19/01/2026: I had dinner here for my partner's birthday, and she received a wonderful surprise at the end of the meal: a special dessert served with a candle and beautiful decorations! Beyond that, the food was excellently cooked! The presentation was perfect! Fabrizio is second to none; he controls the dining room, not a thing out of place; he's incredibly attentive to his customers and always available to answer any questions, not to mention his mastery in recommending and explaining the dishes! I highly recommend the "swordfish sausage"—it sounds strange, but it's something you can't understand until you've tried it at least once! Congratulations! PS: The prices are perfectly in line with the quality of the service and food.

04/11/2025: We were there yesterday. The owner was very friendly and the food was fantastic. It's a very family-oriented and child-friendly place, and we even managed a short conversation despite the language barrier. We would have loved to come back after speaking with the owner yesterday to see if they were open today. Unfortunately, he wasn't there, and the employee on site informed us that they were now closed (this was at 8:25 pm – the sign on the door says open until 11:00 pm). The employee also said they would be open again tomorrow – even though the sign says "Closed Wednesdays." All in all, very disappointing – so despite our extended stay in the city, we probably won't be coming back. It's a shame, because the food was very good.

05/01/2026: Absolutely perfect pizza, kind, friendly and polite staff, varied menu with lots of choice, and definitely affordable, in my town on the other side of Sicily the pizzas cost 1-2 € more, but the quality is definitely inferior, but here instead the pizzas are stellar and the price is right, a real marvel.

Each dish was an explosion of flavors and discoveries, often unexpected and astonishing. 23/09/2025: A very nice place, quiet and relaxing (although I would have liked more shaded relaxation areas to read or lie down rather than stay in the room). The outdoor spaces are very well-kept. It's family-run. The staff are very kind, courteous, and attentive. Even my dog, a medium-sized mixed breed, was very welcome. Breakfast was plentiful. Lunch was a set menu, prepared by the owner, and was very good. Even the ricotta cassatelle were served hot, freshly made! Thank you for your hospitality.

05/10/2025: This bistro is located in the quiet square of the Baroque church of Santa Rita. Our visit was a real pleasure, thanks to the quality of the food and drinks. The staff was very friendly, and even gave us the unique opportunity to visit the little church opposite, which would have been closed at the time.

22/12/2025: I had the pleasure of attending a special lunch at Villa d’Andrea, one of those occasions where you immediately understand that the cuisine is the true heart of the experience. The chef's touch is immediately apparent: clean flavors, quality ingredients, and an unpredictable balance. Even the seemingly simplest dishes manage to surprise. A simple side dish of perfectly golden baked potatoes, soft on the inside, with a natural sweetness that lingered in the mouth. It's rare to remember a side dish; here, it was impossible to forget. Among the appetizers, the Sicilian arancinetto was fragrant and dry, the stuffed mushroom intense yet balanced, while the citrus ricotta with crispy capers was striking for its freshness and contrast. The true masterpiece arrived with the first courses. The crispy ricotta and spinach cannelloni was simply unforgettable: a fantastic, light, golden breading enclosing a creamy, flavorful filling. The underlying sauce, special and well-crafted, elegantly tied the dish together, transforming a traditional first course into something memorable. A great added value was the service: friendly, courteous, and always smiling, they also had the right witticisms, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere with their guests. Attentive and quick, they always served everything piping hot, never failing to offer second helpings, a sign of great organization and attentiveness to their guests. The elegant yet welcoming atmosphere of Villa d’Andrea makes everything even more enjoyable, perfect for important events and memorable moments. The chef at Villa d’Andrea demonstrates an extraordinary ability to infuse even the simplest dishes with character and make the most elaborate ones unforgettable. We had lunch on December 21st and will be back on the 25th. I can't wait to see what dinner has in store. An experience I recommend without hesitation.
