07/10/2025: As soon as the owner said that they only serve water, beer or wine I knew I had come to the right place. Ignore the negative reviews, this place is perfect. Great food and you feel like you are sat in someone’s home. The restaurant is welcoming, warm and cosy. The food is comforting and the portions are very generous. It tastes like a family run restaurant and feels more authentic than many of the other restaurants that we have visited on the island. As a side note there is a great view from the car park.

31/07/2025: Servizio scandaloso. Per ordinare abbiamo dovuto insistere più volte, come se stessimo chiedendo un favore. Il conto è arrivato solo dopo 4 richieste e oltre 20 minuti d’attesa. Senza alcun dubbio, il peggior servizio che abbia mai ricevuto a Porto Cervo.

03/07/2025: Encontramos esta pizzería después de dar vueltas por la parte alta para aparcar. Buena terraza, muy agradable para cenar. Pizzas grandes con muy buena masa. Precio medio pizza: 17, 18€. Te cobran el cubierto , cosa que no entiendo porque no te ponen ni pan. Ánimo a Alejandra, la chica que nos recibió a la puerta y nos sentó, porque tenía encima todo el tiempo a un señor de gafas que no paró de increparla. Él ni saludaba ni miraba para los clientes. A este señor si le tienen que dar formación.

19/07/2025: Service correct repas nous n’avons pas du tout aimé. Je demande de l’eau pétillante avec une rondelle de citron 😔 je ne reçois pas de rondelle de citron . Le petit amuse bouche était bon. Le poisson était pas du tout à mon goût. « Monkfish ». Les légumes très peu en quantité 25 euros c’est exorbitant ! Mon conjoint n’a pas pu manger les pâtes l’assaisonnement était étrange. Nous repartons dessus sans finir les assiettes. Je pense que la sélection des plats étaient mauvais pour nos papilles.

14/07/2025: Très bien reçu dans ce resto typique avec une excellente cuisine de la nonna. Nous y retournerons. Seul ennui terrasse minuscule et bruyante.

18/07/2025: Slow service and disappointing food. The croissants were terrible – sometimes they’d even bring a bun and call it a croissant. There were just too many disappointing points overall. The service, in general, really wasn’t great. The only reason we kept coming back was because of the waitress Becky. She was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and genuinely the highlight of the place. We actually started calling it Becky’s Restaurant.

15/07/2025: Barracuda: a sure thing in the heart of Baia Sardinia We returned after two years, and once again, Barracuda exceeded all expectations. So much so that we returned for two nights during our vacation. The restaurant is located in the main square of Baia Sardinia, in a very central and charming location. The welcome was impeccable: the staff were extremely kind, punctual, and extremely efficient. The comfortable seating also deserves a special mention—an often overlooked detail, but one that makes the experience truly enjoyable. We started with appetizers recommended by the waitress: Fried shrimp candies to be eaten whole, crispy and delicious, accompanied by fried seaweed. Fried tuna meatballs: flavorful, light, perfect. Mussels with crostini: a classic executed to perfection. But it was with the first courses that Barracuda truly won us over: Mezze maniche with mantis shrimp and cherry tomatoes: full and balanced flavor, a memorable dish. Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù: a surprising summer choice, but definitely worth trying for its delicate, balanced flavors. Spaghetti with clams: simply perfect. A true Neapolitan, we've rarely tasted anything so good. A masterpiece of simplicity and technique. For our second course, we shared an octopus tentacle on pumpkin cream: haute cuisine presentation, a flavor worthy of applause. To finish on a sweet note: tiramisu, baba, and torta caprese. All excellent, especially the tiramisu, soft and delicious. The service was fast, courteous, and always attentive, with excellent value. If you're passing through Baia Sardinia or the Costa Smeralda, Il Barracuda is a must-see. Excellent cuisine, a charming location, and a perfect atmosphere. Thank you for giving us another unforgettable experience.

09/07/2025: Ristorante fuori Baja Sardinia. Non si prenota ma si mangia secondo ordine di arrivo. Prezzi onesti con pizze che vanno dai 5 ai 9 euro. Pesce e carne. Spaghetti abbondanti per i miei figli ( porzioni molto generose) ma carbonara con panna anche no. Buono antipasto mare ma la nota dolente è stata attesa di quasi un' ora per me e mia moglie. Attendevamo uno spaghetto vongole e una grigliata. Agli altri tavoli ho visto una risposta più veloce. Entrato dopo di me e usciti nettamente prima. Mi dispiace ma ciò è intollerabile perché mi ha scombussolato la serata. Seadas ne ho mangiate di migliori.

02/07/2025: Siamo arrivato qui ingannati da una fila interminabile, una volta seduti è arrivato il cameriere che ci ha servito il pane che non era per niente fresco. Abbiamo ordinato dei gnocchetti sardi completamente esenti da sale e pasta scotta con salsa acida. Come secondi ci hanno servito carne completamente cruda nonostante avessimo chiesto cottura media. Carne con contorno arrivata con patatine quelle confezionate tipo san carlo e verdure grigliate con consistenza plasticosa, non erano nè cotte e neanche condite, esasperati abbiamo chiesto il conto e ci siamo trovati una porzione di pasta in piu per un errore del cameriere che nonostante si sia scusato alla cassa comunque l abbiamo dovuta pagare.

