10/05/2025: In the place with outdoor children's playground. Very kind staff. A nice place to stop for breakfast and relax. Lately I've also been eating pizza in the evening, and I must say that the pizza is really delicious

22/04/2025: Cordialità e disponibilità da parte dei gestori da fare invidia a tutti, servizio più che eccellente e preciso, il personale sempre gentile e a disposizione, professionale e sorridente.Il mangiare ottimo.. direi.. voto? 10!! Per lo più intrattenimento con Gigi Cabras, una Pasquetta indimenticabile. Raccomando vivamente perché stesso servizio e stessa qualità del cibo si può ritrovare ogni giorno.

20/07/2025: Dinner with a group of friends; we all ordered pizza, beer, and digestives. Everyone agreed on the pizza's deliciousness, but the service was a bit slow; it took a long time from the drinks to the pizza, but perhaps it was just tactics? Furthermore, the place wasn't well air-conditioned; it was hot, so refills were a must. The price was moderately high, around €35.00 per person. Rating 3.7, which could undoubtedly be improved with a few small tweaks.

09/07/2025: The first time I got a pizza from them, it was really good, albeit expensive. The fries, filled to the brim, were the same. The second time, it was a bit undercooked and made me feel really bloated, but I passed because it was still excellent (with whole pistachios, giant burrata, and excellent mortadella). The third time (yesterday), it arrived frozen, and the fries on the bone (the box was almost empty) were also frozen. The worst thing was that the burrata this time was tiny and had almost no stracciatella (it was so tiny that it only remained in the center even when opened), and the whole pistachios turned to crumbs every now and then. The pizza was completely burned, black as coal—and obviously bitter. All for €16, which isn't cheap. Oh, and of course, there's a bonus. I was incredibly sick with cramps and all. Oh well, another pizzeria that goes bad after the first.

06/07/2025: I have been taking pizza from Gallo d'Oro for takeaway for years and I always find it excellent, among the best in the area. The staff is also always very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, however, I cannot give 5 stars for two reasons that I hope can be welcomed in a constructive way: the acoustics of the place are really difficult, you are forced to speak very loudly to be heard, and the air conditioning system is insufficient. The table where we were placed received practically no refreshment from the only split in the room. I hope that this small criticism can be of help to further improve the experience in the room, because the quality of the food and the service really deserves it.

29/07/2025: THIS PLACE IS A SCAM, DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU ARE A TOURIST!!! I went with my partner and we ordered a "Degustazione antipasti mare". As you can see in the menu, it costs 19€ and it says minimum 2 person, NOT 19€ PER PERSON, which is what they charged us, a total of 38€ only for this plate. If it is 19€ per person it should clearly say so in the menu, just like in any other restaurant. I am very sure that they would not charge us that much if we were Italian, so if you are a tourist watch out for these scammers. Also the food was not great at all.

26/07/2025: Good morning, remembering the amazing meal we had last year, we returned, and it was undoubtedly a wonderful experience once again. We ate at Dioo, from the appetizer to the liqueur: everything was amazing, especially the fregula (the most popular dish, probably the best fregula in Cagliari). Also, thanks to Matteo (the waiter who served us that evening), who made us have a wonderful evening and treated us so well despite the late hour and short notice. We will definitely be eating here every time we're in Cagliari.

26/07/2025: The best seafood!!! Impeccable service, super fresh and perfectly cooked fish. The best seafood restaurant in the area. Don't miss it!

14/08/2025: Every course was a wow...actually, a whoop!! The favorite of all...the fregola (damn, the photo doesn't do it justice, so I won't upload it). An incredible explosion of flavors! All the freshest ingredients, flavors, and contrasts. The outdoor setting is pleasant, soft, well-lit, and furnished. Highly recommended. The only drawback (the reason for the missing star) is the time.... 10 minutes on the clock for someone to come and take your order, another 10 minutes (after requesting) for the bread (by the way....so good in its various shapes and flours!!!!!) and water. In short, after 1 hour and 15 minutes, only the fregola arrived. We booked at 9:30 PM (the place was full, and they deserved it), and left at 11:15 PM with 1 first course and 2 second courses. Too much, even though you should enjoy your vacation without rushing, you can't just feel the need to stretch your legs.

12/08/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at the restaurant wasn't a positive one. The atmosphere is very pleasant and well-maintained, but the service is practically non-existent. The waiters are curt and stern. I even asked for more wine to be added to my glass, and was very rudely told that was the amount for one glass. I would have appreciated it if they'd accommodated my request, or at most if they'd added a surcharge to the wine price! Plus, the wait for dishes was incredibly long... Regarding the quality of the food, there's nothing to complain about.

14/08/2025: We were very pleased! We were served a multi-course menu, typical of the region – all freshly prepared, using ingredients directly from the farm or from the surrounding area. Each course was lovingly presented and tasted excellent. The homemade pasta, the tender meat dish, and the fantastic dessert deserve special mention. The accompanying regional wine was also first-class. I would also like to mention everything that was served. A big thank you to the team for this unforgettable evening! We would love to come back.

25/07/2025: Very good restaurant on a lively street in Villasimius, refined cuisine in a pleasant setting.

24/07/2025: The restaurant is always busy, and it's not guaranteed that you'll be able to book, so we expected a good dinner. We ordered a seafood and vegetable fregula, but it only had vegetables and 9 small mussels. It was also very salty. For our second course, we had grilled octopus on a potato cream, and it wasn't fresh; you could taste the salt and the acidity. Then we had stuffed calamari with breadcrumbs inside. It was rubbery and tough, difficult to cut, and tasteless. A very pretentious restaurant, but the quality of the food isn't up to par. The staff was unhelpful.

19/07/2025: Excellent place with a good choice of food being a pub and a decent choice of beers. Excellent in my opinion the red beer, which unfortunately has risen to eight euros in the 0.40 version while for food I often choose the goulash or the beef steak is worth it. The service is courteous and fast, with really friendly staff while the waiting times are quite short. Excellent giant screen to enjoy the matches.

16/06/2025: Unfortunately we were only 5 days in Quartu and I didn't have time to taste all the goodness of Mrs. Elena and her son Andrea!!! Both lunch and pizza in the evening, everything was delicious and all accompanied by the kindness of the owners!! I'm really sorry to have to leave for many reasons... among the first the fact that I won't be able to taste their delicious products every day and with ultra-convenient prices. Compliments to all the staff!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Hello Mrs. Elena and hello Andrea!!!! We miss you already!!!!!
