10/01/2026: For my family and I, dining at this restaurant when we're in Carloforte has been a rewarding "must" for years.
Andrea, Madda, and Cristiano, along with their kitchen team, are a guarantee, and their menu is rich, varied, and flavorful.
The waiters in the dining room are a very close-knit team, attentive to their customers, knowledgeable, friendly, and quick with their service. Carmelo is a highly knowledgeable and versatile sommelier. 😀 What can I say? They're all top-notch, and we feel truly pampered. Thank you all. See you in September. 🥰

12/04/2026: Found it by chance online. There were eight of us. The service was impeccable. We ate wonderfully, everything was delicious and plentiful. Our server explained everything to us. If you want to experience authentic agriturismo, this is the place. I'd love to return. It's a well-deserved 5 stars.
12/04/2026: While it seems like a down-to-earth place upon entering, inside it's a simple and welcoming, family-run establishment. Reservations are required, as seating is limited.
The dishes are locally sourced, all home-grown. Everything is delicious and high-quality.

06/02/2026: I've been going to Poppy's for years, and I can honestly say it's my favorite gourmet pizzeria (and I've tried many). You don't just go to Poppy's for pizza; it's a truly extraordinary culinary experience, one of those unforgettable ones. The attention to detail is absolute, the flavors are unique, and the products have a quality that can't be explained in words. As if that weren't enough, the staff is wonderful, the place is very cute and well-kept; it's impossible to find a flaw. ❤️
19/01/2026: Gambero Rosso 2-slice pizzeria. Very friendly staff, with a helpful and courteous waitress.
There were four of us and we ordered four pizzas (truffle, San Salvatore, cinghialotta, vegan), one buffalo burrata, four beers, three desserts (one Atto Secondo Mango and two Como una Cuba), two rum shots, one still water, and one coffee.
Bill: €136.20 (€34 each).
Atto Secondo Mango: White chocolate egg with mango filling.
Como una Cuba: Chocolate cigar, coated in bitter cocoa and filled with tiramisu cream. It arrives at the table under a smoked glass dome, accompanied by a rum shot. Dipping it in rum faithfully reproduces the experience of a real cigar.
Special mention for the truffle and the Como una Cuba.
Passed.

17/11/2025: In nomen omen. We went there on the first evening of our vacation, right after arriving in Calasetta. At the end of our vacation, it was definitely our best place. The food was truly excellent, well-prepared and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the tuna tartare was already sold out, and I recommend showing up early if you want to try it. We consoled ourselves with a lovely, freshly seared grilled belly that, months later, I still dream about. Otherwise, everything else was decidedly top-notch.

31/03/2026: I've been to this pizzeria several times. Each time, I've been very pleased, both with the light and delicious pizza and the consistently fast service.
15/03/2026: Excellent pizzas, no complaints, a wide selection, and fair quality for the prices they offer.
The only flaw is seeing the people behind the counter touching their nose, hair, cell phones, and tablets on the countertop to watch the game. Their clothing isn't up to standard for a restaurant, and the pizza chef's assistant dressed as if he were at a bar with friends, touching his back and shirt over the plates, and then putting his hands on the toppings. It's a real shame for a place like this, because the pizza is worth it, but it makes you think poorly of the hygiene standards.
I hope it's not labeled as bad, but as constructive.

13/03/2026: I strongly advise against it. We went to the bathroom to wash our hands, which was filthy and dirty with a strong sewer smell. They never give you a receipt at the checkout, and at the exit, plainclothes customs officers checked us...
14/01/2026: A very welcoming, vintage inn. I'm staying here for work. The owner is very sweet and welcoming. The staff is fabulous, and the food is delicious. I recommend it to anyone in the area. The food is exceptional and plentiful, and they cater to children, those with allergies, and other religious beliefs. Overall, a fantastic, family-friendly place and staff.
