18/08/2025: We went for dinner, with live music in the background. Excellent food, locally sourced. The setting is beautiful and meticulously maintained. The owners are incredibly kind and truly care about their customers. A classy place. I highly recommend it, and I also recommend making a reservation.

15/10/2025: A true experience! A wonderful family-run business. Most of the guests were there with their campers and stayed overnight. We came for dinner on the recommendation of friends. Much of the food is home-grown, and a lot of heart goes into it. We were there for a total of 3-4 hours. We had bread with olives and a cheese/ham platter, 2 appetizers, 2 primi (pasta dishes), 2 main courses (meat), and dessert. You could always order more, but honestly, it was very filling! The owners speak Italian, German, and English. Drinks of water, wine, and homemade limoncello were included in the price (€35 per person). A truly enjoyable evening.

15/10/2025: Strolling along the seafront, we decided to make a reservation for dinner, and we were right! The restaurant is very refined, with professional, elegant, and attentive staff. The service is excellent, and the quality of the food is truly excellent. Everything was fresh and delicious: we enjoyed typical Carloforte dishes. The tuna steak, which I'd been dying to try, was truly excellent, as delicious as everything else. The location is beautiful, right on the seafront. The prices are high, but the quality of the food and service justifies it. If you want to savor typical local dishes and be pampered by attentive and friendly staff, this is definitely the place!

High-level service that doesn't veer into excessive formality; time is spent at large tables and comfortable seating; an extensive and refined wine list; mastery from appetizers to dessert; fair bills that are perfectly tailored to the offerings. But what really makes the difference is the staff: all of them! Congratulations 💯

12/09/2025: The welcome and atmosphere were excellent, with very friendly and helpful staff. As for the food, there were two of us and we had two pizzas with a tasting menu. We tried the truffle and lemon pizzas, both excellent. The lemon pizza stands out for its lightness and contrasting flavors, while the truffle pizza, perfect for those with a sweet tooth, offers an experience of intense and varied flavors. I recommend this place both for those who want to enjoy an extraordinary pizza with high-quality ingredients, combinations, and preparation, and for those coming from abroad who want an authentic gourmet Italian pizza experience.

10/10/2025: Spectacular cuisine. I appreciate the local wine selection, but it doesn't quite live up to the dishes. We'll definitely return to try some of the other pairings.

08/10/2025: This restaurant was our primary reason to take a day trip to Isola di San Pietro and the whole trip was absolutely worth it. Amazing place, people and food. Don't expect anything fancy, but simple things on a very high level for a reasonable price.

09/10/2025: Awesome relaxing lunch spot. Chef offered off menu items when what we ordered was not available..husband thinks it may be better than menu item. I had the gnocchi and calamari. Spot on. Do not miss.

25/09/2025: We had both the meat and fish menus. Both were very well-chosen and perfectly prepared, with high-quality flavors. The service and ambiance were also excellent. Highly recommended, and we'd be happy to return!

26/08/2025: We had a great time, we had the crab linguine: a real treat; high-quality still white wine. It's a bit hidden, so don't be discouraged by the climb! The dishes are few but well-made. It feels like family, the staff are very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

The dishes are flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented: a true delight from start to finish. The welcome is exceptionally warm; you immediately feel at home, with attentive and friendly service. A must-visit in Carbonia for those who love good Italian/Sardinian cuisine and a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

25/09/2025: You'll find yourself in a nostalgic and pleasantly simple atmosphere. The slight monarchical reference is lost in the rustic, home-grown Carloforte setting. Mario immediately puts you at ease. You'll feel pampered and recommended. The dishes are excellent, locally sourced, and plentiful. The quality is exceptional.

03/09/2025: Historic pizzeria....I practically grew up with them....first Gisa's father, whom I never met, then Gisa and her husband, whom I met, then Angela and Giusy, Gisa's daughters....who today maintain the family tradition....in every way....both the positive aspects (the goodness of the products) and the negative ones (seize the moment or you'll never find anything left to eat)....

30/08/2025: We came to Gisa's because we were curious to try Carloforte's famous farinata. Gisa's is one of the most famous and popular pizzerias in Carloforte, so we absolutely had to try it. We arrived around 7:00 PM and there was already a pretty long line. At this place, you can order pizza by the slice: margherita, red pizza without mozzarella, and farinata. The lady who cuts the pizza and farinata and prepares the trays is very kind and prepared us a portion of pizza with margherita, a red pizza without mozzarella, and two portions of farinata, one to take away and one to eat right away, fresh from the oven. Needless to say, it was really good, and in its simplicity, it's truly worth a try. If you find yourself in Carloforte, I recommend stopping by, standing in line, and trying the farinata—you won't regret it!
