02/02/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Danilo Osteria Creativa in Matino, and the experience was extraordinary. True praise goes to Danilo, the creative and passionate creator of the fish cured meats that we enjoyed as an appetizer: a unique and irresistible proposal, which tells of the love for the sea and craftsmanship. The seafood amatriciana was able to win me over with its perfect balance between tradition and innovation, while the tuna steak, cooked masterfully, proved to be tender and tasty. To end on a high note, the Frisamisù, a surprising dessert that reinterprets the classic tiramisu in a local key, leaving me literally speechless. Congratulations also for the attentive service and warm welcome. Offishine is a pearl not to be missed!

26/01/2025: We had an unforgettable cooking class with Nonna and Greta, and we highly recommend it! The experience was interactive, educational, and so much fun. We spent an incredible time laughing, learning, and sharing moments with these wonderful people. After the class, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner made entirely by us—two types of fresh pasta crafted with local, zero-kilometer ingredients. It was incredible to learn that they personally grow or produce everything they serve, from olive oil to bread and cheese. To top it off, they gave us a tour of the stunning estate, including the beautiful rooms and the fascinating history of the place. It was truly amazing, and I don’t want to spoil the surprise—just go and experience it for yourself! Our only regret? Not staying longer. But we’ll definitely be back! 01/01/2025: New Year's Eve lunch with a fixed menu. We left the restaurant all satisfied and I swear that we were unable to consume everything that was brought to the table. Recipes from the past and typical products of our own production. Roundup of appetizers, 2 first courses, dessert, coffee, bitters, and drinks included. Compliments to the staff. I recommend it to everyone. Quiet and very characteristic environment.

The pizza chefs are good, the lady and the waiters are nice. The pizzas then... worth trying. They also offer restaurant service, and that's no small feat ...

16/01/2025: Pleasant surprise, we organized a family dinner during the Christmas holidays. The menu had been agreed upon previously. The place is very welcoming, created from a former 'palmento' for the production of wine. The staff was available for all our requests and the dinner was a success: delicious food with many Salento appetizers, plus it was nice to have the table near the fireplace!

01/11/2024: Sempre un piacere, ci torniamo sempre molto volentieri. Posto molto elegante nel centro di Matino all' interno di un palazzo del centro storico, proposta culinaria raffinata, in particolare se siete amanti del tartufo siete nel posto giusto. Ottimo l uovo con cardoncelli e tartufo e il pasticciotto salato con crema di stilton ( formaggio erborinato inglese ) e pere , stra buono il tagliolino al burro francese e parmigiano con tartufo nero. Prezzo leggermente sopra la media ( intorno ai 60 € a persona per antipasto primo e un dolce diviso in due ) ma ne vale la pena

06/10/2024: Una splendida palazzina di fine 800, nel cuore del centro storico di Matino, ci accoglie con tutto il suo charme per quella che risulterà essere un’ottima cena tra coppie. Decisamente molto eleganti, con elementi d’arredo e dettagli davvero ricercati, le salette riservate al servizio di portate molto ben riuscite, altrettanto ben presentate, ed apprezzate. La carta è giustamente non infinita e molto ben articolata. Inevitabile considerare davvero notevoli: il pasticciotto farcito pere e formaggio Shorpshire su fonduta di parmigiano e dragoncello, così come il tuorlo fritto su crema di patate allo zafferano, cardoncelli e tartufo nero. Da gran cucina il rollè di galletto farcito con mostarda di Cremona e salse alle senapi. La carta dei vini si è rivelata molto interessante, noi abbiamo “sperimentato” degustando delle armoniche bollicine del Charkra Blu che ben hanno legato le nostre riuscitissime portate. La sezione dessert ci è parsa meno “intraprendente” e di “ricerca” di quanto il percorso culinario meritasse. L’atmosfera calda ed il servizio cortese, e dai tempi corretti, hanno ben contribuito nell’ apprezzare appieno questa ottima realtà.
