24/03/2024: Simply terrible! What saddens me most is that in a place like this you end up eating a horrible cut of tuna. Absolutely wrong cooking, I even had doubts about the quality of the fish, given that in some places it had a strange taste. Furthermore, as a side dish, a badly fried artichoke that leaked oil and was cloying on the palate. The appetizer and the service were appreciated but in a quality restaurant you cannot afford to offer dishes like this. Finally, I left the second one and no one bothered to ask why and I honestly felt ashamed for them to point it out. I will not return.

28/02/2024: this is a great restaurant, friendly service + nice atmosphere but the truffle pasta was not al dente. Very hard to chew. The bread was to much on the side for 1 Person. Cute little starter - i think it was a little omelette. But im sure the pasta was an accident. I will definitely go back to try the fish. My italian was sadly to bad to give a friendly feedback :(

18/12/2023: In una Messina stranamente deserta proviamo questo bar dopo una ricerca su internet. Puntiamo dritto alle granite e nonostante il mese invernale troviamo disponibili 6 gusti…io opto per una nocciola e pistacchio con panna che mi lascia letteralmente sbalordito…PAZZESCA!!! Ovviamente accompagnata da una “brioscia” sofficissima.

05/04/2024: Authentic Sicilian trattoria that really deserves it. Open only at noon! It's a good idea to make a reservation...we went without but luckily managed to eat! (Very good indeed)!

30/03/2024: We went to "l'Orso" on the recommendation of a friend, who had defined it as one of the best, if not the best culinary experience in Messina. We opted for pizza: a choice not from an endless list but all refined and gourmet. The surprise was when they arrived on the table, the flavor and quality of the products used exactly reflected the expectations of the choice. First-rate service, efficient, discreet and absolutely professional dining room staff. Large location, not chaotic. Prices in line with the general quality of the dishes and the venue. 06/04/2024: Traditional house, TERRIBLE service 1 hour to be seen eating 1 Arancini (yummy) cancel the folder, very late and HORRIBLE service. I was only assisted because a vacina woman at the payment place saw me waiting with an "ugly face". hahahaha would I come back???? I do not know

01/04/2024: The service is really lacking, especially for a place that claims to present itself as the "chic place in Messina". We sit at the table and no one bothers to clean the tables, we order tea among other things and they are brought with two teapots chipped in several places, and two cups also chipped, after about twenty sitting at the table we are told to get up because the table was booked (obviously when they gave us the table no one had warned us of this). At the checkout I pointed out some chipped cups and teapots and was dismissed with a "I'll report back" without even an apology. An experience definitely not to be repeated. I am willing to pay higher prices for food or drinks, but as long as the service and products offered are of higher quality, in this case I don't say anything about the products because we have all ordered products that did not require preparation, but the service is much worse of the smallest bars in the city.

16/03/2024: I had the opportunity to stay and eat at this property. I found the rooms very well, they are tidy and equipped with everything you need. The gastronomic part was a real discovery for the palate with typical products of the area from the black Nebrodi pig proposed in various ways to cured meats and cheeses. Not least the kindness of the owner and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff in the person of Tanino.
