10/01/2025: Excellent culinary experience in this trattoria located in Piazza del Duomo. The menu mainly offers Sicilian dishes both meat and fish based, but you can also find other more continental dishes. The Scottona steak with fondue and the Ragusano buffalo burger are excellent. The service is quick and the staff very courteous and helpful. Fair prices and generous portions. The only flaw of the evening was the presence of fumes and vapors coming from the kitchen which in some cases could be too strong and annoying.

06/01/2025: The owner is an eclectic person who welcomes you in a warm and kind way. The menu is dictated by how inspired you feel that day. Homemade and delicious food. Very welcoming and lively atmosphere. Super recommended.

02/01/2025: A very rare example of ingenious and sincere catering in less than 20 square meters. Totò, the owner, cooks and serves alone for less than 15 seats. There is no menu, let alone ordering. Totò makes you eat well without chatter and without frills. We were 4 adults and 3 children and we enjoyed the humble, sincere and lovingly prepared dishes. Local raw materials, carefully selected, are processed with skill and passion in a tiny space. Totò is a splendid, polite, competent and pragmatic person. His "bistro" is a place where even with 3 hungry young children, you feel at home and leave happy and satisfied. P.S. For a complete lunch we paid less than €15 each.

18/11/2024: Ci avevano consigliato un altro locale che abbiamo trovato chiuso. Quindi ci siamo trovati davanti al Mema' e guardando le recensioni su trip abbiamo notato che erano piu che positive. Quindi siamo entrati e siamo stati accolti da persone molto gentili che ci hanno subito messo a nostro agio. Piatti squisiti e servizio impeccabile, prezzi nella norma. Assolutamente consigliato.

13/02/2025: Unacceptable management for a restaurant that boasts a Michelin star. I booked through Google with confirmation received from The Fork, so everything was regularly documented. Two days before dinner, they called me saying that the reservation didn't appear, even though they clearly had my details. This level of disorganization and disrespect for the customer is simply disgraceful. A Michelin star should be synonymous with excellence, not with poor service and embarrassing excuses. I strongly advise against and certainly will not return.

12/02/2025: Bad experience, booked with The Fork online via Google. Booking 15 days in advance and confirmed via email by TheFork. 2 days after booking I was called and told that they couldn't find my email with the confirmation and that for these reservations they sent an IBAN on which to make a payment to block the table. payment which I would have gladly made if I had received it at the time of booking. You understand that it seems unlikely that they won't find my reservation given that they called me. When I asked them how they planned to solve the problem they replied "I don't know". They may have a Michelin star but the booking service is terrible. If you offer the possibility of booking via Google (which relies on the fork) and then don't check the bookings that come to you via this channel, you will greatly worsen the reputation you have.

17/01/2025: The first time I order pizzas in this pizzeria. I was very satisfied, I liked the pizza a lot. Gian Franco and Fiorenza are truly fabulous, welcoming and kind people.

11/01/2025: I've already been there once and it's always a guarantee. The pizza chef Gianfranco is very kind and also gives you advice on how you could make the pizza and the pizza is really delicious, soft dough and it didn't make me weigh down at all. Truly recommended!!! 5 true stars

02/12/2024: We had a wonderful evening here! We were in the entrance room, well heated and welcoming. The food was really great! We started with the french fries, fresh and not frozen, with ketchup and mayonnaise, homemade. Oh my goodness! They were so good that we ordered a second portion, this time cacio e pepe... A real delight!! Continuing with the sandwiches, what can I say!! A goodness! Super stuffed and with very fresh ingredients. I took the one with horse meat, cooked very well, and so tender that it melted in your mouth! Those of the other diners were also really tasty! I will definitely be back!!

08/01/2025: Noi siamo andati a mangiare in questo ristorante, siamo entrati alle 12:30 e abbiamo ordinato. Non prima delle 14:20 è arrivato il primo, il cibo si era buono ma le cose che non mi sono piaciute sono il fatto che abbiamo aspettato tanto, e il secondo fatto e che sono stati tutti molto maleducati, e inoltre c'erano delle cameriere con i capelli sciolti che toccavano spesso, specialmente sopra i piatti. Dopo di ciò il giorno dopo siamo tornati per chiedere il menù del giorno, ma invece di dirci che era lo stesso del giorno precedente, ci prendono in giro dicendo di poterlo cambiare, ma non il prezzo! Dice così il proprietario e tutti gli altri si mettono a ridere. Per questo lascio una stella, spero che la recensione vi sia stata utile.

10/01/2025: A slightly disappointing experience, mostly because we expected excellent food, instead we ate reasonably well without infamy or praise but having paid a really high amount we expected much more. The restaurant is quite large with several seats distributed over several floors and is located a few steps from the Piazza del Duomo of Caltagirone. The menu is rather limited and mainly offers typical Sicilian dishes with some reinterpretations. The management is family-run and the staff is courteous and helpful. The portions are generous and the quality of the ingredients is decent. High prices.
