26/01/2025: Very small rooms and tables almost together, good food, good service, but too expensive for what you eat. You can't put a plate of pasta in the center of the table for everyone.... I understand that there is often waste and food has to be thrown away (wrong thing) but a plate of pasta for everyone is ridiculous... Then paying 40 €each......never again

10/01/2025: I took two pizzas to take away, one red and one olive. Delicious pizza cooked to perfection served quickly. Friendly and helpful service absolutely not to be missed.

Ottima carne alla griglia con i contorni del territorio, immancabile lo spumone e la piccola pasticceria secca. Da tornare!

11/12/2024: Nice place with several interesting dishes. The wine list is extensive. Regarding the appetizers, consider carefully whether it is appropriate to order the complete one. It is very abundant (one is for two people) and also a little expensive but above all, by filling you up, it prevents you from enjoying that couple of courses between first and second courses that make a good classic lunch.

20/01/2025: One of the restaurants in the Itria valley where you absolutely must stop. Enchanting place in the center of the town of Ceglie Messapica where you eat (well) and drink (better) without spending an arm and a leg. Familiar and comfortable environment for pleasant socializing.

19/01/2025: Ieri sera ho avuto un’esperienza estremamente deludente in questo ristorante, nonostante avessi prenotato un tavolo per le 21:15. Purtroppo, l’organizzazione si è rivelata completamente inefficiente, poiché siamo stati fatti accomodare con un ritardo di ben 30 minuti. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto, specificando chiaramente al personale di sala che non mangiamo pesce. Tuttavia, ci sono state servite ugualmente portate a base di pesce, evidenziando una grave mancanza di attenzione alle richieste del cliente. Le porzioni dell’antipasto erano inoltre di dimensioni irrisorie, talmente ridotte da risultare quasi simboliche, ben lontane da quanto ci si aspetterebbe in un contesto ristorativo. Successivamente, ho ordinato un primo piatto: sebbene il gusto fosse soddisfacente, la quantità era a dir poco inadeguata, più assimilabile a un assaggio preliminare per verificare la cottura della pasta che a una portata principale. Come tentativo di rimediare ai numerosi disservizi, ci è stato offerto un tiramisù. Questo gesto, per quanto apprezzabile, non ha minimamente compensato i disagi causati dall’organizzazione carente, dagli errori nel servizio e dalla scarsa cura nella soddisfazione del cliente.

21/12/2024: Never again, nice place, but in the hall of the Saints very cold, even if it was equipped with air conditioning, but it pumped cold air, decent appetizer, but the grilled meat was raw, with a taste of detergent, but the cold was as if we were eating outside ....never again.

09/01/2025: Well maintained and clean place, Friendly and efficient staff. Exquisite pizza, not to mention the puccia cegliese, my favourite! The homemade liqueurs are delicious, served with Cegliese biscuits. Excellent quality/price ratio

29/12/2024: Terrible experience at this restaurant! We have been coming to Ceglie for 4 years and everytime we come the restaurant is closed or packed. Our realtor and lawyer (locals from Ceglie messapica) recommended this restaurant to us so we decided to finally give it a try, well as soon as we walked into the restaurant, the owner ignored us and walked away from us. I went after him to asked him if he has a table for 2 and he automatically responded to me in a really condescending way in front everyone in the restaurant and he even used his finger in my face to say that he didn't have a table for us. This treatment is really sad and disappointed to us because every local restaurant has been nice and attentive .

07/01/2025: We paid 35 euros each for a fixed menu (I think a little expensive) in Brindisi for the same food and also music (which there wasn't in this place) in some places you pay 25 euros. 18/01/2025: Frequentiamo questo locale da anni e posso considerarlo una delle nostre garanzie!! Se vuoi mangiare ottimi panini con la carne o piatti e insalate, se vuoi tornare indietro nel tempo agli anni 70-80-90 e se vuoi scegliere la musica dal jukebox questo è il posto giusto!! Staff gentilissimo e alla mano!! Entrare in sala ed essere avvolti da schermi, luci e colori , giochi arcade ti fa capire già che hai fatto un'ottima scelta!!

29/12/2024: I had dinner at this place a few nights ago and I didn't leave very satisfied. My friend had a card that cost €11 for a sandwich+drink+chips, and the other 2 of us decided to do it at the cash register, shortly after the waitress came and told us to hurry. My friend asks for a sandwich from the manu and is told that that doesn't fit into the card (so I wonder what the point is?!). The sandwiches arrived and for the price paid I honestly expected more: my "chic" had to be with bacon and barbecue sauce which I must say was really wasted (look at the photo) and then looking at the menu they gave me bacon as an addition to €1.50. For €1.50 can you find me a single slice? Obscene. My friends had a Michael Jackson where even for them the pistachio pesto was really poor. Total €16.50. I don't think I will return

27/09/2024: Best smashed burger I have ever had. Tried in London and Berlin. But this one is the best! The panino con maialetto is like pulled pork with so many spices. Amazing! The owner is super friendly.

06/01/2025: Since the 80s with fury, more than a home-made/traditional cuisine it is an arranged home-style cuisine, but the prices are restaurant prices! Starter €28 for 2 people, a mix of vegetables and we didn't quite understand what else as it has an indefinable taste, I can't give a definition to the starter and I apologize for this! The choice of first courses is between orecchiette/spaghetti/cavatelli with sauce... the second courses are meat not cooked in the stove, but baked with half a potato! I get a starter for 2, a single cavatello with gratin sauce, a single second course consisting of 5 small pieces of sausage (of very poor quality) and half a new potato, 2 glasses of wine.....€68! Plus 2 hours at the table to eat this goodness! The only truly homely thing is the coffee served in a mocha. I'm amazed at how many locals can't wait to eat 2 orecchiette with sauce for €14! Maybe I'm the one who doesn't understand anything....
