09/08/2026: We went to this place two nights in a row and spent two wonderful nights chatting with the staff and drinking excellent cocktails, even getting inspired by the bartender. P.S. If you find the slipper, let us know because we'll be back! Love you all! The guys from Rome!

03/08/2026: Very good kiosk with tasty granita, iced coffee, brioche, and sandwiches. We visited here twice on our way to the beach. Friendly staff. Would definitely come back here! Very good!

29/07/2026: A must-try for seafood lovers! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had dinner at La Bussola and were truly thrilled. The fish was incredibly fresh, carefully cooked, and beautifully presented. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was exquisite, with authentic flavors and top-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home with their kindness and professionalism. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back!

31/10/2025: We arrived late in the morning and originally just wanted to grab some pastries. The bakery saleswoman was incredibly friendly and told us a bit about Italian pastries and related traditions. She also gave us some helpful tips. We ate two croissants and found them delicious, so we ordered more and stayed a while. The prices were very reasonable!

03/05/2026: We've stayed there twice now. Very nice, clean hotel. Well located. Short walk to the city center. Friendly and helpful staff. We were particularly impressed by the friendly and attentive ladies at reception. The only drawback is the toilets, which are much too low. Not ideal for taller people. A mosquito net on the window would be a good idea to keep out the annoying mosquitoes. Otherwise, everything was great. We'd gladly stay again 🙂

26/07/2026: We were unable to share our experience at this restaurant. We waited outside for 10 minutes, with several servers passing by. None of them came to greet us. We finally called them over, only for them to tell us they couldn't seat us even though the restaurant wasn't full! I gave it one star because I couldn't give it zero! I strongly advise against going there! Judging by the owner's comment, perhaps he's the one who needs to control his anger. He doesn't know how to respond to negative comments without aggression. These responses should be constructive for improvement. Your server could have simply said, "We're fully booked, please consider making a reservation for next time," with a smile. Best of luck.

25/07/2026: Disappointed by our experience. We stood in front of the servers for about ten minutes without anyone even glancing at us or saying a word. After a while, we had to ask a server if it was still possible to have dinner. He simply shook his head and told us it wasn't, without a word. We completely understand that a restaurant can't accommodate a group of 10 people without a reservation. That wasn't what bothered us. What really disappointed us was the lack of consideration and the feeling of being completely ignored. A simple "good evening," a few words of explanation, and a smile would have been enough to make the situation much more pleasant. It's a shame, because the food looked very appetizing, and we came looking forward to discovering the establishment. I'm not in the habit of leaving negative reviews, but this experience really affected me. All customers deserve to be treated with respect, whether they have booked or not.

25/12/2025: I received a Black and White cake from this pastry shop as a gift. The packaging was oddly glued together with staples, but nothing unusual. The surprise was inside, as the cake arrived without even a serving plate and was thrown haphazardly into the box without the slightest care. At least a stand could have been included.

14/04/2026: A negative experience, unfortunately not an isolated one. At the first polite comment, the staff's reaction was disproportionate and unprofessional: heated tones and a complete inability to handle criticism. It's precisely in moments like these that the quality of service is measured. The point of the discussion was simple: after ordering wine by the glass, I was asked if it was okay, even if it was expensive, and only later did it emerge that the glass had been "poorly poured" by my colleagues, meaning it wasn't full, with a two-euro discount and no willingness to open a new bottle (an Etna red for around €80) "for me." An unclear dynamic, difficult to consider consistent with attentive service. Added to this is an even more unpleasant episode: after inquiring about a forgotten jacket, I was explicitly told that the reply was sent at 2 a.m. "on purpose" to disregard my rest (I swear, those exact words). It was accompanied by an invitation not to show up again and a heated argument over the 10-minute delay (the taxi was late, and we even let me know; the music evening started very late because the place was empty and no one told us). During the interaction, personal references were also made, such as "I know who you are, I know your parents," which were completely out of place and irrelevant to the context. I understand that managing multiple places can be challenging, but we've witnessed these scenes too often. Stress and the fact that you don't take days off cannot justify either angry attitudes or deliberately inappropriate behavior toward customers. A minimum level of professionalism should remain a constant, otherwise you should rest or seek professional help. This isn't the first time I've witnessed the owner make a scene toward customers and employees; it seems like a a little too much.

14/04/2026: We are the team of Villa Nadira. We went to Sottosopra with our host after hearing about it from her, and after she had recommended it to many guests. We’re not entirely sure what happened, but ordering a glass of wine turned out to be surprisingly complicated — lots of back and forth, with the waiter constantly coming and going. When we arrived, no one greeted us, and the waitress gave us an unfriendly look. So we ended up taking shots at the bar, as we were being ignored by the entire staff and didn’t even know where to sit. We waited in front of the kitchen. Eventually, we realized our table was downstairs. The live music night was nice, although the place was quite empty and they started very late. We’re not sure what happened later while paying the bill — at the time, we thought they were just joking around. One of us even played music and connected with the musicians, so overall there had been some genuinely nice moments. Two days later, we found out we were no longer welcome. Another staff member accompanied our host for clarification and told us that the waiter had said he would grab them by the hair and throw them out. A supposed manager justified the situation by saying that the owner never has days off. Avoid this place if you just want to have a good time without dealing with the staff’s anger. 13/05/2026: If you're looking for authentic, timeless flavors in Giardini Naxos, Rosticceria Da Andrea is a must-see. It's one of those historic places that exudes tradition and passion for work. The highlight is undoubtedly the chicken: succulent, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with that crispy skin that makes it irresistible. You can taste the special care taken in selecting the ingredients and seasoning. But what really makes this place special, beyond the quality of the food, is the welcome. The owners are exceptionally kind, always extremely helpful and with a smile on their faces. They make you feel at home from the moment you arrive, an added value that's not at all easy to find these days. Highly recommended for both a quick lunch and a quality takeout dinner. A historic landmark that never disappoints!

12/04/2026: We're staying at a campsite and after seeing Da Andrea online, we decided to try it. The chicken was delicious, with a lovely lemony flavor. The potatoes were also very good. I recommend it for a quick and tasty meal.

27/07/2026: Very well-organized beach with all the amenities, excellent bar and restaurant. I used their shuttle service, it was top notch.

27/07/2026: Don't come to this beach. Not recommended for everyone. The staff is extremely rude. We were sitting on the lounge chairs when they made us move, addressing us in a rude tone. Don't waste your money here, go somewhere else.

28/07/2026: Finally, I got the chance to come! I'd been wanting to come back ever since I passed by before. I ordered the octopus appetizer 🐙, and the owner recommended making it into a salad with tomatoes and onions. The seasoning was excellent, and the olive oil paired perfectly with the bread. The seafood pasta was very different from other places; there was no fishy taste, and the seasoning was rich and unique. The owner even invited us to the seafood stall next door to choose some fish, and all the fish were incredibly fresh! The owner was also very friendly, and you could tell he had a great love for life. He even helped us find the bus stop. Highly recommended! I must say again, the seafood pasta was the best I've had in Sicily these past few days!

28/07/2026: Fresh, delicious fish and seafood. Both for eating in, buying and taking away. Service is extremely kind and attentive. The food is also very delicious, I can only recommend it!

02/06/2026: Very, very nice atmosphere, staff very attentive to everyone and above all refined in their service, tasty place and I would say understatement, very well cooked, r flavor, I had three first courses of seafood appetizer, and second course, very good fried foods, and calamari and swordfish, and prawns, and dessert and Amaro del Capo at will, and I forgot a local red wine, really good... tonight a nice karaoke....
