360 degree experience of the world of the sea, enthusiasm in the story and preparation.
In short, not just a dinner.
16/10/2024: It was my birthday here, and I had a lovely dinner with my husband:) I totally enjoyed the meal and hospitality of this place and Danilo!
And we are going to repeat our experience already this Friday. Waiting for it so much:)

16/11/2024: This place is very beautiful, full of architectural structures. The service is very good, the waiters are nice. The food is spectacular, handcrafted and with good quality raw materials. So I recommend it at all costs if you want to spend a nice evening in good company.

30/07/2024: Great restaurant! Went for dinner and the manager instantly greeted us. He was friendly and had a simple conversation w/ us. Our server was well organized, polite & on point.
The restaurant itself is beautiful full of Italian history. If able, sit outside for the authentic Italian feel but plenty of comfortable seating inside.
The food was AMAZING ‼️ So many options to est which all sounded so good. A MUST when visiting Rome.
I had the pesto pasta, filet mignon w/ mushrooms .. All I can say is W O W 🤤🤯😳
I appreciate the entire staff. God bless.

15/11/2024: In 6 , tra grandi e piccoli, abbiamo preso 1,5 metri di pizza, vari gusti e un tagliere di salumi e formaggi veramente importante...la capricciosa strepitosa, ma anche la cacio e pepe veramente gustosa....complimenti, continuate così.....andiamo con una certa frequenza, sono bravi e umili.....consigliati!

06/12/2024: Excellent inn-restaurant, truly beautiful summer location, the upper terraces overlooking the beautiful historic center of Matino! Classic and also revisited dishes, certainly genuine, in fact they use seasonal raw materials, for example, now that it is September, there are various dishes with figs. Definitely recommended! The very kind chef who owns the restaurant (there is also a B&B) makes sure that everything is ok and that the customers are satisfied. Update December 2024, always kind and excellent homemade dishes, for the winter it is characteristic to eat in the underground oil mill. You can also arrive by car but you then have to park in the square or under the main street. There is also an elevator to reach the upper floors
03/12/2024: Excellent place to have lunch or dinner to try the typical Salento menu. Very friendly staff and excellent quality food.

11/08/2024: We moved even though we weren't in Matino to taste the pasticciotti of this pastry shop, given the reviews, and what can I say, a unique discovery; Thanks to the love of the owners and a very kind girl, we tasted the Obama pasticciotto which I would define as spacey and we had some excellent cappuccinos. A pastry shop where quality and tradition prevail.

21/07/2024: Scoperta fortuita ma molto apprezzata. Un po’ di confusione nel trovare il ristorante che si trova su una terrazza al terzo piano, al pian terreno si trova anche un’altro ristorante, fare attenzione! Arrivati al terzo piano siamo stati accolti con molti riguardi in una splendida terrazza con un bel panorama serale complice dell’imbrunire e il tramonto serale. Un ottimo benvenuto dello chef, ottimi consigli per il vino locale molto particolare, bianco giugno Verdeca 2023, uve autoctone da vigneto abbastanza raro della valle d’Itria. Piatti;
- tartare di tonno con maionese alla soya,
- tortelli ripieni di melanzana
- eliche di Gragnano Gentile con cozze, crema di zucchine, olio alla menta e polvere di limone
- semifreddo in due
Materie prime di ottima qualità, sapientemente preparate dallo chef
PREZZO MOLTO ADEGUATO
05/07/2024: Siamo andati in questo ristorante consigliato dalla proprietà della masseria dove alloggiavamo.Esperienza molto positiva per la location (splendida terrazza con vista sui tetti di Matino) la qualità dei piatti e l'accoglienza.
Ottimi il friggitello ripieno di baccalà mantecato , gli spaghetti con scampi e i tubetti con gamberi viola.

13/08/2024: Si fa presente all'ordine di essere vegetariano e portano pasti non vegetariani. Di cetca di far capire a più camerieri di diversità senza riuscirci. La stupidità ed ignoranza che hanno e il loro limite tanto che uno dei tre si presentano con aria minacciosa. Greco quale titolare cerca del personale idoneo e senza fare ariette minacciose o gli faccio male io.

31/05/2024: Recommended for anyone who finds themselves in Matino. Notwithstanding the touristy sounding name, this pizzeria is top notch. After living in Italy for 6 years, this has to be the best pizza and sandwich shop I have ever been to. Moreover the owners and workers are very hard-working and kind, compelling me to write a review which I never do, the prices are actually pretty good too.
