09/12/2025: A total disappointment!! I called to make a reservation at this restaurant 2 days in advance. While I was talking on the phone, the owner asked me what time we would be arriving for lunch. I told him roughly: 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM? Or do you want a specific time? Or you tell me... he didn't specify any conditions. Then we arrived at 1:45 PM and he said it was 2 PM, and that was already a lie!! But the owner didn't specify anything when we booked! He could have even said if you arrive late you lose your place!!! He didn't say anything!!! You're welcome!!! Don't worry, I booked 3 days ago. Finally, on Sunday the 7th, we arrived, but late. So our seats for 6 adults and 6 children had already been taken. Moral of the story: there's no point in booking! First come, first served! And then they were really rude!! He even had the nerve to say the reservation was for 1:15 PM, but that was a complete lie. When I asked him at the time of booking if he had any time restrictions, he didn't say anything!! But that's no way to behave. Since we were traveling with six children that day, we should have at least provided a plate of pasta for them! I went to ask elsewhere, but they obviously didn't have any seats... but when I explained what happened, he said the same thing had happened to him: a group had arrived late, but he had saved the table for them. It's like me making a reservation somewhere and then not showing up without warning. I would never have dared to do something like that. It's a matter of respect for others. As far as I'm concerned, you, the owner, can say whatever you want; I just know that a principle lies in the principle, and you shouldn't behave like that. It's a matter of ethics.

07/12/2025: We went for lunch with a group of friends, and I must say the owner was very kind in waiting for us because we had trouble finding parking and were late. The lunch was delicious, truly excellent appetizers, first courses, and meat-based second courses. A truly wonderful discovery. Worth repeating.

09/11/2025: Restaurant found by chance. Absolutely amazing, especially the assortment for two—almost 12 small plates! And the wine was perfect for us French! 👍 Highly recommended. And be sure to ask for Claudio, who is incredibly helpful and as kind as his smile, as is his female colleague.

06/10/2025: A delightful discovery! A welcoming and well-kept place, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. The pizza is truly excellent: light, well-leavened dough, perfectly cooked, and quality ingredients. I tried a pizza with potatoes, mushrooms, mozzarella, and crispy bacon—an irresistible balance of flavors! The appetizers were also excellent: a Calabrian dish with peppers, potatoes, and porcini mushrooms, while the French fries were crispy and golden brown. All washed down with a good draft beer, for a simple yet impeccable dinner. A place we'll gladly return to, whether for an evening with friends or for a relaxed dinner with a breathtaking view of Locorotondo. Kudos to the Belvedere staff: top-notch quality, courtesy, and flavor! 👏🍕🍺

16/11/2025: First time we have experience like that. You choose your meat in the "a la" "store section " and after that your meat will be grilled to perfection. Quality of the meat is superb, fresh, and local of course. Be ready to eat a lot☝️ Locals start coming after 13-13:30, so if you'll come before you have a chance to be alone in a calm environment, after that traditional Italian situation, a lot of customers, loud, laugh, talk. Do not miss the local wine from the house, really nice! Highly recommended when in Locorotondo

21/10/2025: A truly impeccable dinner! The Porterhouse was extraordinary, served on a hot stone so you could adjust the cooking to your liking. The meat was top-quality, tender, and incredibly flavorful. The baked potatoes on the side were also excellent. The staff was friendly and quick, and the place has a truly welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

16/09/2025: Excellent Angus beef with incredible homemade chips. The Albea house wine is delicious, and the service from Jada is so kind and knowledgeable! Come on over!

07/12/2025: Rude and impolite staff, especially the pizza chef! He treats customers badly and makes a fuss about everything. He looks a bit exhausted... but is everything okay?! Pizza without salt or oil. I don't recommend it!

06/12/2025: Unspeakable in terms of manner and attitude. We enter the restaurant, asking for a table for seven. They seat us, and even before we're seated, they tell us, unkindly, that we can't order starters, but only pizza, main courses, and dessert. My husband enters with the dog, and the owner (I think he's the one who bakes the pizzas) rudely and impolitely states that they don't allow dogs. It's 2025, approaching 2026, and you don't know how to live. I don't recommend them due to their rudeness, arrogance, etc.

11/10/2025: Mandragora is a real treat for those seeking authenticity, flavor, and a warm welcome. Located in a charming village, the restaurant combines local flavors and experimental dishes with great balance. Each dish is meticulously prepared, the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the flavors are authentic. Angelo and Kristian are attentive and know how to make guests feel pampered. The atmosphere is intimate yet lively. The value for money is more than fair, considering the attention to detail evident in the cuisine and the hospitality. In short: I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to discover the best of Puglia in a special atmosphere.

07/10/2025: Beautiful setting. Good service. Simple meal. Chicken cooked well, but simple to prepare with arugula and mini tomatoes, no sauce. Ravioli would have been better cooked in water or pan rather than deep-fried.

A special shout-out to the waiter, Miki – extremely friendly, attentive, and professional. He truly enhances the atmosphere of the place. I highly recommend

02/10/2025: The panzerotti place is run by a husband and wife who are very friendly. Once we placed our order, they started rolling the panzerotti dough to make it fresh! We didn’t have to wait long at all — within 10 minutes our order was ready. The panzerotti were huge, crunchy, and very tasty!

14/09/2025: The panzerotto is good but there is no bathroom for customers with the answer it is take away but it is illegal the bathroom is mandatory and the lady is grumpy and the cleanliness was not the best, I really don't think I will go back again

13/11/2025: I had the opportunity to enjoy dinner at Antonella's. The quality of the food and the hospitality were excellent. The fillet was excellent, both for the quality of the meat and the attention to detail. It was the best I've ever had in my culinary experience. It blew away the best I've tasted in South Africa, Argentina, and Brazil. I'll be back soon. Riccardo Romeo Siena
