29/09/2025: A lovely, typical Vieste restaurant with an outdoor terrace....The cuisine is simple, but delicious.
Compliments to all the staff for their politeness, kindness, and professionalism. We ate wonderfully. I recommend the mixed bruschetta; tomatoes, olive oil, and bread were fantastic. The orecchiette with turnips were mouth-watering. Excellent value for money.
Thank you for everything.

08/10/2025: A very simply presented but excellent small fish cafe. Lovely, welcoming owners, nice house wine, delicious sea urchin pasta, coffee and crumbly chocolate torte. We love places like this one.Thankyou to the charming owners.
30/09/2025: Pure excellence...delicious dishes...starting with the appetizers and moving on to a spectacular first course of troccoli with cuttlefish sauce...the seared tuna with pistachios is a divinity...compliments to the chef and all the staff.

07/10/2025: We stayed in this beautiful place. Clean rooms, very attentive staff. We ate dinner almost every night at the restaurant inside. What can I say? The pizza was spectacular! Light and easy to digest, definitely cooked in a wood-fired oven! The first courses were very good. The staff was friendly and helpful! We'll be back!

It's a shame the staff isn't very friendly and isn't very hurried.
I was a bit surprised because they're all young, and I expected a better welcome.
We had lunch there, but the quality of the food is a bit low.
I hope you can improve, especially in your sourcing of raw materials.
We've eaten several poke bowls in different countries, but they're always delicious.
The others were much larger, and above all, the bread wasn't greasy and burnt like yours, but fragrant.
The rice in the poke bowl was overcooked.
The salad wasn't very fresh.
I hope you can take inspiration from our review to improve.

21/09/2025: We enjoyed both the venue and the food. The staff were friendly and attentive. Prices were fair. I would recommend it to anyone who loves a simple atmosphere, surrounded by green olive trees, and grilled dishes.
12/09/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant in the Vieste hinterland for dinner...an informal and welcoming setting. Excellent food, from the starters to the grilled meats and desserts. The service was friendly and helpful.

27/10/2025: The formula is a winning one: you choose your meat (and the selection is delicious) and sit down while they cook it for you on a long, spectacular grill. The benches are comfortable, the place feels like a Texas barn, and the country music is missing. We had excellent pork, perfectly cooked bombette and chicken wings, but the torcinelli were a bit tough. They season everything themselves, but it's unclear why, if you ask for lemon, they bring it to you already squeezed. Decent wine selection, fair prices. Bravo!

07/10/2025: Prime location, clean sanitary facilities, good restaurant, helpful owner at reception, small shop with produce from their own garden, stunning beaches within walking distance, and a relaxed €28 per night for two people with a campervan and dog in mid-September.
I felt like chaining myself to the place and didn't want to leave. The drive there was annoying; it took us over an hour for just under 30 km. But it was absolutely worth it.

27/03/2026: Il titolare Monier è gentilissimo. I suoi piatti sono stra abbondanti. Buono il menu di pesce. Un pò pesante la pizza....ottimo il cous cous...soprattutto quello alle verdure e pesce. Prezzo assolutamente conveniente. Peccato che si trova un pò fuori mano....ma ovviamente dipende da dove si arriva😋
15/02/2026: A nice place where you eat very well. They should pay more attention to the restaurant's organization, cleanliness, and service. I'm not saying it wasn't clean, but it could be better. The owners are very nice and helpful, but you can't expect the chef to also be a waiter. The food here is very good and truly deserves the top rating.

08/03/2026: We came here on a whim and, thanks to the very friendly service, ended up staying much longer and having several drinks. A lovely bar where you feel right at home.
24/11/2025: Having traveled extensively in Italy, gelato is found on every corner of every city. Very few are actually art in a cone. Vieste is a true treasure in Italy and Ruggieri serves some of the best Gelato in Italy

20/09/2025: Fantastic! Unfortunately, all the menus in town seem pretty much the same. Not so here, because there aren't any. Local cuisine, just the way you like it. You start with a generous selection of appetizers. Not just the usual fare, but typical regional specialties. If you manage to stick around for the second course, you'll be treated to first-class, handmade pasta in various styles. We didn't have time for the main course, but we did have a legendary tiramisu. Handmade, of course, and incredibly delicious. However, people with cat allergies should avoid this restaurant, as they are everywhere.
If you embrace this and enjoy the experience, it's simply fabulous.
For me, it's simply the best restaurant in and around Vieste.
02/09/2025: A beautiful, rustic country house near Vieste.
We went for lunch and received a very warm welcome. There's no menu; the dishes are chosen based on individual preferences or the owner's recommendations.
The typical regional dishes are freshly prepared and incredibly delicious.
Overall, a wonderful experience to discover authentic Italian cuisine.
