16/12/2025: A truly fascinating experience. The interior reflects the ancient building techniques used in ancient times, making it feel like we've stepped back in time. The walls exude history, and in such a historic setting, the modern furnishings fit perfectly. The open kitchen and expertly prepared food with fresh, local ingredients, a touch of innovation, and the dishes become art... Highly recommended!

01/01/2026: The first bright day of the new year! Children playing among the flowers with dogs and cats, the sea shining in the distance. Authentic food, cooked with love and served with kindness and passion in a warm atmosphere. Beautiful. An enchanting place.
17/10/2025: "Agriturismo" in the truest sense of the word, lunch outside on the veranda, the dishes offered were delicious, all locally sourced, and the set menu included second helpings.
We were very satisfied with the overall lunch, especially the price (€35 per person) for various appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, drinks, coffee, dessert, and liqueur, all accompanied by the owner's kindness.
The only thing I would advise the owner (as an animal lover) is that dogs and cats should not roam among the tables.

15/10/2025: Strolling along the seafront, we decided to make a reservation for dinner, and we were right!
The restaurant is very refined, with professional, elegant, and attentive staff.
The service is excellent, and the quality of the food is truly excellent.
Everything was fresh and delicious: we enjoyed typical Carloforte dishes. The tuna steak, which I'd been dying to try, was truly excellent, as delicious as everything else.
The location is beautiful, right on the seafront.
The prices are high, but the quality of the food and service justifies it.
If you want to savor typical local dishes and be pampered by attentive and friendly staff, this is definitely the place!

High-level service that doesn't veer into excessive formality; time is spent at large tables and comfortable seating; an extensive and refined wine list; mastery from appetizers to dessert; fair bills that are perfectly tailored to the offerings. But what really makes the difference is the staff: all of them! Congratulations 💯

06/02/2026: I've been going to Poppy's for years, and I can honestly say it's my favorite gourmet pizzeria (and I've tried many). You don't just go to Poppy's for pizza; it's a truly extraordinary culinary experience, one of those unforgettable ones. The attention to detail is absolute, the flavors are unique, and the products have a quality that can't be explained in words. As if that weren't enough, the staff is wonderful, the place is very cute and well-kept; it's impossible to find a flaw. ❤️
19/01/2026: Gambero Rosso 2-slice pizzeria. Very friendly staff, with a helpful and courteous waitress.
There were four of us and we ordered four pizzas (truffle, San Salvatore, cinghialotta, vegan), one buffalo burrata, four beers, three desserts (one Atto Secondo Mango and two Como una Cuba), two rum shots, one still water, and one coffee.
Bill: €136.20 (€34 each).
Atto Secondo Mango: White chocolate egg with mango filling.
Como una Cuba: Chocolate cigar, coated in bitter cocoa and filled with tiramisu cream. It arrives at the table under a smoked glass dome, accompanied by a rum shot. Dipping it in rum faithfully reproduces the experience of a real cigar.
Special mention for the truffle and the Como una Cuba.
Passed.

06/11/2025: A beautiful restaurant with delicious food, and the staff are excellent at explaining things and making recommendations.
The only thing the service could improve is this: We ordered a low-priced wine that wasn't available. The alternative wine offered was almost twice as expensive; perhaps this could have been mentioned. However, it tasted good, and that's what matters most.

20/02/2026: This exceeded expectations. The menu di giorno seemed expensive at 39 euro at lunch but the quality of the food was excellent. Best meal I have had this year in Sardinia. Wine and a litre of water and no cover charge No other tourists here just locals which is also a good sign. A must visit place if you like fish. The aperetivo with three different dishes was exceptional.
08/02/2026: We've been to Sergio and Gaetana's several times, and have always had a great time. Excellent food and a warm welcome. Highly recommended.

Also delicious gluten free options
(one of us has celiac):
not only Pizza with thin and crispy dough,
but also pasta and even Fritto misto - great and opulent.
Furthermore superfriendly owners, staff and service.
We are and will stay repeat offenders. ;-)

14/01/2026: A very welcoming, vintage inn. I'm staying here for work. The owner is very sweet and welcoming. The staff is fabulous, and the food is delicious. I recommend it to anyone in the area. The food is exceptional and plentiful, and they cater to children, those with allergies, and other religious beliefs. Overall, a fantastic, family-friendly place and staff.

17/11/2025: In nomen omen. We went there on the first evening of our vacation, right after arriving in Calasetta. At the end of our vacation, it was definitely our best place. The food was truly excellent, well-prepared and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the tuna tartare was already sold out, and I recommend showing up early if you want to try it. We consoled ourselves with a lovely, freshly seared grilled belly that, months later, I still dream about. Otherwise, everything else was decidedly top-notch.
