27/12/2024: Excellent experience in this farmhouse restaurant just outside the center of Gioia del Colle, easy to reach from SS100 and with private parking. All very good, but I like to underline the attention paid to the guests from the moment they arrive until they leave at the end of lunch (on the table there was also a letter of thanks for having chosen their activity with lots of best wishes for the holiday). Right quality/price ratio...if I really have to make a small criticism to improve further, perhaps I was expecting a little more from the desserts given that it was Boxing Day lunch, but there will be another opportunity to make up for it😉

Convenient to get there especially for those passing through from the motorway, being able to exit at the Gioia del Colle junction. The place is nice, restaurant-like atmosphere, perhaps I would review the distances between one table and another. In any case, the value for money is honest, the food and service are excellent. I recommend it

02/11/2024: Well, I have already spoken about Pizzeria La Vecchia Gioia and one can only repeat good things (!). Appetizing and valuable appetizers, the pizza always excellent. Hospitality and friendliness guaranteed. It has always been one of "our" reference places (one of the two or three in the area that have always excelled; if you want I can point to the other two). The only flaw (really the only one), takeaway, at the same time as table service, which sometimes interferes and lengthens waiting times (!) The only solution is to "get to the table early"(!). Happy tasting everyone. July 2022, a Saturday; I confirm the excellent impressions already reported. Only the prices, a little increased. End of October 2022, Saturday: delicious pizzas, fast service (!), excellent beer, top appetizers. Everything (even) improved. Excellent dinner. August 2023: crowded, long wait for pizzas... and the rest. Always excellent pizza, prices slightly adjusted upwards. Still a good place, though. November 2023: everything still excellent and appetizing. The pizza chosen tonight was truly amazing.

29/07/2024: I was craving fish fry, but it didn't go as I hoped. I'm sorry, young and kind guys, but serving is something else. Bottle of wine served already opened, big mistake, fried fish served three minutes after the order, already ready. Frying is one of those things you can't have ready, it doesn't exist. Second hot course served almost at the same time. That's no good. I hope for the kids that they draw inspiration from my complaints to improve.

08/08/2024: Prima volta a Gioia del Colle e la mia compagna mi suggerisce questo posto... che dire. Accolti in modo professionale e molto gentile dal responsabile di sala Samuele che ci consiglia due vini eccezionali. Abbiamo preso due aperitivi completi che sono stati una goduria. Tutto ottimo con la piacevole sorpresa districare anche pietanze gourmet. Lo consiglio vivamente. A proposito, il vino era un Muro Sant'Angelo cantine Chiaromonte (primitivobdi Gioia) e un prosecco davvero ottimo.

29/06/2024: Zero attenzione all’utenza. Attesa ingiustificata (col senno di poi) e prolungata di oltre mezz’ora, per un posto a sedere prenotato all’arrivo, e poi dato a clienti arrivati dopo di noi, cui è stato permesso di passarci avanti.

22/12/2024: I went to this place for dinner with colleagues. It was the first time I discovered it and I must say that I was very surprised. A very particular and well-kept location that welcomes you and envelops you in the rock. Varied and particular menu that combines local tradition with refined dishes. Very professional and kind staff. We tasted a wide variety of dishes and all were very good and of excellent quality. A pleasant discovery to return to again. Compliments!

05/11/2024: Nice place in the centre, very well furnished and owner/staff helpful and very attentive. Very good quality of food and particular combinations, not much to my taste but undoubtedly good and refined.

20/11/2024: Excellent value for money! I ate Sunday lunch with some friends, we ate a lot and well and spent the right amount! Advised.

02/11/2024: Really underrated place... We went in out of curiosity and had a great meal, with really generous portions and dishes that we haven't found so good in other restaurants. In particular, the first courses (orecchiette and tagliolini) are truly exceptional! The fire bombettes are also worth trying, they are certainly scenic but the flavor is worth it. The focaccia brought as an appetizer was also pleasant, included in the covered dish, crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside... A great start. Inside the restaurant the atmosphere is simple but elegant at the same time, with a very approachable staff that makes the experience pleasant. I would happily return!

31/12/2024: I've had aperitifs here several times, but today I wanted to try breakfast. Good croissants, excellent filling, perhaps a little overcooked but I imagine it's just a coincidence.. The rest everything ok. Super friendly and nice service. Nothing to say about the environment, really nice. I recommend it.
