23/08/2025: Intrigued by the restaurant's type and location, it was a bit of a disappointment right from the start because they seated us outside, but it didn't matter since we hadn't booked. The service was good, and the waiters were very kind and helpful. Overall, it would have been a good dinner, as the first courses were quite okay, except for the "Chef Pasquale's Selection" appetizer, if I remember correctly... €60 for 8 canapés, with no particular flavor to justify the price, in my opinion. And I was hoping to satisfy two people, and I'm not talking about gorging. The same went for the second course, a mixed fried fish dish, but there wasn't much of it, given that it should have been fresh catch of the day, including various sizes and types of fish, mollusks, and crustaceans. Instead, we received a plate with two shrimp, a few squid rings, and zucchini, at a high price.

21/08/2025: Fried calamari with flair: 3 onion rings on top as a garnish. Never seen before. Spaghetti with clams (five of them) hospital-grade, without oil or garlic. Friendly manager. Excellent wine.

08/08/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant, which was the best during our week in Cannigione. We were on the terrace overlooking the harbor, which was very pretty. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the main course and dessert (Spritz, Virgin Mojito, Pizza, Seafood Liguine, Tiramisu). Good value for money.

07/07/2025: We dined at La Brezza after having checked multiple reviews in the area. The choices are extremely limited and besides that, food was bland and overpriced. The fried calamari, prawns and vegetables was simply a dish of shredded fried vegetables. Despite having tried to communicate this with staff members, all fell on deaf ears. We expected more for the price paid and it ruined our night. Had higher expectations. Please avoid.

19/08/2025: Perfect sunset dinner with the family! The location is stunning with a beautiful, spacious territory that creates such a cozy and elegant atmosphere. As an investor in restaurants and hotels, I can appreciate the quality of service here - attentive staff who made the evening special for both adults and kids. The fish and seafood pricing is definitely premium, but the setting and experience justify it. This is exactly how waterfront dining should be executed - memorable atmosphere, professional service, and a location that creates lasting memories. 07/07/2025: We stopped by for the typical Italian aperitif we'd told the family we were traveling with about, a favorite we've had from another trip where we spent a wonderful afternoon eating and drinking, but today we didn't get it right. Three Aperol Spritzes, a glass of Vermentino wine, a Coca-Cola, and the aperitif was very limited and expensive. A small portion of four varieties per person, and it was also full of wasps, which made our visit very unpleasant. Not recommended, although the service and the views of the sea were very good.

02/09/2025: Our stay at Cala di Volpe in Sardinia in June was simply a dream – an absolute highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we felt the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The entire team is incredibly friendly and attentive; you immediately feel welcome and cared for. The resort itself is beautiful – Mediterranean flair, manicured gardens, stunning views of the sea, and an elegance that never seems forced. The sommeliers deserve special praise: so excellently trained, with great expertise and a passion for wine that made every evening something truly special. A huge compliment to this fantastic team! Our favorite waiter, Paolo, particularly touched us with his cordiality, attentiveness, and warmth – he made every meal an unforgettable experience. The culinary variety was also outstanding: from lunch at the juice bar to the relaxed aperitivo in the atrium to the restaurants in the evening, which shone with excellent cuisine, loving presentation, and a unique atmosphere – it was simply unique. The rooms were spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and furnished with great attention to detail – a perfect retreat after a day of enjoyment and relaxation. All in all: The Cala di Volpe combines luxury, hospitality, and the highest quality in an inimitable way. We enjoyed every minute and are already looking forward to our next visit!

The food out if the show case might or might not have seen the microwave. It is a pitty to see this place decay - passion for business seems gone.

18/07/2025: Slow service and disappointing food. The croissants were terrible – sometimes they’d even bring a bun and call it a croissant. There were just too many disappointing points overall. The service, in general, really wasn’t great. The only reason we kept coming back was because of the waitress Becky. She was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and genuinely the highlight of the place. We actually started calling it Becky’s Restaurant.

15/07/2025: Barracuda: a sure thing in the heart of Baia Sardinia We returned after two years, and once again, Barracuda exceeded all expectations. So much so that we returned for two nights during our vacation. The restaurant is located in the main square of Baia Sardinia, in a very central and charming location. The welcome was impeccable: the staff were extremely kind, punctual, and extremely efficient. The comfortable seating also deserves a special mention—an often overlooked detail, but one that makes the experience truly enjoyable. We started with appetizers recommended by the waitress: Fried shrimp candies to be eaten whole, crispy and delicious, accompanied by fried seaweed. Fried tuna meatballs: flavorful, light, perfect. Mussels with crostini: a classic executed to perfection. But it was with the first courses that Barracuda truly won us over: Mezze maniche with mantis shrimp and cherry tomatoes: full and balanced flavor, a memorable dish. Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù: a surprising summer choice, but definitely worth trying for its delicate, balanced flavors. Spaghetti with clams: simply perfect. A true Neapolitan, we've rarely tasted anything so good. A masterpiece of simplicity and technique. For our second course, we shared an octopus tentacle on pumpkin cream: haute cuisine presentation, a flavor worthy of applause. To finish on a sweet note: tiramisu, baba, and torta caprese. All excellent, especially the tiramisu, soft and delicious. The service was fast, courteous, and always attentive, with excellent value. If you're passing through Baia Sardinia or the Costa Smeralda, Il Barracuda is a must-see. Excellent cuisine, a charming location, and a perfect atmosphere. Thank you for giving us another unforgettable experience.
