30/09/2025: I wanted to get pizza and left the restaurant with a great wine and two pizzas. The pizza was delicious, and so was the wine. Thankfully, the evening was saved.

14/09/2025: On the morning of the 6th, before leaving Vieste, I bought a delicious 2-kg loaf of bread, half a focaccia from Puglia, and three packets of traditional tarallucci. We ate the focaccia for dinner during the trip: excellent, fragrant, and delicious. I split the bread in half so I could give it to my son, but we devoured the other half in three days: breakfast, lunch, a snack, and dinner, and it was always soft and easy to slice. Try it and believe it! 😋😋😋😋😋

30/09/2025: We didn't order anything because the waiter saw us and ignored us several times. After a quarter of an hour, we left.

20/09/2025: Fantastic! Unfortunately, all the menus in town read almost the same. Not so here, because there aren't any. Local cuisine, just as you'd expect. You start with a rich selection of appetizers. Not just the usual selection, but typical regional specialties. If you make it to the second course, you'll be treated to first-class handmade pasta in various variations. We didn't manage to get through the main course, but we did have a legendary tiramisu. Handmade, of course, and incredibly delicious. People with a cat allergy should avoid this restaurant, however, as they are omnipresent. If you go along with it and enjoy it, it's simply fabulous. For me, it's simply the best restaurant in and around Vieste.

02/09/2025: Beautiful, rustic country house near Vieste. We visited for lunch and received a very friendly welcome. There is no menu; the menu is selected based on individual requests or recommendations from the owner. The typical regional dishes are freshly prepared and indescribably delicious. Overall, a fantastic experience to experience authentic Italian cuisine.

25/08/2025: Nothing as promised, a place with great potential but left to itself. Don't promise things you haven't done yet! The restaurant is unusable, the apartments are dirty and poorly equipped, with dirty and malfunctioning refrigerators! For 60 people, there are two washing machines that you have to compete to use! The pool is nice but has major maintenance problems (broken railing, raised wooden flooring). You don't see anyone during the day except for an employee who does everything every now and then and on his day off he was left to his own devices. Will I go back? No, in fact I advise you not to go. Furthermore, I discovered that I paid the same amount as a family of 4 and there were two of us. Same period and no air conditioning. Stop making fun of those who work all year just to be able to enjoy a few days of vacation!!!!

21/07/2025: A few small things could be improved, but really not much. An ideal place for anyone seeking peace and convenience, freedom of movement, an excellent location, and a helpful manager. Worth a try, especially if you have a dog. Highly recommended.

The pizza dough is light, fragrant, and easy to digest, with quality ingredients that you can taste from the first bite. The care and passion are evident in every detail: from classic pizzas to more creative specialties, everything is prepared with care and flavor. The burgers are a real surprise: juicy meat, fresh bread, and balanced toppings that enhance each ingredient without overpowering their flavor. The portions are generous, and the value for money is truly excellent. The staff is always friendly and fast, both for takeout and home delivery—always punctual and with a smile. 24/11/2025: Having traveled extensively in Italy, gelato is found on every corner of every city. Very few are actually art in a cone. Vieste is a true treasure in Italy and Ruggieri serves some of the best Gelato in Italy

09/09/2025: While sightseeing in Vieste, we happened to stop at Caffè Gelateria Ruggieri: a welcoming place with truly delicious gelato. We found the service friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. A highlight: they offer a wide selection of lactose-free gelato, ideal for those with lactose intolerances or simply preferring lighter options without sacrificing flavor.

14/09/2025: We wanted to enjoy a pizza from this place and asked if it was possible to take it away, since our child was asleep in the camper. Unfortunately, we were told that takeaway pizza was not available. Just a few minutes later, however, we saw some locals picking up pizzas to go. This was disappointing and made us feel treated differently as visitors. Later, we also asked if it was possible to change some money for parking, but were told that they had no cash at all.

24/08/2025: We rented two sun loungers and an umbrella. They were very kind, helpful, and very quick. We took advantage of the opportunity to have lunch. The dishes were very good, but the only flaw is that there's no menu with prices displayed because it changes daily, so the price was somewhat unexpectedly high. Overall, recommended!

15/08/2025: Had lunch. Excellent dishes in a simple location with a sea view. The only flaw, which I'd already read in other reviews, is that you order without knowing the cost of the dishes. The service charge isn't shown on the receipt, just the total.

18/03/2026: Great experience. Firstly, restaurant were ready to make pasta carbonara (was not in menu) for children, and children rated it as very tasty. We were 2 adults and 2 children. Secondly, I took second meal and it was not exactly what I wanted. But then I ordered additional meal and tried to explain to waitress what I want (I think I didnt know what exactly I wanted:D) and they bring exactly what I wanted - tasty seafood mix. My girlfriend took seafood risoto, very tasty. Maybe the best seafod rissoto which I have tried. Wide range of emotions and lot of fun - suggest this restaurant. But dont be afraid to speak with waiters and ask about meals to get exactly what you want.

22/11/2025: A small, simple, almost spartan village with a bar, swimming pool, beach volleyball court, synthetic soccer field, and evening entertainment. Excellent location, close to a supermarket and a stone's throw from the sea. Very quiet for a relaxing holiday.

02/08/2025: We just got back... what a shame we couldn't stay longer! The campsite is very well-maintained, tidy, clean, and meticulously organized. The restaurant on the beach is welcoming and fast. The entertainment is good and unobtrusive. There's a bouncy castle area just steps away, which is a favorite with children. Excellent location for visiting the Gargano.

31/10/2025: One of the best campsites in Europe: shaded, with spotlessly clean facilities, a restaurant, a market, and, most importantly, a free beach without umbrellas and no entertainment. Let's hope it stays that way.

16/10/2025: A LARGE CAMPSITE Very strict reception. You have to wait until 4:00 p.m. to be pitched, so there's not really a choice, even though the campsite is practically empty. To respect this "quiet time," cars and scooters should be stopped from leaving, and maintenance staff should be prevented from driving around in trucks and collecting trash!!! The pitches are quite large, flat, under the trees, and unmarked. Easy access and the site is away from the busy road. You need a vehicle because it's far from everything and 12 km from Vieste. The setting is pretty, with a beautiful pebble beach with very easy access (contrary to some reviews). Very nice bar and restaurant. Modern and clean restrooms. No hot water for washing dishes. The toilets should be equipped with brushes! The price is reasonable: €23.00 with an ACSI card, but you don't have the right to the front rows by the sea, and they don't even offer them for an extra charge!
