26/02/2026: This is my second time here, both times off-season. This doesn't detract from the consistent quality that appears on your plate. Coming from Belgium, with its many Michelin-starred chefs, I'd happily award a star.

17/11/2025: In nomen omen. We went there on the first evening of our vacation, right after arriving in Calasetta. At the end of our vacation, it was definitely our best place. The food was truly excellent, well-prepared and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the tuna tartare was already sold out, and I recommend showing up early if you want to try it. We consoled ourselves with a lovely, freshly seared grilled belly that, months later, I still dream about. Otherwise, everything else was decidedly top-notch.

30/04/2026: In Iglesias for work/vacation, recommended by a local friend, we tried this place. Excellent selection of craft beers and a great menu. We tried two excellent sandwiches. The meat was of high quality, and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a try.
10/04/2026: As a family with two children, we've been to Birroteca several times. We've always received a very warm welcome, the food is excellent with a wide variety of dishes, from simple to more elaborate. They also offer a large selection of craft beers to accompany your meal.
