02/02/2026: What can I say? Everything, absolutely everything, was top notch. We just had lunch at this beautiful restaurant, very elegant and welcoming. The service was excellent, and the food was excellent—everything was top-notch. It will become a must-visit for us as soon as we return to this area. Thank you so much for everything.

15/01/2026: Recommended! A superb trattoria for its hospitality, its ambiance, and above all, its tasty, high-quality food. My fava beans and chicory were out of this world, as was the original and delicious vegan burger, made with vegetables and legumes. The price was very reasonable.

03/01/2026: I'm very sorry to say I was completely disappointed. Not being local, I chose this restaurant based on the beautiful photos and reviews. Unfortunately, I made a terrible impression on my friend, my dinner guest, who was also disappointed. The dishes served are BEAUTIFUL, and there's nothing I can say about that. The problem is the taste. We didn't like anything! I'm all for paying a lot for a gourmet meal, but it has to be worth it. I'm sorry, but it's all show here! Not to mention the waiters, who were sick and tired of it, you could see from a mile away, and a lady—I dare say the owner, perhaps—who couldn't hide her rudeness behind a fake smile. The atmosphere was therefore not very pleasant. It's a shame, I had very high expectations. I won't be back. IN RESPONSE: I didn't take advantage of the menu; I ate à la carte.

Borgo Antico is one of those places that immediately makes you feel right at home: an elegant yet warm atmosphere, meticulously crafted down to the smallest details, and a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to enjoy your time and food without rushing. The cuisine is simply excellent. Refined, well-balanced dishes, with evidently high-quality ingredients and beautiful yet never overdone presentations. Each course has meaning, a precise balance, and you can clearly sense the skill and respect of the ingredients. The service deserves a special mention: attentive, kind, professional, always present but never intrusive. They make you feel welcomed, listened to, and pampered in the right way. A restaurant that leaves its mark, ideal for both a special dinner and a moment of true gastronomic pleasure. I will definitely return. 5 full stars, well-deserved. ✨ I know when a place is truly good… and this one is indeed. 💫

18/12/2025: A really cute place, which you'd never think of finding next to a gas station. That's precisely why it's so convenient: just outside Gioia, you can arrive and park easily. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff very friendly. The food is good and refined. As for the desserts, one time I found them fantastic, the other time not so good. Definitely worth a try. Reservations are recommended.

25/10/2025: Shameful!!!! Terrible service!!! We were literally kicked out after paying an exorbitant bill and not eating anything. If you're in Gioia del Colle, don't stop at Mastrovito.

12/10/2025: Unfortunately, we had a less than satisfactory evening. From the truly excessive bill to the service. Their two-seater system, designed to increase their earnings, is inconvenient for those who arrive early. You have to hurry, and you end up eating with the people waiting in the dining room next to your table. I personally don't recommend it; there are other butcher shops that are less impressive and very good.

03/01/2026: Let's start by saying that the location is very elegant and central, with classic furnishings, small seating areas, and beautiful chandeliers. The aperitif is quite tasty, with a wide selection of sandwiches and tramezzini. There's not a huge selection of desserts. It's a popular meeting place for friends because it's centrally located and in a pedestrian area.

26/10/2025: What can I say... when we go, we feel right at home. Stefano at the console delights us with so many freshly made delicacies. In the fridge, you'll find a variety of beers unlike anything you've ever seen. Definitely worth returning to... or rather, returning again...

05/10/2025: For me, it remains THE pizzeria in Gioia. The last one left is truly good, with a truly fair quality-price ratio, in fact! A guarantee, extremely friendly staff, delicious pizzas, soft, juicy and never dry or burnt, a variety of ingredients, and always new monthly specials.

18/01/2026: Last night we went to this pizzeria. We had a reservation for 9:30 PM. After an hour of waiting, we asked the staff how long we had to wait. They replied, "If you have the patience, come sit down." Terrible organization.

29/12/2025: The pizza was burnt downstairs, the table was 1 meter from the restrooms, and therefore had unpleasant odors. I asked several times to change seats, citing the cold air for my elderly parents, but to no avail. I won't be returning.