14/09/2024: Siamo andati a cenare in questo ristorante per festeggiare un anniversario di nozze, ma l'esperienza è stata piuttosto deludente. La location era ben curata, ma il cibo non è stato all'altezza delle aspettative. Ho ordinato una linguina con pesto di pistacchi e gambero rosso mentre al tavolo e arrivata una pasta con pesto alla genovese(una pasta dal costo di ben €28) Sinceramente, non sono un grande fan del pesto alla genovese( ho problemi allo stomaco se dovessi mangiarlo, per giorni!!!!!!) e, se l'avessi saputo, non l'avrei scelta…per non parlare della tartare di gambero rosso che accompagnava la pasta, era completamente dissonante, pasta e gamberi non si abbinavano affatto. Quando ho chiesto alla cameriera se il pesto fosse alla genovese o di pistacchi, la sua risposta è stata: "Ah, non lo so!" 🚫 Ho gentilmente chiesto di verificare in cucina, si è allontanata dicendomi “si, certo” ma poi mi ha completamente ignorato non facendomi sapere più niente. Il conto è stato estremamente salato: 5€ per un'acqua e 5€ di coperto a testa….che dire, tra la scarsa attenzione del personale e la maleducazione riguardo alla richiesta sul pesto (continuavano a sostenere che fosse di pistacchi nonostante fosse palesemente alla genovese !!!!!) posso solo dire: EVITATE QUESTO RISTORANTE!

14/09/2024: Le dio una oportunidad a este restaurante basado en las buenas críticas. Al llegar nos informaron que no había cócteles disponibles (en un lugar que tiene mixología en el nombre? ). El entrante creme brulee era acuoso e insípido, el pescado de la parte principal parecía viejo, la salsa sabía literalmente a nada, los espárragos estaban tan sobrecocidos que simplemente parecía triste. Terriblemente caro, la mitad del menú no estaba disponible. En la mesa de al lado había un coulpe que pidió pasta con pesto pistacho, consiguieron pesto genovés normal sin siquiera ser informados así que también quedaron terriblemente decepcionados. no se dejen engañar por las hermosas fotos, la realidad es tristemente totalmente diferente. No recomendaría este lugar, no pierdas tu tiempo y dinero👎

21/11/2025: Not cheap but recommendable. We chose the menu. I don't understand the bad reviews in any way. The restaurant was a little pearl. The dishes and ingredients were mostly from the region and very traditional. The service was extremely friendly. Sometimes a little too much for you, but trying very hard. Thank you very much. The food was the best we had in Sardinia. A little tip from us: add prices on the website and on the map. That makes things easier. The same goes for the wine list. The sommelier was wonderful and we enjoyed a fabulous Sardinian wine. We have been there on 4/10/21. *** Summary *** Price / performance: 3/5 Food: 4.5 / 5 Service: 4.5/5 Atmosphere: 4.8/5

23/07/2025: Abbiano cenato in un'atmosfera da film, romantica e con una lieve brezza di vento. Conduzione familiare, abbiamo visitato "lu stazzu" dove veniva cucinato il maialino da latte e provato diversi piatti tipici. Assolutamente consigliato!

02/11/2025: A very beautiful and evocative venue located in one of the most beautiful places in the world. With this setting, it's natural to expect top-notch service and, above all, superior food. Indeed, after getting over the wow factor of the location's beauty, we enjoyed impeccable service from knowledgeable and friendly staff and excellent food. A special mention goes to the linguine alla Nerano, an extraordinary Mediterranean dish. Spectacular!

02/10/2025: Despite spending around €250 for dinner for two, they refused to remove an appetizer we ordered and didn’t like. It was literally €35 for 4 small pieces of bite-sized zucchinis with what tasted like a fish paste filling inside. We ate one each and left the rest. The manager came to ask if we didn’t like it. After telling him we didn’t like it he took our plates away in what seemed like a “I’ll remove these from your bill sorry you didn’t like it” kind of way, and asked if we would like something else but later included it in the bill. When I asked if it could be removed he said that he would ask and came to say no (he just said he would ask but didn’t ask anyone I could tell), saying that we ate half of it and for that reason they would charge us for it (how else would we try something with 4 small pieces). Terrible experience, extremely small portions, and bad food. Don’t go here unless you want to be treated with fake and greedy hospitality.

22/08/2025: We stopped in for lunch because it offered a set menu, according to the reviews (€10-€20). We arrived and were offered two starters to choose from and two main courses + dessert. The price wasn't listed on the board, but we trusted it and got shocked when we paid. There were four set meals without dessert: one beer, one water, and three coffees. We don't know the price breakdown; it's not listed on the receipt. €130, for that price, you can eat well in the area.
