23/07/2025: Il Ristorante Sire 🍽, in zona Recanati si affaccia sulla strada e attira subito l'attenzione. Siamo tornati due volte,
a pranzo abbiamo gustato degli ottimi caserecci al pistacchio 🍝 (con pasta fresca, pancetta, cipolla, panna e parmigiano): davvero saporiti e ben bilanciati nei sapori! Molto buone anche le insalatone, fresche, ricche e ben composte.
A cena abbiamo optato per la pizza 🍕, per la verità deludente: impasto poco digeribile, difficile da tagliare e che, raffreddandosi, diventa stopposo.
Per ora, promosso il ristorante ✅️, bocciata la pizzeria ❌️.
P.S. A Giardini Naxos, trovare una pizza veramente buona si sta rivelando una vera sfida! 😅

Friendly staff, seating mostly outside.
The food was delicious.
Seating directly on the street and people might feel slightly disturbed when sitting next to the road.

13/08/2025: Everything was great! Deducting one star only because the food selection is a bit limited (very few pasta dishes and no meat dishes with sauce), but what's available tastes great, it's very cozy, and the tables aren't too close together.
The service was extremely fast and friendly.

We had 4 penne and 9 beers for 127 euros. Thank you.
17/09/2025: We had later lunch and limoncello spritz and it was simply great. The spritz was stronger than we expected - this helped also that we felt so good there 🤣. Service was very nice, nice place on the square and we had also very nice coffee. I can only recommend.

15/07/2025: Pros: beautiful view, spacious room (we took 2 apartments with a kitchen and a balcony with a sea view), there is a private beach and a bar. The price is low if you book 2-3 months in advance
Cons (they have a paid parking, to get to it you need to cross a stream by car, the garbage was not removed for 4 days, I won't even mention the cleaning. Although there is a beach with a shower and toilet, there are very large stones there. On the very first day after we arrived, they tried to put us in another room worse than the one we booked, trying to blame Booking for this.

The next day in another apartment worse than the first

There were not even slats
Shower completely dirty
We returned to the first

Night the air conditioner rained on our daughter's bed with power outlets near the bed
A real danger ..
we requested a TOTAL refund
OUR ENTIRE HOLIDAY WAS RUINED .. at the moment if they don't fix the apartments
It is not an accessible facility they should close it and fix it .. because we pay and want to have the
services

02/08/2025: This looks like any other seaside restaurant, but my wife and I liked the look of the menu so decided to give it a try. What a great decision! The service was so welcoming - all the staff are very kind, friendly and efficient. I had lasagne and my wife had a vegetarian pizza. Both dishes were among the best we’ve had in Italy and that includes our jaunt to Naples last summer, let alone our other other meals round these parts! We’ll definitely go back - yum, yum, yum!!!

25/04/2025: Abbiamo cenato questa sera da Pippo Lupo di Mare, il personale è molto gentile e simpatico. La cucina molto buona e originale, non banale. Ottimi gli arancini di riso al nero di seppia e le polpette di neonata!
Il locale si trova sulla via principale in un’atmosfera vivace

11/04/2025: Amazing spot right on the promenade. We were walk ins and got a great table. Music was at a level that was spot on and enjoyable.
Antonia looked after us & made our time pass delightfully. She steered us to have a lovely local etna white wine. The seafood was excellent and the highlight was the octopus.
To seal the deal we had a fab local limoncello.
All in all the best meal and most relaxing restaurant we enjoyed in Sicily.

Dal momento in cui siamo entrati, siamo stati avvolti da un’atmosfera calda ed elegante.
Il personale è stato semplicemente impeccabile: accogliente, sorridente e attento ad ogni dettaglio, capace di farci sentire coccolati senza mai risultare invadente.
I piatti sono stati un vero viaggio di sapori: presentazioni curate come opere d’arte, ingredienti freschissimi e abbinamenti raffinati che hanno saputo sorprendere il palato ad ogni portata. Dall’antipasto al caffè e sopratutto ammazzacaffe , ogni assaggio raccontava passione, tecnica e amore per la cucina.
In poche parole: una serata magica che ci ha lasciato il sorriso e la voglia di tornare al più presto. Complimenti a tutto lo staff per aver trasformato una semplice cena in un ricordo speciale.

10/08/2025: Una volta scoperto, siamo tornati da Capitano Uncino per ben tre volte nella nostra settimana di vacanza a Taormina… e ogni volta è stata un’esperienza speciale!
Il locale è accogliente, con un’atmosfera familiare che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Il pesce è freschissimo, cucinato con semplicità e maestria: primi piatti di pesce superlativi, e gli involtini di pesce spada sono una vera poesia di sapori siciliani.
Il servizio è cordiale, veloce e attento: ogni cameriere ha un sorriso e una parola gentile.
Prezzi onestissimi per la qualità offerta!
Consigliatissimo a chi vuole assaporare la vera cucina di mare siciliana!.Non vediamo l’ora di tornare!
