15/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per confrontare l’attuale gestione con quella che conoscevamo ai tempi di Cosimino. Abbiamo trovato tutto molto fresco con ottime pietanze. Lo staff ottimo,molto efficiente e garbato. Il costo in linea con i ristoranti dello stesso livello è congruo rispetto alla qualità. Penso ci sia la necessità di rivedere il menù almeno per quel che riguarda gli ingredienti dei vari piatti proposti anche perché siamo rimasti un po’ delusi dal primo che abbiamo ordinato pensando in una preparazione col pomodorino anziché in bianco. 08/07/2025: Wonderful experience this afternoon. This afternoon my wife and I sat at the tables under the beautiful and evocative portico in the historic location. The food and coffee are delicious, I say this because I've tried them on other occasions... but not today. We weren't served anything. We sat there outside for 10 minutes or more. No less. There were other tables that, one by one, got up and went to pay at the inside register. We were alone. I counted three "workers": a man and two women. And, perhaps, one inside table. There was the air conditioning worker (to let the owner, a kind and polite acquaintance of ours, know that the review is true and the incident occurred). Nothing... I grabbed my wife and took her elsewhere for afternoon coffee and gelato. Thanks, see you next time.

27/06/2025: A Home Away From Home - The Perfect Café! My wife and I were looking for a place to work remotely for a few days, and we couldn't have found a more perfect spot than Café Bar Oriente. This place is an absolute gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with incredible warmth. The atmosphere is wonderfully familial, and all the staff members are consistently friendly and welcoming. You can tell it's a well-run establishment, as the owners are always present, greeting guests with a smile and ensuring everyone is well taken care of. Their attentiveness truly makes a difference. For anyone looking for a "mobile office," this café is ideal. We spent our days working here comfortably, fueled by some of the best espresso we've had. Beyond the coffee, they offer a range of delicious delicacies. You absolutely must try the pistachio croissant – it's soft and has a generous, creamy filling. I also recommend trying the "Tette delle Monache" ("Nun's Puffs"), a delightful local cream-filled pastry. Everything about our experience was very good, right down to the clean restrooms. It’s a huge plus for tourists that some of the waiters are English-speaking and are all-around nice guys. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit. If you're a tourist looking for an authentic and friendly café experience, do not miss Café Bar Oriente!

20/08/2025: Fantastic trattoria. Incredible value for money. We were greeted with kindness and warmth, and the food reflects the owners' authenticity. The first courses were delicious, including the orecchiette with braciola sauce and the cavatelli with mussels. The house red wine is one of the best I've ever had. The mixed fried fish and baked scamorza cheese are delicious. Unbeatable price. We'll definitely be back, thank you so much. Highly recommended!
