21/08/2026: Inspired by the positive reviews, I went to try these cannoli... and what can I say, I was speechless, the quality of the cannoli was exceptional (I've never eaten such a good cannoli), the owners were very kind and super helpful, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the cleanliness of the place to the quality of the product... What can I say, I will absolutely go back as soon as I'm back in Taormina, I absolutely recommend everyone to try them!!

11/08/2026: Everything was amazingly perfect, both the food and the service. We walked by the terrace a couple of times and kept saying that we had to try it, and it was the best decision ever.
The terrace is absolutely beautiful, and you can really feel the care and attention to detail throughout the house. The food was excellent, but what made the experience even more special was the wonderful service. All the waiters were incredibly attentive, friendly, and pleasant, and we truly appreciated all the little details that made us feel so welcome.
Very professional staff and an unforgettable atmosphere. We absolutely loved it and would definitely come back!

04/08/2026: I'll be honest: I'm giving it five stars because overall we ate well and had a good time, although I can't say everything was outstanding. We had the full menu with the chef's specialties, and of all the dishes, the one that stood out most to me were definitely the tortelli, truly delicious! Otherwise, I remember a pleasant experience and some good dishes, but nothing that particularly impressed me.
30/07/2026: Incredible food! Couldn’t fault anything. Pasta buttons were out of this world (forgot to take a photo). Highly recommend the Timeless tasting menu. Great value for the experience and exceptional food.

I have seen some beautiful desserts in my life, but these cannoli were on a WHOLE different level! 😍✨ Tucked inside the most gorgeous, colorful, whimsical bakery in Taormina, Sicily, I found what may be the most beautiful cannoli I have ever laid eyes on.
And then I tasted it… 🤤
The fig cannoli with chocolate was absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD! The perfect crunch, the creamy filling, the sweetness of the fig, and that decadent chocolate… every bite was pure Sicilian magic. 🇮🇹🍫
A thousand out of ten! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This wasn’t just dessert—it was an experience, a work of art, and one more reason to fall completely in love with Sicily. ❤️

09/08/2026: I waited a long time, but it was worth it. I really enjoyed sitting there, and the food and Aperol were delicious. Between 6 and 8:30 pm, you should expect to wait at least 20-40 minutes.

08/08/2026: I had a tuna tartare sandwich, and a lemon and cheese tartare. The lemon in the sandwich was way too much. The hot sauce, however, tasted like battery acid. Not recommended.

16/05/2026: It was recommended by our local host, Isabella. Casa Niclodi was easily the best meal of our entire trip—we’re still talking about it days later. Every dish was incredible, and you can really feel the care behind the food. The service made it even better—so warm, genuine, and attentive without being over the top. It just felt special from start to finish. Don’t miss this place.

Features local architecture and the "Museo della Pasta" (Pasta Museum/Restaurant and Cooking Classroom).
Location: Located on the bustling pedestrian street Corso Umberto in Taoormina, on the east coast of Sicily, near the Strait of Messina and Mount Etna.
Highlights: The building combines a rustic stone exterior with floral-decorated wooden doors, and houses a cooking classroom and rooftop restaurant. The surrounding area is filled with a rich Mediterranean atmosphere and unique shops.
20/08/2026: A very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a particularly nonchalant blonde woman who seemed almost surprised when we mentioned we had a reservation for three.
Once seated, the waiter strongly encouraged us to order more drinks: cocktails, appetizers, dessert… As for the €20 pasta carbonara, the portion was so small that we left still hungry.
Finally, at 11:30 pm, we were made to feel very strongly that we had to leave, even though we hadn't finished our Spritzes.
Between the lukewarm welcome, the pressure to order more, the disappointing portions considering the prices, and the way the evening ended, we unfortunately won't be returning.

We sampled many of the menu's dishes, being a party of eight, and each course had its own refined and delicious flavor.
Both the first and second courses met our expectations.
A major issue was the air conditioning: the open doors at the entrance prevented the restaurant from cooling down.
Furthermore, there's an open terrace, which makes things worse on particularly hot days.
For those sensitive to heat, this makes it difficult to fully enjoy the dinner experience.
The price is high; we paid an average of €60 per person, including two courses, water, and wine, but it was in line with Taormina prices.
The service was excellent and professional.

We found La Napoletana just off the main drag in Taormina and were very glad we did!
The staff were so helpful and didn't bat an eyelid when we asked to share a starter and pizza (we were a little full after conducting extensive tests on the local gelatos 😋).
There were so many pizzas to choose from, including several we hadn't seen anywhere else. The food tasted so delicious and fresh. The staff were friendly and service was fast. Highly recommended!

01/01/2026: A memorable December 31st: we ate outside even though it was raining, warmed by blankets, the fire, and above all by the attentive staff who pampered us until the very end.
Jacqueline was an excellent hostess.
21/12/2025: What an experience ! Fantastic apetizer (sardinas fried to perfection with a simple home made mayonaise) and ensalata de bacalao with grapefruit and olives. My taste sense just exploded. Luckily there was a glass of the finest sauvignon to help getting back to earth 🙈😇. Delicious it was. Thank you very much.
