Recommended by friends we go for lunch and recommended by the waiter (super kind and professional) we agree to try the tasting menu excellent and super abundant appetizers, two tastings of first course and a second course in the price were also included the dessert (we were unable to eat it because we were too full) bitter and coffee at the price of €50 per person and forgot water and wine in the price ... we will gladly return highly recommended

29/05/2025: Here I was more welcome then the other gelateria in Barletta and was happy with the more friendly approach. It made my day. I took the Dubai which was suprisely good and Bacio with nuts! Grazie!!

26/04/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante con grandi aspettative, ma purtroppo siamo rimasti molto delusi. Abbiamo ordinato un piatto di crudi di mare per tre persone, tre antipasti (carciofi, polpo, verdure in tempura) due primi ai frutti di mare, un solo dolce, un solo sorbetto e due bottiglie di vino (da 28€ ciascuna). Qualità del cibo nella media, nulla di memorabile. La sorpresa più grande è arrivata con il conto: 300€ (100€ a testa) per un pasto che non ha giustificato minimamente il prezzo. Anche considerando il vino, la cifra finale è risultata del tutto sproporzionata rispetto a quanto consumato. La presenza del nostro unico tavolo e la mancanza di altri commensali probabilmente ha influito negativamente sul conto ? Ad ogni modo in zona ci sono posti con qualità superiore e prezzi più onesti. Non torneremo.

06/06/2025: Choosing Barletta as a holiday, we were pleasantly surprised by the welcome, hospitality and familiarity. We happened upon this restaurant by chance, and chose it for 3 dinners.....the dishes chosen were "seasoned" with the affability, care, and professionalism of all the staff who took care of the attention, which so much taste of family warmth. The seafood capunti are fabulous!, as well as the grilled octopus, the fried food, and rice, potatoes and mussels. Highly recommended to those who love excellent cuisine, genuine ingredients, the strong and very pleasant flavours of Puglia...and the family atmosphere. Barletta, already beautiful, with you is special!!

02/06/2025: Staying in Barletta for tourism after visiting the places of the historic Disfida di Barletta, we decided to stop at this restaurant. Well a location with a view of the Castle, the friendliness of the owner who proved to be an excellent tourist advisor giving us useful information for our tour together with the staff for an impeccable and very kind service.

03/06/2025: Mesi fa una cartellata al vin cotto totalmente homemade, chicca finale di una bella cena, ci consentì di entrare in sintonia con Chef Dargenio e la sua idea di cucina. Fu l’occasione di scambiare opinioni gastronomiche e riproporsi di tornare a gustare una certa cucina. La sua cucina: tradizione ed idee, una cucina con protagonisti assoluti la materia prima e sua maestà l’olio evo. Rinnoviamo i complimenti oggi ! E…vi sorprenderà la sezione dessert. Assolutamente all’altezza anch’essa.

26/03/2025: In my humble opinion it is not a location that I would choose for a family party, tasty food, not of excellent quality, appetizers in the center which is something I do not prefer, consisting of mignon and chips more flavor in the center of the table.... which I have never seen before on other occasions.

25/03/2025: Perfect location for any type of event special owners super food in terms of quality and quantity, especially fresh and when it comes to the sea you can immediately feel the difference, trained staff, welcoming and always available I can't wait to return perhaps for a lunch or dinner with friends to celebrate. 12/06/2025: Never again, we are very disappointed with the food consumed, an appetizer and two first courses all seafood, but the flavor of the sea was not felt at all, shocked we asked for the bill and preferred not to continue with other courses, because we had a bad aftertaste of what we had consumed. We went there for the positive reviews, but for us they are fake reviews, but something when we entered the restaurant to see it empty at 9pm on a Saturday night made us a little suspicious. Not to mention the prices, they served the house wine by the glass and made you pay €6, if I had asked for a Brunello by the glass, they asked me €60 per glass, and for water a liter in a plastic bottle €4, we felt like we were being taken for a ride. They ruined our evening. One piece of advice I can give is not to follow the reviews, but the word of mouth of those who have actually frequented that place.

13/03/2025: Welcoming location, owner available to satisfy requests and very knowledgeable about the choice of wines, of which he is well stocked. I recommend a flan with artichokes and fantastic bacon. Prices are normal for the service offered.
