04/11/2025: I've known this place for many years, and I must say they've constantly improved over time. They offer a traditional menu with excellent ingredients, innovative dishes with interesting combinations, and a very beautiful and relaxing location. The owners really make you feel at home, and they pay special attention to their customers. And finally, excellent value for money. Absolutely recommended, a 10 out of 10.

02/11/2025: A warm and welcoming place, with friendly service and authentic Apulian cuisine. Excellent menu with appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, fruit, and bitter coffee, all hand-crafted by Apulian mothers. Open for lunch and dinner every day. An ideal venue for any type of event. Very convenient parking, too. Puglia is on the table here, and more. Highly recommended.

25/10/2025: Shameful!!!! Terrible service!!! We were literally kicked out after paying an exorbitant bill and not eating anything. If you're in Gioia del Colle, don't stop at Mastrovito.
12/10/2025: Unfortunately, we had a less than satisfactory evening. From the truly excessive bill to the service. Their two-seater system, designed to increase their earnings, is inconvenient for those who arrive early. You have to hurry, and you end up eating with the people waiting in the dining room next to your table. I personally don't recommend it; there are other butcher shops that are less impressive and very good.

07/11/2025: We found this restaurant by chance while walking through the historic center. It's located in a historic building with stone vaults. The food was excellent, and the table service was prompt and professional, thanks to the kindness of the waitress who served us. A wonderful experience.

Good service and chap was very helpful sorting out all customers with food in record time.

In a pizza topping that you didn't get, he makes you pay for it anyway!! We're kidding!! Then you ask him if it's fair and he looks like an idiot and replies "yes" while laughing!! One star is even too much!!! 🔥

We were comfortable and the food was good, but above all, everything was authentic, everything was hot, everything was freshly made, nothing frozen or processed, but perfect. 28/08/2025: I went to this restaurant for the first time last night with two friends. The atmosphere is relaxed. The outdoor location is located at the base of the Norman-Swabian Castle of Gioia del Colle, so the view is spectacular. The interior rooms are very charming. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is top-notch. The meat is well-cooked, the sandwich toasted to perfection, and the salad and tomatoes are fresh. The sandwich is huge, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. We'll be back.

26/10/2025: What can I say... when we go, we feel right at home. Stefano at the console delights us with so many freshly made delicacies. In the fridge, you'll find a variety of beers unlike anything you've ever seen. Definitely worth returning to... or rather, returning again...
05/10/2025: For me, it remains THE pizzeria in Gioia. The last one left is truly good, with a truly fair quality-price ratio, in fact! A guarantee, extremely friendly staff, delicious pizzas, soft, juicy and never dry or burnt, a variety of ingredients, and always new monthly specials.

11/05/2025: Excellent venue. Nice place, a bit of tidying up, excellent food, very friendly and professional staff. I would definitely come back if I found myself in these parts
