A piece of advice: if you don't love the job you do... change jobs!!! Furthermore, remember the customer should be welcomed with a smile and not with sulking and anger! The pastries must be elegantly wrapped and not in bags like those in the bakery, otherwise change the name of the place and insert bakery and not pastry shop! No pastry shop worthy of the name puts the pastries inside the bag that is usually used by bakeries!!!

28/08/2024: A good pizzeria. Nothing more and nothing less. They let us sit on their veranda, which I must say was very very pretty. Quite expensive, 4 croquettes for 8.50 euros seems exaggerated to me, but it doesn't matter. The pizzas were good and our stay at the Napoletana was more than good. Clearly there are better pizzerias in Taormina, but this one doesn't have much to envy. The only problem is punctuality. If I book for 10pm. I have to have the table ready at 10pm, not that I have to sit at 10pm... Small imperfection to fill. However, we had a lovely evening, in good company and with good food. Must try.

02/12/2024: Last year, on a one month sabbatical of Italy, I spent about 3 nights in Taormina and my first evening there was spent dining at TreQuarti Taormina. The gentleman who owns the space was so hospitable and made me feel so comfortable, made great conversation, and suggested one of my favorite dishes of the whole trip, swordfish rolls. (Don't knock it until you try it, it's a delicious take on fish.) Additionally, when I had first arrived to the quaint town, I struggled immensely to get my overpacked luggage down the stairs to my Airbnb, that happened to be across from this adorable restaurant. The owner of this restaurant helped me carry my suitcase up the stairs to my accommodations (in the blistering heat) and helped ease my embarrassment in front of his customers. I am so grateful for this interaction and the dining experience too. Definitely worth a visit to this spot!

25/12/2024: We were there for dinner a few days ago and were very impressed by the service as well as the range and quality of the food! Fish dishes are particularly recommended! The price range is a bit higher, but quite reasonable for the offer and the attentiveness of the service! The restaurant was recommended by locals and we were very satisfied and would recommend it to others at any time!

22/12/2024: The Hostaria is the right place for a delicious and relaxed meal. Good, cozy and delicious, just like every Grades family. The employees are very friendly and uncomplicated. From the first visit you feel at home and welcome. Even if you often return to this wonderful place, it is a pleasure. Ingredients selected with dedication and just as carefully prepared can be enjoyed. Great team, definitely a feel-good zone AAA 5stars

The other products are also excellent, cured meats, cheeses, wine etc. Gianfranco dedicates himself to cooking with great passion and professionalism and the palate benefits from the result. 30/10/2024: You sit a little apart in a very nice atmosphere. The restaurant is run with passion and the food is worth the price! We have rarely eaten so well. Don't be afraid to come here with children, the chef is also ready to prepare pasta with tomato sauce for the little ones 😊 Absolutely recommended in all respects!
