12/01/2026: I've known the Cavallaro bar since Mr. Cavallaro was there, a gentleman! I recently returned, and I had a great time, the owners and staff were very kind, the granita and biscuits were excellent, if you find yourself in Giardini Naxos it's a must-see ☕🍩🍪😀👍

27/11/2025: I'm a super demanding customer; if I book a table, I expect it to be there at the scheduled time. Jokes aside, don't book: it's pointless. As soon as we arrived, perfectly on time, they didn't even check the reservation. They made us wait standing, then asked us again to sit at a table inside, which looked like a waiting room, and we remained there for 15 minutes. We decided to leave, disappointed, because we certainly would have waited much longer.
To answer your question, I don't know which couple you saw, but my girlfriend was 5 minutes early, and I was at the 1:00 mark because I had to park my car. So, avoid making untrue statements, have the courage to apologize, and learn to behave.
28/10/2025: Chef Mimmo and his family provided an excellent experience. The food was phenomenal but the company of Mimmo, Vittorio, and Chef Mama was even better! Highly recommend dining here or trying one of their authentic cooking classes!

Although it doesn't look like much from the outside, we were attracted by the good reviews and the location very close to our accommodation. The pizza is very good and the prices are more than decent. Only the seafood pizza is 18 euros, most pizzas are between 7 and 12 euros. The pictures speak for themselves!
Cover 2.5 euros / person.
26/10/2025: We stopped for dinner and all ordered pizza, delicious, thick and soft, and made with quality ingredients. Really good prices. The atmosphere is family-friendly and the staff are friendly. They offered us a truly bitter amaro, not for everyone but definitely worth a try, and a truly delicious Sicilian cannoli-flavored cream liqueur. Highly recommended.

19/12/2025: Excellent pizza, even with the smoked fish trio. Prompt and attentive service. The internal air circulation system needs rethinking so you don't have to wash all your clothes before reusing them (as a partial justification, I'll add that in the winter, it's a little more difficult to ensure adequate ventilation, but not impossible).

02/01/2026: The owner and staff were extremely unfriendly and unenthusiastic. I've never experienced such bad service anywhere in Sicily. The espresso was mediocre at best and overpriced for the quality. The atmosphere was very loud and uncomfortable.
I will definitely not be going back here.
02/01/2026: The place advertised itself as dog-friendly. But I had a bad experience with my dog, who's bigger than a lapdog. Nowhere else has my dog been a problem. Here, several waiters and the owner made rude comments and asked us to leave. And they did it in a way that I think could have been done much more politely. The staff is and always will be unfriendly.

In my opinion they have the best pasta in the area as a home restaurant.
12/10/2025: The food is not special, the portions are small, but it is expensive. Maybe because it is surrounded by hotels and villas.

12/11/2025: We had dinner here three times, every dish was brilliant, the service was great, the waiter was kind and took care of everything, this family restaurant is great, it raised the atmosphere of the area and brightened up our vacation. The soup, the fish, the appetizer, everything was divine, but the Etna penne took care of everything. It was one of the best pastas of my life!
24/10/2025: Amazing welcome every time we visited and the best tiramisu on Sicily in our view. Francesco is the most amazing credit to his family - hopefully see you soon xx

The staff was too friendly!
From the appetizer to the main course, we ate wonderfully!
But the worst part was the wine glass being double the usual size.
P.S. I'm saddened to have tried the tuna tartare because I'm sure I'll never taste anything this good again.
09/11/2025: Perfect insalata di mare and polpo con patate. This is really an awsome dish! You need to try it. Great pastas and wine Grillo. Very friendly staff. Very. Nice place to eat and have nice time. Very good grappa and limoncello as the finish.

17/09/2025: Good place for a simple meal, decent cuisine. Too bad we couldn't enjoy a sea view, but overall the food is still satisfactory and the flavors are quite classic.
10/09/2025: I had the pleasure of dining here last night. The place is very elegant and pleasant. We were served by very kind and helpful waiters, always ready to recommend the right food.
We started with a delicious shrimp cocktail, followed by spaghetti with clams and gnocchi with pesto and shrimp, all accompanied by a fruity white wine that made the dinner incredibly tasty. We finished with a panna cotta and an apple tart.
Nothing to add, everything was perfect. The sound of the waves in the background created a magical atmosphere.
If you love good food, this is a must-try, highly recommended!

07/01/2026: Poor quality food. Salad was mediocre. The pizza crust seemed prepared ahead of time, not freshly baked. Felt sick after eating here. Threw leftovers in the garbage. Not worth the high prices.

We were the first guests at lunchtime.
The waiter was very friendly, unobtrusive yet attentive.
The antipasti, pizza, and pasta were very good, and the fritto mist and mixed salad were fresh.
A bit pricey, but worth it.

01/12/2025: Wow! This food was home cooked and SO delicious. I got the Carbonara and the calzone and my heart and stomach are leaving so happy. And you can’t beat the prices. Also, the restaurant owner was so very kind. 10/10 recommend this place!
