10/07/2026: I don't usually write reviews, but after dinner at Opera Viva, I have to: the fregola we had was excellent; the grilled vegetables were great too, and the tiramisu was absolutely wonderful. It had been a long time since a meal had made me so happy. This place, seemingly unassuming and without any frills, but with top-notch cuisine, will stay with me forever.

08/07/2026: This place is a true Sardininian gem. Beautiful fresh fish, great local fresh pasta, and attentive service. One of the best restaurants I've been to in all of Italy in months of travelling.

09/05/2026: My partner and I went to this restaurant last week, booking a table through Google. The service was impeccable (and friendly!) and the food was delicious. We ordered two appetizers, two first courses, two desserts, and a glass of wine, spending just over €60 each. Honestly, the price is reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. An honorable mention for the spaghetti allo scoglio! Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be back!

24/04/2026: This place is special. The owner in the kitchen is truly a master at handling excellent ingredients. And then there's Silvan, the service wizard, a longtime waiter. Friendly, witty, and absolutely super professional. A truly unmissable place.

18/05/2026: A fantastic restaurant :) We felt completely at ease, and the owners were a wonderfully warm and welcoming couple who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. And what can I say? They succeeded. The appetizer platter was delicious, and the steak was cooked to perfection. However, the lamb was unfortunately a bit tough (though that could have been due to the animal), which is why it loses a star. This might seem like nitpicking, but at that price, I do expect a little more… Nevertheless, I can highly recommend the restaurant and especially the hosts :)

19/09/2025: A small trattoria in Pozzo San Nicola, a laid-back place with a delightful little garden. We ordered suckling pig with potatoes this morning, delicious and plentiful. The cheeses and tumbarelle pastries were also delicious. The staff were courteous and very friendly. Discovered this year, we'll be back.

16/09/2025: Tasty dishes and a good service. The fish wasn't properly cleaned inside (the black skin) but it didn't ruin the taste.

02/05/2026: Very good pizza restaurant. We went for the 'de la casa' option (Regata), and a 'speck' (very nice ham with gorgonzola), and very much enjoyed that. Friendly people running the place.

27/04/2026: Great atmosphere, super fast service, wood-fired pizza. Spotlessly clean place and super friendly staff. The pizzas were delicious! 🤤 I highly recommend it.

18/07/2026: We had an excellent experience at II Portico Ristorante Pizzeria. We booked online, which was especially convenient as only a few of the restaurants we looked at in Sardinia offered online reservations. The communication was also excellent: our reservation was confirmed through WhatsApp, and then confirmed again on the day of our booking at 5 pm. We really appreciated that level of clarity and communication. The food was excellent, and all four of us were very happy with our meals, including our two children. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive, making sure that our orders were taken accurately. Everyone we interacted with also spoke English, which made the experience very easy and comfortable for non Italian speakers. The food, service and location were all excellent. We would happily return and would absolutely recommend II Portico Ristorante Pizzeria to others visiting the area.

11/07/2026: It's been a while since I've been crazy about a bowl of mussels and clams. The taste and ingredients were exceptional, and then I continued with a perfect fried calamari... My compliments for everything: service, location, and chef. Highly recommended.

13/07/2026: A disappointing experience, to say the least, both for the quality of the staff (two ladies as friendly as a finger in the eye), but also for the food served: terrible both in quality and presentation. I ordered a first course of ravioli with tomato sauce (and stopped there because of the unpleasant flavor), while my wife ordered a lemon veal scallops (unsightly) with a side of zucchini (sliced ​​very thickly and undercooked). It's a shame, because the setting is not bad and, more importantly, it has a splendid view.
