24/07/2025: Sunday lunch with a fixed menu (€45 with two first courses) at this lovely masseria, where you can dine both inside and out. The price is fair for the amount of food served; we couldn't finish it all, so we had our second course delivered to us in a doggy bag. All the appetizers were delicious and tasty, especially the carpaccio with strawberries, which was truly excellent. We were, however, disappointed with the first courses; we expected much more robust flavors. We did, however, enjoy the meat in the second course. The dessert was nothing special.

01/08/2025: Typical local Italian food! Vito is a fantastic host. As mentioned before, we had a variety of dishes, and they were truly amazing! The price was very reasonable; we had two full trattorias, a bottle of wine, two cokes, water, and a beer... €60. That's what you get two crappy pizzas from Happy Italy for in the Netherlands these days. All in all, highly recommended!! We stumbled upon this place, but I highly recommend it to everyone! 18/08/2025: Always excellent.. The butcher shop and the management are always above all expectations.. Excellent, meat in terms of goodness and quality, well done, well done.. You can see that there is always effort.

09/08/2025: The food was very good, especially the appetizers. Unfortunately, the fillet was extremely rare, a bit too rare (coming from someone who loves rare meat)... Too bad! Overall, satisfied! Price ok!

20/07/2025: Generous portions and quality ingredients. Excellent service; they immediately offered us local olives and delicious Apulian bread. The lemon and pistachio linguine was delicious (with lots of pistachio, just how I like it).

24/08/2025: Based on other reviews, I expected a 5-star experience, but it fell short. We made the reservation on time, and the dining room was beautiful, but we suffered a bit from the heat. Despite being only two people, after trying the excellent fritters (pupi), the wait for the pizzas was considerable (an hour), so the beer got warmer than it should have been. Furthermore, the sauce bowls served with the pupi arrived with smudged edges... I would improve the presentation to avoid even thinking they were already used. Perhaps additional single-serving sachets would be more welcome. Overall, the pizza was good, but far from my standards. Beyond what may be subjective tastes (thick/thick pizza, crispy/chewy), I can't help but criticize the toppings: both pizzas produced a lot of fiordilatte water in the center... one in particular was extremely salty due to the capocollo. Average quality/price ratio, lactose-free supplement €2, Neapolitan dough €1.

18/08/2025: Nice pizzeria in the center of Gioia del Colle, good pizza and a great selection on the menu. The only problem is that at the beginning of the evening, the Neapolitan dough isn't available because there's little demand. Either you don't order it, or it's not available at the end of the evening, not at 8:15 PM... and anyway, I find it hard to believe that in a pizzeria, authentic dough isn't appreciated.

11/05/2025: Excellent venue. Nice place, a bit of tidying up, excellent food, very friendly and professional staff. I would definitely come back if I found myself in these parts

13/04/2025: A good Osteria in Gioia del Colle that I recommend on the pedestrian street of Via Roma, good typical Apulian cuisine, very good and kind Anna and good service from Cristina who very kindly made us spend a nice Sunday at lunch..!!🔝🔝✨️✨️

10/07/2025: I tried this restaurant for dinner, recommended by friends. Both the outdoor and indoor location in the historic center of Gioia del Colle is beautiful. The menu pays attention to local specialties and has a gourmet touch. The carpaccios were excellent, as was the appetizer selection. The octopus was delicious and perfectly cooked. The desserts are a highlight! They were truly delicious and beautifully presented. The quality/price ratio is average for fish-based dishes. The service was a bit sluggish, but there's always room for improvement.

02/05/2025: A very nice farmhouse, completely surrounded by greenery, far from traffic and city chaos and very well looked after. There are around fifty seats, in my opinion synonymous with respect and attention towards the customer. The cuisine is typical local, the (local) products fresh and genuine, which tell the story and tradition of this place and of the owners, who are very welcoming, kind and helpful. The staff is young and dynamic. Really good, everyone. Here you can breathe the scent of times gone by and when you taste the dishes, you can't help but think of our beautiful land and your roots. We had a really good time. Highly recommended! See you soon

06/08/2025: By chance, while driving from the beach, we stumbled upon Gioia del Calle. We were hungry. It took a while to find a restaurant (we were in an unfamiliar town), but it was 100% worth it. A top-notch culinary experience. Every dish we ordered took us to the heights of our palate. I highly recommend it, not just for the hungry... 10/10

25/06/2025: A very welcoming, clean place with a special atmosphere, thanks to the smile and friendliness of an authentic staff, like their cuisine, with delicate flavors that give a sublime sensation to the palate. My children do not call the fully a restaurant, perhaps because it also has a fast drive service for takeaway like McDonald's, but it has nothing to do with it. We had an aperitif for two. 2 Spritz 4 bruschetta with genuine local products of excellent choice, 1 appetizer of raw ham and buffalo mozzarella (250gr), then an Aperifully with a mix of tastings, which are actually really abundant for one person. The cost was 20 euros per person but we are full for 2 days.... A unique experience, thanks also to the terrace with a view and the gardens with tables surrounded by greenery. From now on we always come here.... I absolutely have to try the spaghetti all'assassina 🤤

20/07/2025: I went to try the famous octopus sandwich and was disappointed. The octopus was so small that all you could taste was the bread. We asked for salad, but the only difference was the price: an extra euro each for half a leaf. The octopus was overcooked and tasteless. 4 out of 7 people were dissatisfied.

24/07/2025: I went to Covella Bar Pasticceria in Gioia del Colle for an aperitif with a friend, and I have to say it was excellent! The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable. We'll definitely be back!

Pizza molto buona, prezzi ottimi e personale estremamente cordiale ed attento!
